Okay, I know I told alot of you I would be attending this year, but because of my financial situation, I really can't go. Some of you have offered to pay my way out there, but I could never accept something like that. I am deeply sorry and hope I can reunite with you all soon.

Scrumble grumble rumble!!! I faxed my Botcon stuff in the other day (I think it was to the correct phone number) however it was many days later than the release. It will be somewhat annoying to miss the Hasbro tour and moreso if the TF movie is gone as well..... hmmm... oh well. It'll be cool regardless and there may be other ways to get into the movie

#Silver looks pensive and Sapphire walks in#

Sapphire: I don't want any plans involving fire.

Silver: Ohhh..... well how about...

Sapphire: NO FIRE!!

Silver: But....

Sapphire: NO!

Silver: OK....... that's it!...... FIRE!!!
It's ok sir. I'll be fine...

Just listen to your commander, bonebrain!

You WILL get into the movie, Silver-- check my post on the previous page, basically unless you pre-register at the last minute you're guaranteed in, they have PLENTY of seats. (I think they bought out a whole cineplex for the thing.)

Also, folks-- the THIRD Botcon hotel, the Marriot hotel, is now sold out. They're looking for a fourth hotel, but they need information on how many people are still left that need a room. If you need additional accommodations for BotCon '07, please email Ted Zack at ted.zack@procgroup.com so that he can help.

Oh, and sorry to hear you're not coming, VampyerBA. :( Maybe next Botcon...

YESSSS!!! NOW IS OUR OPPORTUNITY!!!... ahem.... sorry... the occasional Megs moment there.

Aww.. no VBA? Why and whatfore? (Sorry haven't read the entire thread yet). My trip may be covered in fly buys points and my birthday fund so I am willing to provide around a grand if cash is an issue. I know that Sapphire would really love to have you there. If its a timing and life thing then I fully appreciate that. I fully understand that "taking" people's money can sit uncomfortably on your shoulders, however everyone who is pledging to help will get your lovely companionship out of the deal which is something that cannot be even fathomed in dollars. This is a community and we have come together through our common interests and if we are in a position to help another, we will do so. Have a think about it. If you can't make it than I'm sure everyone who attends will miss you. Best of luck.

*whistles* Booooy Thundercracker looks nice. *sigh* Shame I had to pass him up, but that's okay.

Nurann... are you coming in at the Airport at that time? Cuz.... I'll be hitting Boston like 20 minutes before you do.

The Transformers Collectors' Club website has posted a pic of the cover for their "Timelines Summer Special" comic, which takes place in the same extended Classics universe that this year's main Botcon set is in. Here's a large high-res version of the cover:

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/53984974/

This comic will be given with the Primus package at the 'Con, or you can buy it from any comics retailer in July for $5 U.S.

For those of you who haven't been keeping up with Classics, the White Prime (Ultra Magnus), Grimlock, Actionmaster Slag, and the Minicon Swoop in the upper right, and the little black Minicon Strongarm on the lower right have already been released in stores either in the Classics line or, in Slag's case, G1.

HOWEVER, the other three are completely new, and given that they're repaints/remolds of recent toys, are VERY likely Botcon exclusives that you'll only be able to purchase at the convention. However, Pete Sinclair, one of the people in Botcon panel of contributors, has said not to expect ALL of them to be Botcon exclusives. Thus, it's very likely that at least one of them will be, but the other one or two will either be Club Exclusives later in the year or just made for the comic itself.

Regardless, here's what the three characters are, and what molds they're repaints of:

- The pink/white female Transformer is Elita-1, a repaint of Cybertron Thunderblast with possibly a new head.

- The purple/yellow truck Transformer is Huffer, a repaint of Cybertron Armorhide.

- The green Transformer behind Ultra Magnus is Springer, a repaint of Cybertron Defense Hot Shot.
