applying Beast Wars to real life

Unread post by Jagna »

now i KNOW that a lot of you have done this...dont deny it! i can look up the posts you put them in!!!

okay, i do this ALL the time...to start this thead, i hall only start with s few of mine, and you can reply with some of your own or some 'me too's! i will do the same coz there are too many things tht i do in beast wars it may scare een some of you!

il start with the obvious...SLAG! i say it all the time. i get funny looks esp from ppl who know what the alternative to melted/useless metal is! plus, i love saying it!

i also say 'by the matrix' quite a bit and OF COURSE ppl think i mean nanorobots-men-in-black-capes matrix...rrrr tht gets on my nerves. they should watch beast wars! heh

but today we were in antigone rehearsals at 8 i the morning on a weekend and im bloody sick! *blows nose and takes blue and white pills* but im playing the oart of creon, the new king of thebes
a thought struck me...this guy i have given a deep britishe accent (despit being a girl! read previous antigone post in general section for explanation...)...we have decided to make his primary costume colour purple (thanks Silver!)...he seems very in-charge and 'raaah i am the king!'...he says yes quite a few times....do you get where im going to this??? o come on!

ill tell you....

IM GOING TO PLAY MEGATRON!!! well, in my own way of course! i tried the 'yyyessss' thing in practice today, and the others loved it! there is also a part where the guard gives him bad news an i bello, 'WHAT!' with emphasis on the 'hoo-wat?' you know, the way david kaye does it? ill never measure up to him, of course (again, the gendre thing!) but im going to do my best to integrate some megatron traits! only thing, is, i dont think i can gain inspiration from a teary-eyed megatron...can i?

actually, i think david would make a good creon...anyone here read/seen antigone?

............

so...i know ur out there, come out and say it! u al have done something from BW in 'real life'...what is 'real' anyway? *goes on long self-rant and train f thoughts which everyone outside own head ignores...*

whos next?

Tarantulas laugh. Love it. Use it. Be it.

Granted, not in ordinary conversation much. But in private, I use it quite a lot.

By the way, I quite like the "Creon as Megatron" idea. Congratulations.

And your being female doesn't matter much if we take those rumors about Megatron being a drag queen seriously...

I first heard of the concept of Megatron's... unusual tastes at this place: http://www.angelfire.com/ca3/moonkitty/comedies.html
It was also mentioned in a blurb on some YouTube video about Megatron's bad luck.

I do say "by the Pit!" sometimes, but considering the friends I have... well, lets just say much weirder things have been heard.

I think it's mandatory if you're a BW fan to use "slag" every once in a while ;)

When a piece of technology bugs out on me, I tend to use "slaggin' son of a toaster!". I also use "Well that's just prime" every time I get a customer come to me without a SKU saying "it's two-something-or-other, just ring that in!" (Me: "Well that's just prime, but my till can't do that....")

What else... My computer is named "Sentinel 3"; my old purse had the Maximal symbol inked on to it (someone at the first Gathering noticed, and it gave everyone a good chuckle. Which reminds me, where'd I put that fabric paint...? ); and my suitcase has various Beast Wars drawings on it. Makes it hard to miss lol
