Who voted for Dinobot?

Alright, in the episode Chain of Command, a secret ballot was held to see wether Rattrap or Dinobot would lead the maximals when it was believed Optimus was dead. It ended up a tie. Rattrap asked who voted "for da' choppa'" and Rhinox explained it was a secret ballot. The question is who do you think voted for Dinobot? It seems kind of obvious that Rattrap and Dinobot voted for themselves, so the my question is was it Cheetor or Rhinox?

Also, out of the two of them, who would you want to lead?

O.k., my answer is this. I think Rhinox voted for Rattrap and Cheetor voted for Dinobot. This is because in all the episodes, Rhinox seems to be of the same opinion as Optimus, especially since they were old friends. Optimus (and my argument is, consequently Rhinox) was always disagreeing with Dinobot. Dinobot's too eager to scrap Megatron, Dinobot's too set on fighting too the bitter end, etc. I don't think Rhinox would be very happy if Dinobot led. Also later in the episode, Rhinox backs up Rattrap with his decision for a battle with Megatron outside.

Cheetor on the other hand doesn't seem like he'd be one to agree with Dinobot either. Still, there are a few episodes where we see Cheetor is Dinobot's closest ally like in Equal Measures and there's also Gorilla Warfare where Cheetor wants to go and front on attack the preds. While Dinobot does say this is a horrible plan, I always seem to think Dinobot had no problem with this kind of strategy, after all it does have plenty of honor. In fact the only other episode where he full on disagrees with the idea of meeting enemies in full out battle is the one this whole question is talking about, Gorilla Warfare. So while not even Cheetor seems to be someone who'd vote for Dinobot, it's either him or Rhinox and he seems a lot more likely to have agreed with Dinobot.

As for who I'd want to be leader, personally I'd choose Rhinox, but since I can't, I guess I'd pick Rattrap. While Dinobot is strong and has advantageous knowledge about the predacons, one episode keeps sticking up in my mind. In Possesion, after Optimus pulls the maximals out of the invaded Axalon, Dinobot says they should've stayed, fought to the bitter end. Optimus had the sense to pull out and by the end of the episode, the maximals lived to see another day and defeat Starscream, while Dinobot would've had the maximals fight to the end and have all the maximals die. This points out a reason I wouldn't want Dinobot to lead and a reason I would want Rattrap to. Rattrap has the sense to be afraid.
Although, to tell the truth, Rattrap did look rather shaky as a leader in that episode. But in the end he made the right decisions and the maximals survived, getting Optimus back.

I personally think it was Cheetor who voted for Dinobot. Rhinox never seems to get along with the raptor and has even grabbed him by the throat to put the fear of God into him. lol.
I wouldn't mind having Dinobot lead in certain situations. He seemed to kinda be the leader in the episode where Optimus went berserk and he actually was smart enough not to be like. 'YEAH LET'S ALL GO MASSECRE THE PREDS!" when Optimus went loco.
I wouldn't want Rattrap or Cheetor to be the leader because well Rattrap doens't like the responcibility and Cheetor is too immature. (and a bone head in beast machines) . Rhinox would be a good leader which Optimus even said in the one episode (though Rhinox declined) so yeah out of the them all Rhinox would be the best. Dinobot would be if all the other Maimals were samuri like him and didn't care if they lived or died. lol

hmmm...well to throw in my two cents I always assumed Rhinox voted for Dinobot as Cheetor spoke up about voting for Rat Trap and I just don't see him to have said that without obviously lying. That's about all I got on that as I like Rat Trap have trouble thinking of who would vote for chopper face.

Beyond that, as was said Rhinox is/should be the de facto leader when Optimus is gone. In fact he kinda takes charge in various episodes when Oppy is out or busy. Especially when he's in a bad mood.

i always thought it was cheetor. no particualar reason, i just had a gut feeling. one possible reason, is that maybe cheetor and rattrap were still in the 'o yeah? ill show you' stage of their friendship. meh. and cheets is always wanting to dive right in. maybe it was just a bad choice.

this would b a good idea for a random fic! a comedy maybe! lol!

Yep right after RT gets all annoyed and Rhinox says "It's a secret balott" he says something like. "You know I voted for you RT." Not sure the exact quote though.

Also Xellos is awesome and all who dare to say differently will feel the wraith of Zoalmagustar! (and by wraith I mean that I'll send Martinia to hang out with you.)

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought for sure that after Rhinox says no one has to say who they voted for, that Dinobot laughs and says oohoohaha. Great system your democracy.

Um, Baron Fel, do you have that episode recorded onto a tape off of tv, because the season 1 on dvd collection I have doesn't have that in the episode. Maybe dvd episodes cut a few things?

Baron, Blazemane is right, cheetor never said for who he voted for.
Went and checked it out.
But on to the topic: I think that Rhinox was the one who voted for Dinobot.
I think it's so that things are kept fair between Rattarp and Dinobot.
And, I have the feeling that he did it...

On a side note, if anyone should be leader it should really be Rhinox.
In episodes like Victory he was one who kept his cool and followed orders after Optimus told him what to do, while the others were trying to be rash
Dinobot has warriors skills, but I don't see him as an adequate leader; he just underestimates the enemy way too much.

When exactly did Dinobot underestimate the preds?

Personally, I think that Rattrap is the better field commander, but Rhinox is better at devising strategies and the such. The desk leader who kicks ass on the battlefield. Rattrap is not as smart as Rhinox, but he is quick and can think on his feet.

Dinobot doesn't underestimate the preds! he is one! he knows how they work! I still think that cheetor voted for him. in the episode before that one Dinobot gave him a pep talk though it was just to get him to do soemthing reckless. At the end it seemed he wanted Dinobot's approval as well.
