Life! Kinda got in the way of my updating the site. And then the webhost neglected to remind me payment was due. So the site crashed for a day and I had to pay out of pocket to revive it, minus any help from donations (thus far, and because nobody else knew!) But the plus side to the scare is it gave me the kick in the pants needed to get the site updated, and here it is, on Guy Fawkes Day, I believe, although the fireworks are as much a celebration of AN UPDATE *hears gasps* as of any other celebration. So, if anyone is willing to donate some money to ensure the continued survival of the site, do paypal me! Address is on the Donations page. Otherwise, contact me if you'd like to offer some support (money or otherwise) for the site in other ways. Due to too few entries, the Mystery Fan Fiction Challenge has been extended to 'whenever there are enough entries'. Please participate so BWINT can have another successful competition! Several members have joined several Fanclubs, including the Silverbolt Fanclub. Remember, you can use these clubs for any fun BW-related stuff, like showcasing your character-centred art piece or fics, or you can start friendly competitions between characters/clubs. If you wanna get something going, post on the Forums and rally up support for your idea! An About the Author page has been submitted by Onyx Wing. The next BWINT Newsletter will be up as soon
as I can find time. This update alone took me the better part
of three days to complete.

13 June 2008 Latest Fan Fiction || Fan Art Update Exams are finally over and in 2 weeks I'll be home from University with more time to work on the site. Yay for more time! New Stuff: Don't forget there's a Pictures and Captions Competition ! Beastbot has sent in a Botcon 2008 Report, complete with photographs. You can read it here! Due to lack of entries, the deadline for the Mystery Fan Fiction Challenge has been extended to August. Please participate so BWINT can have another successful competition! Several members have joined several Fanclubs, including the Dinobot, Airazor and Depth Charge clubs. Also, congrats to Daughter of Darkness for her recent adoption of TM2 Dinobot. Sapphirehas exams in the month of May and June so updates again might be a bit delayed. New Stuff:

of the BWINT Newsletter, so it'll be stalled until I get it. Hopefully
it'll be ready this coming weekend. Sorry about the lack of one
last month -- being in South Africa and all. >_>

15 September 2007 I realize it has been a long time since the site was properly updated. I would like to apologize to everyone who visits the site for the unexplained delay. For three full months I have been without Internet at home and it has been impossible for me to update consistently. I thank you for your patience during this period. These last several months have given me time to think about my feelings towards running this site and I have decided on some changes, which can be read in further detail here. Please note that due to these changes, I will be taking full responsibility for the site, including fan art, so all content is to be submitted to myself, Sapphire, in future. As there's been a three month lapse in updates,
it's quite possible some content submitted to the site has been
lost. If you sent in anything and it's not displayed in this update,
I kindly request that you re-submit it. My inbox has been swamped
with emails these past few months and I may have missed a few
site-related ones. If I have, I do apologize. New Stuff: The Botcon 2007 page has been launched. Currently, there are two different accounts of the event and a page of photographs. If you have written a Botcon report or have some photos you'd like to share, please send them in. The Pictures and Captions Competition has been updated with entries. However, it is possible some entries were lost over the past few months, so if you submitted a caption, check that it's up there because the poll for the competition will be going up shortly. There are also some additional pics 'n caps on the third page of the section. Shadowheart submitted some more trivia to the Beast Wars Trivia page. There's a brand new fanclub for Terrorsaur, which you can see here. There's a Ravage fanclub in the works but the page needs content. If you want to join this club, submit your reasons for admiring the character, or send in some fan art or fan fiction that features Ravage in a primary role. Email all content here. My apologies for the delayed update. I fully intended to update as regularly as possible upon my return, but I was struck down by a severe, recurring neck pain which meant I needed to avoid the PC. I am still in pain, so I don't know when the next update will be (this one has taken a lot of work in short stints and the assistance of a friend to get done) but hopefully it will mend soon. An update on the forum situation: Miss Special
has put in extra security features which seem to be filtering
out the spambots. Many thanks to her for all her hard work to
make the forums a nicer place. New Stuff: This is a reminder about the current Fan Fiction Challenge . There are now four fics, which means the competition is definitely on. If you'd like to try your hand at winning the prize that's up for grabs, you need to email your fanfic before the end of the month! If any BWINT visitors are attending Botcon '07 or are considering attending the BWINT Gathering , please let me know so we can organize meeting up. The more the merrier! There's a new general poll

