I am confused

Ok I have not seen all Beast Wars episodes (Most of first season, hardly of second and some of third and fourth) anyway I am confused how can:
a: Megatron and Optimus Primal find G1 Megatron and Optimus Prime when they are on ancient earth (Never saw full episode only the part were they find optimus and megs)
b: How can Starscream posses Wazpinator when Starscream wasnt created yet (yet alone dead). (Only read about episode)
c: how did they stop their robot forms from getting destroyed by the energon on earth. (Forgot how)

first of all: welcome to the board!!!

and i know how you feel. i too, only previously saw most of season 1 and 2 and hardly of 3 (fourth season? huuuuh???? there are only three!!), but if you go o youtube and type in beast wars you wll find most of the eps there, although you will need to browse through several pages, but ts good all the same!

A: yes, they did find both of them but in diff episodes. Optimus Prime: the agenda pt 3; megatron: master blaster...both descendants carry the originals' spark for a while (there have been a lot of qus as to whether or not the orig megatron got his spark back, but thats another conspiricay waiting to be cracked by numerous fanfics and alternate beast machines sub-plots...which btw sux noodles) either way, both of them got spanking new bods after the mergence of the two sparks, which made them all-powerful for one episode and then were capable of getting their asses kicked by the other characters...lol soz long answer...

B: the starscream thing....if you havnt seen the episode then u must know that starscream explains to the predacons that his spark avelled undestroyed through sapce and went throughthe exact same transwarp anomalie the maxs and preds did...although it is a god qu, i used to wonder that myself...anyway its al to to with space and time travel. its possible starscreams spark travelled through the universe for as long as it took for the maximals and predacons to come into existence...does that help?

C: their beast modes....create a defensive shield against the high amount of energon on earth. their robot bodies couldn't handle that much, and so by merging with an organic life form it put their robot bodies at less risk...
plus, in season 2, the transwarp surge either destroyed or stabilized the energon deposits on earth making it safe(r) to stay on robot mode...ie they were transformed (hehe

) into stable and usable energon cubes, hence why megs sent Tarantulas of all ppl to excavate a store of them...

i hope that answers your questions. but if i'm wrong in any way im sure the others on this site will correct me!

EDIT: i've just re-read your question Aand just gottit, sorry...

A rewrite: the autobots and decepticons (sp???) went through a wormhole thingy that got them around earth's orbit...the nemesis shot down the ark (and vise-versa) and they landed in a volcano (the ark) and in the ocean (nemesis)...you would find out in these eps: ark- agenda pt 3, optimal situation; nemesis- nemesis pt 1+2. all autobots and decepticons that were aboard the ark (which i think was all of them, even megatron) were sent into emergency stasis for 4million years it is revealed in agenda 3. blackarachnia explains in that same ep that the volcano they laned in will erupt in 1984 and the autobots and decepticons will begin the Great War...ooooo...
of course megatron (BW) trys to muck everything up by trying to destroy Optimus Prime the 'great leader' in order to enure the defeat of the autobots and the domination of the predacons (as im sure you've read)...and that goes on pretty much throughout season 3, megatron trying to slag the autbots yadayada evil shall prevail blabla...wont work lalala...

Greetings, I am here to (once again) answer the question as to what happened to the Original Megatron's spark. SPOILIER ALERT!!!

As you probably already know, Megatron remembered that Optimus Primal got his Optimal power from Prime's spark (ala Optimal Situation) so in Master Blaster, Megatron used Primal's body (Quickstrike was able to control him using an exo model of the body and a device Tarantulas was able to implant into Primal (this is when he now has the codes to the Ark btw)) to get into the Ark, and 'mingled' his spark with his ancestor's thus, ENTER THE DRAGON!

Unfortunately, the writers have to sometimes cut out stuff to save time (and money) on shows. Beast Wars was no exception as they cut out at least two different things, and entire episode (Dark Glass, explaining exactly how DB reverted back) and the answer to everyone's question. You see, there was a scene after Nemisis crashed back into the ocean where Optimal Optimus forced the Original Spark out of Dragon Meg's body and back into the Original's.
(however, it is fun to see people's imagination go to use to explain a different reasoning of G1 Meg's spark)

Jagna is half right. Yes, Starscream's spark did travel through space for a long time. However, it went through a timewarp and travelled to Prehistoric Earth time, the same time when the Beast Wars was taking place. How he knew their names was simple as well, his Spark entered the Predacon's computer system before possessing Waspinator, that's how he knew the names of the Predacons and the 'Mighty Megatron' lol, after teaming up with Megatron, it's obvious that Megs would inform his new leutenent (sp?) of the enemies names and arm him with knowledge of them before any plans to strike.

sorry...not many ppl like tht show as much as bw here...or at all. i think as a seperate show, even then a vit tedious, is ok, but a crappy continualtion to our wonderful Beast Wars...

Yeah characters changed a bit but frankly that happens. Even when the changes are things we don't like and no one ever gives me a good reason why folks wouldn't react like that when put in the extreme situations they find themselves in during BMac. Remember, crisis changes folks in sometimes unpredictable ways.

I didn't like the look of some of the characters (namely Blackarachnia and Rattrap) an' the whole, "techno-organic spiritual" thing had me for a loop. It's not 'Beast Wars', though. I mean, Beast Machines was more like "Beast Run Away And Hide" than it was "Beast Wars".

It's a stand-alone. They should've made a BW season 4, but that's how the world spins, m'dear...

Yeah. BM is good as a series with all the references to G1 and cool CG and whatnot but like everyone understands it is not a worthy successor to BW.

Anyhoo, I'm on holidays and willing to rant when I mosey back. Have fun.

Also, Hi to Dino and make sure you watch the entire series. Buy it from ebay, download it, have friends reenact it with a sock puppet theatre. just make sure you fill this hole soon. You will be much happier for the experience.

ya ya i dont MIND beast machines

its just the plotline was a bit absurd, even though i usually like that kind of spiritual stuff. i thought it was not bad at first,but as i kept watching it and thought about it more, it deteriorated to 'meh'.

its ok for a watch every now and then. i watch watever i hav downloaded when i dont have much better to do...usually in school on my laptop!

should prob b studyin..but i love to watch bw then as well

i have no (or very ver very very little) doubt that if there was a poll her, choose between
a - beast wars
b - beast machines

...enough said...

like i said its good enough as a seperate series, but like Silver said, not a worthy spin-off. they never are. the only exception is beast wars...but that was just bloody genius! GO BOB & LARRY!

OK Dino here's what you do. Grab a copy of Season 1. Grab any one of your friends who don't appreciate the series and tie them to a chair. Then play the episode Gorilla Warfare and watch their eyes widen in realisation of how foolish they truly were. Or look unimpressed in which case feel free to deal with them in whichever manner you deem necessary
