A couple art bits and a question

Unread post by Wayward »

I get a lot of traffic from Bwint - you're my #3 top referring site. I want to do something to show my appreciation, but I'm not sure what. I do weekly sketches for referring site #2, but since they're not a Transformer site, the stuff they get from me is exclusive. ( Site #1 is my home board, so they get everything anyway. ) If I did the same type of weekly doodle thing for you guys ( with Beast Warriors presumeably, ) I'd want to post them everywhere I put my fan art.

So, despite knowing that whatever sketches I liked best would end up plastered all over creation, do you want this anyway or should I try to come up with something else?

And, just so you don't leave the thread empty-handed, I made a hot tub for Megatron in the workshop. Duckie is made of Sculpty.

And, to prove I can draw, Lazorbeak. Well, pirate girl Lazorbeak. Closest thing to Beast Wars I've drawn in a while.

Wow, how kind of you, Wayward! I think you're a very talented artist and writer so I am glad that my site is helping you get the recognition you deserve. :) A weekly Beast Wars doodle sounds fantastic, thank you! I'm sure everyone here would love it. Would you like us to put it up on the Updates page every week (and consistently add it to your art section at the site?)

I don't want to make that big a deal of it. Just another fan, me. I'll set up a thread back here and leave it up to your art director which ones are worth archiving. 'S what I do at the other page. ;)

And along those lines, I badly need to update my Beast Wars refs ( I have an envelope full of print outs. ) I've already gone through the screencaps here and am looking for more. What's a good site for clear, large Beast Wars ( also Machines ) screencaps?

#snigger# doodle. #ahem# I mean greetings citizen. Welcome to the thread #heroic pose#

Excellent work there with both. Lazorbeak roxors and is very close to the work DW was doing before they were canned. Alas poor Dream Wave I knew him Horatio. DWI stuff is OK, but I was really getting into the work DW was putting out. Oh well another rant for another thread... another time. Thankfully their Beast Wars work has held up.

Well keep up the good work and don't ya be a stranger now ya hear?
It's ok sir. I'll be fine...

Just listen to your commander, bonebrain!

Yes dear...

Nice art, Wayward! I love the hot tub! XD Rubber duckies! It's so comical to hear David Kaye talk about the same thing with Megs as the fans do.

By the way, it's nice to meet you, Wayward. ^.^

I'll speak to Miss Special and see what she wants to do about it. I like your idea, though. Maybe we could put up random doodles on the Fan Art Updates page on occassion? That'd be nifty. Also, you could try www.transformersforever.com for Beast Wars screencaps. They aren't ALL very clear, but they are plentiful. Frame-by-frame captures of every episode.

I've been trying to think of something. I should have it figured out for the update.

Edit: Make that next update.

( Clicks link with trepedition. )

Oh, hey, they reorganised since I'd been there last. I'd been avoiding Transformersforever.com for years because they were an utter nightmare to navigate when I'd first encountered them. Still not perfect, but at least I can find my way around now. Time to update my ref sheets ...