30 April 2007 At the time of this update, the forums are undergoing
an upgrade. If there are glitches with it over the next few days,
please bear with us; the upgrade is to combat the growing spambot
problem. On another note, updates will roughly be every weekend
(and the fan art update will stay on Saturdays). However, whenever
I am bogged down and can only update during the week, I will let
people know an update has occurred then by means of the Update
mailing list (which you can sign up for on the main page of the
site.) New Stuff: There are a few new bloopers added to season 1 and 2 on the BW Mistakes and Animation Oddities page. As I've not really been around to promote it, I have decided to extend the deadline for the current Fan Fiction Challenge 'til the end of May. Currently there are two entries, which you can read here. If you are a writer who submitted a fanfic for the Challenge and it is not listed at this page, please email me an let me know. I encourage everyone to try their hand at the challenge this year. After all, there is a prize to be won! The Transformers Conventions page has been updated with the dates and venues of TF cons around the world, taking place this year. 21 April 2007 Hey everybody! Sapphire here. I'm back to updating
after a long and much-needed break from site stuff. I want to
thank Miss Special and everyone who assisted her during the last
few months. They have done a fantastic job and kept the site running
smoothly in my absence. I have a few small announcements to make.
One is that I am going to be addressing the problems with the
Beta Reader system; I am aware that many writers have sent fanfics
to beta readers and heard nothing. If it's been weeks since you
submitted a fic and you STILL haven't had anything back, please
RESEND them to me and I will make sure they get edited and uploaded.
A few readers have been very busy and without Internet so there's
been a break down in communication. I will be revamping the system
soon. Secondly, the forums have been seeing a lot of spam bots
of late and we have temporarily jacked up security there. We will
be working on installing an effective system of filtering them
out, as currently our admins are overloaded. If you do see some
dodgy posts by strange new members, you're encouraged to avoid
their threads until an admin deletes them. Thirdly, there will
be a different updating system from now on. Instead of cramming
everything into a Saturday, I am going to update as and when I
have time (that also applies to Miss Special and the art update).
That might mean 2 or 3 small updates in one week, or one large
update after a week or two. I have a very busy schedule so fitting
in updates will be a challenge, but I will do the very best I
can to make them as regular as possible. If anyone has any content,
comments or questions concerning the site, please feel free to
email me at sapphire@bwint.net New Stuff: There's a new fanclub for Quickstrike. It's pretty small right now with only 4 members, but if you're a fan of that crazy cowboy fuzor, you can sign up by emailing me a list of reasons why you like the dude. As I've not really been around to promote it, I have decided to extend the deadline for the current Fan Fiction Challenge 'til the end of May. That, and we also don't have enough entries to constitute a competition. The fic challenge is a nice, easy general one: write an Action Adventure. I know there are a lot of talented and enthusiastic writers out there who could come up with a great fic, so I encourage you all to try your hand at it -- after all, there is a prize to be won in this particular challenge! Some pictures and captions have been added to page 3 of that section. Jagna has also submitted several of her own pics and caps which can be viewed at her section, also linked on the Pictures and Captions pages. A Beast Wars blooper was added to the season 3 section of the BW Mistakes and Animation Oddities page. There's a new general poll

