TMII Blackarachnia

I know it's been a while since I've posted any fanart here, so I thought I'd post this one since I recently drew her last weekend. In fact, I think the last thing I posted here was my painting of TM Megatron. I've been working on another painting, too, which I may or not give to Garry at this year's MechaCon. It might make the other actors want one of their BW characters and that would be a lot of work.

Anywho, here she is, Miss Arachnia. The first female I've drawn from BW. My reference was from the episode Master Blaster (one of my favorites). Tada!

It looks better in the smaller view because pencil is just a pain to scan and keep good resolution on the computer. It's even better looking in person, though.

... Once more I have reason to be jelous of someone else's art skillz. Very nice OOP. :) Very dynamic pose; it looks like you caught her in mid-leap. I evny people who can make the characters they draw look like their moving. Mine always turn out looking really stiff. :p

Anyway, thumbs up! 8)

I've just gotta ask, in case I hadn't done so before... where'd you learn to draw? 8)

If you're ever lucky enough to go to Iacon One, definitely show that to Venus Terzo if you can. 8)

You're right, the smaller size does increase its appeal. Darn scanners anyways!

Heh, it still looks very good, and I still wish I could draw like that!

Awe, you guys rock! ^.^
Very dynamic pose; it looks like you caught her in mid-leap.
Really, Stel? LoL I should've added some shading under her feet, then. Heh. Oops. She's positioned like that because she had just fallen and landed on her feet, her body facing Optimus, her head turned back toward Quickstrike. And thank you so much!

LoL I don't think you have, Outty. And to be honest... I can't really remember how I learned to draw like that. o.O I'd say I started with the basics with all the Lion King drawings I did way back when, which probably helped immensely with developing the skills for it. As for the shading... I don't know. I think I might have developed it when I started drawing BW characters because I was determined to make them look like them from the show. LoL
If you're ever lucky enough to go to Iacon One, definitely show that to Venus Terzo if you can.
I would be more than happy to, but alas, I cannot make it to Iacon One this year. :( Too bad I couldn't just e-mail it or something.

Thank you, Outty, for your comments. ^.^

Thanks, CM! Oh, I know you wish that. :P But I bet there's something you can do that I can't and I'd wish I could. :D

Oh, I realize we each have our own talents. It doesn't stop me from admiring the things that other people can do though. :)
