Iconic forum OCs?

I had a brief thought about the most well known/famous transformers that Hasbro created (OP and Megs). Then I had this idea.

Why don't each of us members make a realistic OC which would be an icon for the forum? Like..OOP makes an OC, I make an OC and some others do the same and we can group these OCs as a huge team.

What do you guys think?

Okay ummm...it's like uhh...take Transformers as an example. Please excuse me since I suck at words.

What character comes to anyone's mind even those who know nothing about Transformers? Optimus Prime.

Everybody knows that he's an Autobot. He's like an iconic character of Hasbro including Megatron. So what I'm suggesting is that we could make Hasbro-standard beastie OCs, draw their design and stuff and call them something like "THE BWINT TEAM" etc. These OCs are the ones that will represent (not sure if it's the right word to use) our community/forum.

It's just a thought so yeahhhhhhh....I'm somewhat into this idea, not sure about the rest of you guys but what are your opinions?

Didn't we all kind of do that when we signed up from the board and creature our own user name...? Since most of our username's are in fact our OC's character(s)

Those OCs are meant for RPs/fanfics and other stuff. I'm saying that we should make an OC that everyone knows that it's from the beast wars forum that is super friendly, largest number of members etc. which is this forum.

This idea is a "just-for-fun" thing. If most of us likes this idea, we'll just ask Sapphire about it if she's still lurking around here.

Okay. So these new OCs are not supposed to be the OCs we already play in the rpg then? If so how will anyone know anything about them and how can they represent the site?

No no no...I give up..I suck at explanations...

I'll give you a scenario:
When somebody who knows very little of TF and sees an Optimus merchandise. What would the first thing that comes in his mind? Transformers.

That's why I got this idea. It's a for-fun- thing. Nothing important. If you guys don't wanna do it, it's fine although the ocs could be used for comics and stuff.

So you are suggesting a single mascot for the forum then, or one from each team? And it's supposed to be a brand new character, correct?

One brand new and hasbro-standard OC from each player. These OCs will be the one and only mascot team.
