How far between the Axalon and the Predacon base?

Being a Beast Wars board, I figured you guys would know - does the series ever give any definite numbers about how far apart the Axalon and the Predacon base are? The Axalon is farther north than the Predacon base ( reference Fallen Comrades ) and somewhat west ( ref. Equal Measures, assuming Transformers use north-oriented maps, which they seem to. )

In Equal Measures, the Maximals claim to have mapped out the energon deposits for five-hundred metres around, which isn't far, but to be fair, they haven't been there long. Then Cheetor goes and checks the Predacon energon survey maps, which line up with the Maximals ones, which had better mean the Predacons had much more extensive surveys. If they had equal or lesser maps, that means the Axalon is a kilometre away. A brief search of Wikipedia isn't giving me any idea of the range of human-built artilliary, but a kilometre isn't a long distance to a Transformer.

So ... help?

I'd say between a kilometer and a mile sounds about right, from the map of the 2 bases and the energon vein under both bases shown in "Equal Measures". Though you know how minor details like these can change throughout the series to fit the writers' purposes.
