A Predacon born of Dinobot's DNA and part of Rampage's spark, Transmetal 2 Dinobot served a dual purpose, one being an extremely efficient and powerful warrior, and as an inhibitor to Rampage. When Megatron beckoned, TM2 Dinobot would pull out his (TM2 DB's) spark and and give it a squeeze, which would then put Rampage in extreme pain. The clone was actually markedly different from the original, being far less honor-bound. He initially acted like a generic Predacon, but later showed some personality, especially after Rampage was killed and TM2 DB had his spark all to himself. If the original Dinobot was anything to go by, Megatron probably should've thought twice before cloning him again. During the final battle between the Maximals and the Megatron-controlled Decepticon warship Nemesis, TM2 Dinobot not only gave the Maximals extremely helpful intelligence about a shuttle in the Ark, but his final act of defiance bought the Maximals time to use the shuttle to being down the Nemesis. In the end, TM2 DB chose to go down with the failing warship, dying with honor, just as his predecessor had. Quote: "I AM the plan."
