The Data
Hello. I had posted a story on this thread some years back, so allow me to explain at least a little bit why it isn't here anymore. For a long time--in my writing of fan fiction and in my watching, reading and general consideration of a number of different shows, books and other forms of stories--I had been sinning and making my temptation towards these sins ever greater. I have been done with writing fan fiction since mid-2014, but I have since realized that I need to go one more step and take these stories down, so that they're isn't this sort of contingency in play where I can tell myself, "well, maybe one day everything will be fine, and I'll be able to go back to those stories." That is still temptation. That is still my looking to these stories, even if I'm not in the process of writing. I have to let my idols--and the temptations to which they lead--go.

I understand... you are, after all, a predacon.

Good job, I really enjoy detective-like stories. Since this isn't the first time that you've written Steelclaw as a member of the Axalon, are you foreshadowing his conversion in the RPG?

Thanks a lot. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Dialogue is normally one of my weakest points, and with this chapter having so much of it, I was hoping it wouldn't turn out awkward. Or maybe it turned out awkward but you still liked it...
And which way do you mean by conversion? The fact that he's a Predacon in the role play, or the idea that he might somehow become a Maximal?
Although I might end up changing my mind, it seems important for me that Steelclaw never goes to the Maximals in the role play. As far as the first possibility goes, this does correlate to his current standing in the role play in the fact that if one specific event in this story happened differently, his arc would fall exactly in line with the role play's- he'd be with Megatron, never even gone in a stasis pod, etc.
So I guess he's the same character, but the way things played out on Cybertron are considered differently in my mind between this series and our game.
