Oh, and because I can never say it enough times.
PLUTO IS A PLANET. IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN A PLANET. IT ALWAYS WILL BE A PLANET. PRECISE DEFINITIONS BE DAMNED. PLUTO IS A FREAKING PLANET. NOW AND FOREVER!
Ahem, yes. Obligatory "Pluto Is a Planet!" Rant is now complete.

I hear you Razor, I hear you. In fact, in 10th grade Chemistry, me and few other students went against another group in a graded debate of our choosing.
We debated about Pluto's status as a planet, and my group said Aye!
We lost the debate by the rest of the classes vote though.

I understand... you are, after all, a predacon.

isn't pluto just dubbed a dwarf planet. I mean it still is a planet, just has an adjective describing its diminuative size. Or am i missing a hidden scientific meaning...?

I thought we were friends! Of Pluto! How could you... **shakes head dissapointedly**
Oh Sure, Pluto may be small, but do we have to point out his diminuitive size all the time? Do you have any idea how that makes poor Pluto feel?
What about being one of the few planets to cross the orbit of another planet? Being off the plane of the eccliptic? Having a slightly more eccentric orbit? Do all these things relegate Pluto to "Minor" planet status? Of being a mere "Dwarf planet".
NO I SAY!
Pluto is a planet! You cannot take that away from Pluto! You can split hairs like those namby pamby "I have to be concise!" astronomers by saying "It's Dwarf Planet!" All you want but it does not change that to BE a planet is not something of the characteristics of a heavenly body (of which Uma Thurman is but one) but is a matter of the heart!
Pluto is a planet in my heart! It is a planet in my heart and my mind and my very SOUL! You cannot take that away from me by throwing cold prefixes like "Dwarf" or "Minor" in there!
Pluto! Ah that planet at the edge of the cosmos! The borderpost to the solar system! That planet that stares out into the cosmic abyss and says "THIS IS WHAT THE SOLAR SYSTEM IS MADE OF, UNIVERSE!" To which the universe replies "What, Ice?", to which Pluto looks downcast for a moment, almost seeming to deserve that dwarf planet insult until... HE RALLIES! "But I Have a Moon!" he cries before He Looks Back at the Universe and gives it the middle finger of pride!
Pluto! That planet that's waaaaaaay out there! Guardian of the Solar System, Patroller of the Great Dark Beyond and potentially the most awesome planet in Existence!
THIS. IS. PLUTO!
