I wanted to print it out for a poster but my main computer's broken. I'm not sure if the laptop could connect to the printer.

Depends on how old your printer or laptop are. Generally anything with a USB cord will work, and most printer drivers can be downloaded either from the internet or from the machine. Infact, alot of modern printers today will even work from a cellphone,wireless connection, or just from a thumbdrive or Camera card.
