Rhinox is one of the most cherished characters in the Beast Wars. He's the brains of the bunch, the scientist and medic, the guy who figures out the puzzles and steps into help when Optimus is unable to. Without his wisdom and contribution of sentinel to the Beast Wars, the Maximals would have had a very difficult time surviving. Part of the original Maximal crew, Rhinox stayed in his original mode from season 1 right until the end of season 3. He's intelligent, calm and collected, but don't underestimate his fighting capabilities! Rhinox has two mean chain guns of doom which he whips out only when he has to. It is also wise not to mess with this usually gentle giant when he's in a bad mood! Some of Rhinox's best contributions were giving the Axalon its defense shield, known as sentinel. He saved Airazor and brought Optimus back from the dead to rescue them when they were about to be vaporized by Megatron. He also rescued Rattrap from being crushed under Megatron's grip and at the end of the Wars, he flew the Ark's mini shuttle through the Nemesis, stopping Megatron from destroying the Ark itself and ultimately putting an end to his evil. Rhinox was put under pressure to lead, or help Rattrap lead, when Optimus was not around to do so. He did a marvelous job on all occasions, always managing to keep a level head in difficult situations. A much-loved character, Rhinox will always be fondly remembered. Quote:
