It's been a while...Things sure have changed.

All right before anyone says anything, allow me to speak-err-type… I was a stupid, little teen loner. all right, I already know that. Am I perfect? Heck no! No one is. Did I have to be stupid and say SOME things in my exit post? Naw. Did I learn from this? Indeed I did.

Everyone was allowed to say whatever they wanted, some were hurtful and that’s fine. If that’s how people really did feel, than so be it. Did any of it really have to do with Beast Wars? No, not really.

What was the reason behind all this? It was a mixture of everything…still no excuse, I do understand that. I failed at school, my parents divorce, I was abused by a few ex-boyfriends, kicked out, beaten by a family member, cop involvement, etc, etc. Pity. Do not want, understanding friends? Yes of course. I would hope people would not poke fun or do anything of that nature. Are some friendships dead or perhaps injured? Probably, it takes two people to heal those. I’m game as long as they are too.

I don’t think I will be the little post-a-holic like I used to be, since it has been years. I guess I could read posts, but I want people to know I’m alive. Some may dislike I’m back, that’s a bummer, but oh well I suppose.

But that’s my little posty-thingy, I guess if you have any questions, I will gladly answer. Here, or shoot me a PM or a email. I missed everyone, I bet there are a ton of new members that have no idea what I’m talking about. LOL. Sorry guys.

It sounds like things have changed a lot for you, too. How are you these days?

Thanks Nurann, I have noticed some have vanished or some new MODS and everything. Things have been going better, well a lot better than what they were a few years ago. I miss this place, it was home for the longest time. I am remembering how to do stuff again, IE: How to get a avatar...lol. I never knew how to do that. Things can always be better.

What about you? It has been about 3 years...

. Lol yeah, this place is a comforting haven, if not outright addictive! I suspect it's why we've survived this long. Actually, we've had a recent surge of return-ees. Some might have wandered off again, though... MM, avatars. I'm missing mine right about now... my web host died, and I don't feel like tracking down a new space for my tea cups lol.

True, but I've recently taken to the Buddhist pov of accepting the moment for what it is. And at this moment, I'm enjoying the fact another old friend has returned

3 already? To use an old but accurate cliche, time sure does fly! I've been in college now for the last 2, studying holistic health care. I'm doing another part time year with that before hopefully digging in to a psych degree. Either that, or a working trip to learn to hang glide in Australia is sounding mighty appealing right now. I've pretty much given up writing except for when a plot bunny decides to gnaw viciously on my aft, and now I paint. Recently won myself a wicked looking medal with the Wings of Honour symbol on it for my first painting

What else have you been up to the past few years?

Let us know if you need any help catching up on what's been going on. The community is still a pretty friendly place to hang out, and I'm sure there are still plenty of people here that would be happy to lend a hand!

Yeah it's been 3, cause I turned 16 and now I'm 19, well turned in March. So a new 19. lol.

I guess time has sort of flown by, though some days that dragged on forever I guess that means that I just missed this place to much. I admit it was not right to up and leave like that. I learned from my mistakes, and hopefully can put the past behind us.

I have done a lot of thinking. That may sound lame, but I have. I finally graduated high school. A trimester later than everyone else in my class, but that's what happens when I skipped school.

Right now I'm trying to find a job here in Minnesota, though right now it seems impossible. No one wants to hire, or if they do, I don't have the skills they need.

But oh well, can dwell on that. Just need to try harder I guess.

LOL. Nurann I loved your avatar! He he. I actually posted some work on ff.net, and actually some of the reasons I left this board are hidden within the writing. I thought it was a unique and interesting way to explain things.

College, huh? Maybe one day I'll go, been thinking about trying to become a writer still, and also, a cop or detective...

I seem to vaguely recall something of penguins in AIMOO, but the waffle-throwing ones are definitely newer.

Oh yes, I almost forgot. We have waffle-throwing penguins now. And an official greeting regarding said penguins, as well as our nut content. Plus the occasional pillow fight.

What have I missed covering? Slag, I feel old. Events are starting to blur together like some sort of messed-up wormhole...

By nut did you mean crazies or food? Because whichever one you meant, you missed the other. Of course, it might have been a dually inclusive "nut", and therefore, you would have, by definition, covered both aspects.

Aside from that, um... I can't think of anything new, no. I feel like I'm missing something- like there was something similar to the pillow fights. I don't know.

Welcome back Darkshadow!

Yeah, three years really is a long time. We've had a lot of people come in, and a lot of people move out. Some gradually, some sudden. Life goes on! But I'm glad that you're back, and I'm glad to see that you're doing better than before. What you've faced seems to have only made you stronger. And if you think that Nurann is old, I just turned 23 earlier this month. Ouch, right? LOL.

I hope that things continue to look up for you! If you need someone to chat to on AIM, I'm available there, however, I promise you that I'll be very distracted. I'm usually talking with about three people at once, and one of whom is on webcam because I can't see him every day otherwise. But anyway! I hope that you have a great time, get to know some of the new faces, and enjoy the ride! Welcome back!