7 October 2006 Well, I'm back, and with a new laptop too. I have come back to a TON of work and matters were not helped when transferring stuff from my old laptop to my new laptop took several hours due to disc read errors, faulty flash drives and lurking viruses. So! This update there'll be no fics (it's 8pm and I started this morning, I haven't even been outside, to give you an idea of how hard I've been working on this all) but there will be Botcon reports! Updates will (hopefully) continue as normal from next week. In the mean time enjoy/envy the Botcon goodness linked below! 19 August 2006 Mega update today (although not in terms of fics and art). I've spent weeks setting some of this stuff up! New Stuff: Those of you who entered Bwint via the main page
would have noticed two new tools! One is the Bwint.net web browser
toolbar! - Download that and you can access Bwint easily from any webpage! It has links this page, the entrance page and the forum, and it also has a search tool, pop-up blocker and can be easily configured to check your email. Check it out! The next tool is the Search Site tool. This will make finding certain things on this site a lot easier. Trying to find a review or a fanfic you read, but cannot remember WHERE on the site you saw it? The search tool will make life easier! You can always find this tool on the main page. Extra Cool Alert!: And perhaps the most exciting addition to the site this week is Depth Charge as our new mascot. If you go to his Fan Club page, you will hear a message from the fish himself! And yes, that IS David Sobolov voicing him. The privilege was gained by winning a voice-recording-for-charity auction. You can thank yours truly for that, and of course Mr.Sobolov! As if that wasn't enough, to celebrate you can now purchase a Depth Charge shirt from the site's store! At the moment, the design is only on a woman's t-shirt, but that can easily be shifted to a men's shirt of your choice. Just drop me an email and I'll organize it for you. 30 July 2006 I have returned. I have good news, too. The site has raised enough money to pay for its web hosting this year. However, if you were planning on donating, it would be awesome if you still did, as extra money would go towards keeping it going yet another year and perhaps affording some prizes for Fan Fiction challenges etc. Having money in the site's bank account opens up a whole lot of fun possibilities for it, so keep the support coming and the next year could be our best yet. Any queries about donations should be directed to myself or Hacker. New Stuff: There are a number of new entries for the Pictures and Captions competition. It's open one more week, so send in your captions soon if you want to take part! Omicron the Ice Queen has sent in some awesome pics of the 10 seconds cut from "Nemesis: Part 2". 8 July 2006 The Beta Reader system so far has proved a success. However, there are a small amount of fics that I'm still waiting for from the Readers, so if your fic is not up this update, wait 'til next week, and if it's not up then, email me and let me know. If you have entered this challenge, I ask that you please check the list to make sure that your entry hasn't been overlooked, which is possible since two people have been running the site off and on for the last couple of months. 2 July 2006 Sapphire's back! After being crazy busy, then away for a while, then suffering a neck injury, I kinda fell behind on all that's been happening at my own site. This week and next weekend I will be adding everything I've got stored, but if I have forgotten a submission or two, please resend it to me. Many thanks goes to Miss Special for taking care of things in my absence! New Stuff: There are quite a few new additions to the Pictures and Captions section. Check out page 3. Some of the Beast Warrior Fan Clubs have been updated. Important: The Fan Fiction Submission system has undergone a massive change. Because I'm just too busy these days to read and check every entry sent in (and Bwint gets sent a lot each week!) I've now put up a page of Beta Readers. 10 June 2006 No update this week. Sorry. It's just that, between working nine days straight and looking at another six day stretch ahead of me (ending the day before I go on my trip), I'm tired. I know this means there probably won't be an update for a few weeks, but I just don't have it in me at the moment. (And no, my work isn't trying to kill me, one of my coworkers is out of commission and I happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when people were trying to figure out who would take her shifts.) But this week isn't completely without new content. Sapphire has put together a report for her experience at Auto Assembly.
3 June 2006 I'm going to be on vacation from June 16-25, so there won't be updates during that time. 13 May 2006 Important announcement: Miss Special is taking over the site for awhile. Please send submissions and other site-related things to her at miss_special@bwint.net. ------ This update took me an entire day. -_- All submissions sent on Friday are going up next update. New Stuff: There's a new entry in the Pictures and Captions section, with lots more promised for next week. The IDW Beast Wars Comics section has been updated with more images now and a review for the fourth in the Gathering series. A few more BW bloopers and animation oddities have been sent in. I've added flags to the top left hand corner of fan fiction writers' fanfic or main sections. I did this simply to be a nice addition to the International feel of this site. I wasn't sure of the nationalities of some of the writers so if you're one of them and your section is missing a flag, be sure to let me know (tell my your nationality!) and I'll add the flag. If I've put the wrong flag on your page, or if you are very strongly and proudly a dual citizen of two countries, then please let me know and I'll do my best to correct things. I hope everyone enjoys this little extra!

A few more BW bloopers and animation oddities have been sent in. Mairilyn has submitted an episode review for Power Surge, which has been added to the Episode Reviews page. 22 April 2006 Because I got sent 90% of the update material on Friday evening, I decided to post-phone the update until next weekend. Gives me time for a short break, too. I have, however, updated the Pictures and Captions sections, including adding captions to the competition. I am also going to use this opportunity to announce that as of next week, I am only going to accept pictures and captions of a certain standard. I used to get sent in quality pictures that at least raised a smile, but these days I'm not getting sent images that are even remotely funny. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but at the risk of filling the Pictures and Captions section with rubbish, I am going to only accept pictures and captions that are actually good. Be sure to check out the update next weekend, as I will (all things going smoothly) be opening up a new section at BW International! Watch this space!

8 January 2006 The results of the 2005 Fan Fiction Awards have been uploaded. Changes to the fics and fic pages of winners will be made during the next week. --- 7 January 2006 Hooray for the first update of 2006! And what a way to start the year, with a big update and the Fan Fiction Awards of 2005 upon us! On Sunday the 8th of this month, at 1pm Florida (USA) time, the winners of the annual fic awards will be announced in an AIM chat. The results will be posted after the ceremony the following week.
