second in command of the Predacons, a blind loyalist, a powerful
force of flaming destruction,
and an enemy with little regard for his own safety; it's
no wonder he lasted all the way up until the end of the Beast
Wars! We
first meet this powerful Predacon in "Spider’s Game".
He was intent on protecting the ‘colony’ which was his
stasis pod. His defective
logic circuits gave this character a unique twist which is loved!
Inferno eventually took on the role as Megatron’s sub-commander
after the death of Scorpinok. His sheer determination and his
selfless loyalty to Megatron made him a nearly unstoppable force
of Predacon power! Even
when transmetals had appeared on ancient Earth he was still a
powerful enemy for the Maximals.
Even at the lowest moments for the Predacons he still believed
that his ‘queen’ would be victorious and gave the suggestion of
finding a new base. How
ironic is it that even with his blind loyalty he was destroyed
by his ‘queen’, left to the
early humans in pieces on the ground.
With his great power and great loyalty he will be remembered by Beast Wars fans forever!
