Well in the case of Glowstick, it's like comparing him to Sonar. Sonar has worked on the Leviathan repairing it and other things as well, but the difference between the two is Glowstick actively carries spare parts and tools with him, wires, tubing, all sorta junk. He tries to actively repair his allies so they can get back onto the field quicker since it helps with the war effort, or just because he likes keeping his allies alive. But Glowstick also has qualities of Sonar or Tarantulus, an ambition to build things to strengthen his teammates or make his life easier. He's also rather good at that function considering he has more arms then a small manufacturing factory and high precision with his lasers.
As for who would repair Orcariner on the field. Probably depends on who is with him, Rhinox or Icebreaker. Though I do wish we had those Energon repair rays/Medic rays from War for Cybertron/TF2.. *L*

Icebreaker needs one of those... but for himself. He's fine as a medic with everyone else... except himself.

Heh, Icebreaker has the character trait of "horrible luck".
I thought more on the Medic and engineer thing.
Medics:Carry repair supplies, painkillers, life support machinery. Essentially if you have one around, your team is very unlikely to die.
Engineers: Develop weaponry, machinery, have skills in hacking, virus creating, and can perform repairs. Scientist work basically.
Medics can develop things sure, but they aren't normally as good at it unless under certain circumstances. Like Glowstick, he's not the best suited at combat, but a regular genius when it comes what he does. Icebreaker wouldn't be as good at building unique devices, but could with instruction or help from his friends.
I also pondered an incentive for those keeping the normal beast wars type. Since they're losing out on 2 points and wont be getting the transmetal features other characters are getting, maybe a 4th weapon slot should be allowed to them, since Dinobot did carry that big rifle around most of season 2, seems kinda fitting.

That would make sense. Giving normals an extra buff never hurts. You've mentioned it yourself that Rhinox sort of becomes removed from the higher tiers of the cast after Season 1. He didn't get weaker, but there are characters who were able to do what he did in battle... but better. I rewatched "Cutting Edge" and it was pretty sad to see how far Rhinox has fallen as a warrior. He can't compete with Megatron in physical combat anymore. He can't really match Megatron or Rampage in firepower/endurance. It'd kind of suck for the normal OCs to follow suit.
Speaking of stats, though, I checked the Transmetal stats for canon characters. A lot of them seem to be pretty far off. The original forms at least got corrected with the 10th anniversary release of the Beast Wars figures. When I reconstruct the list of active RPG characters, I'm just going to reuse the higher value for a canon character's stat. For example:
10th anniversary Tarantulas has Intelligence 10.
TM Tarantulas has Intelligence 4.

Lol! Even TM Waspinator was a rival for TM Tarantulas in that case
Thats weird ....

You just reminded me, you've been kind of teasing us with the secrecy of Valkyrie's spark. Is she going to stay the same (with the +3 stats) for Season 2 or will she undergo some sort of transformation that has similar power levels of transmetalization (+5 stats)?

Before I do Feralnight's status and all for her Season 2 bio I have been wondering about one thing since currently she's the only active fuzor in the RPG and others are waiting till the second season.Would she have to gain transmetal like qualities like Silverbolt did or is she fine just getting an up-grade like the non-transmetals? Though as far as I could tell Silverbolt didn't seem that much transmetal to me, save for very shiny armor in robot mode.

Good question, I've never really knew the answer to that myself. I remember that the metal hunter in "Other Visits" sent normals to the CR Chamber but Transmetals and fuzors were unaffected (relatively). A lot of sources say that Silverbolt and Quickstrike were partially transmetal but they're direct results from the Vok Buster's attack. No other fuzor that I can think of shares those same physical properties.
Since Feralnight already had her body before the explosion, I'd probably lean towards the +3 for stats. You may have to talk to biography reviewers like Blazemane or NaitoKage to get the official decision on it, though.

We already said that if you take a fuzor before season 2 you wont have the transmetal qualities. Though considering you would of had to wait til like.. November or December of this year to do that, I'm sure that would of been annoying..

Just wanted to check and make sure before I did anything,it has been a while so didn't know if that changed or not.And did a little poking around about the fuzors and not all of them had some transmetal qualities either.
