Hi ya all! I'm new here! Thanks to Sapphire, who've I met at FF.net, I have become a member of this wonderful site! Just like you guys, I love BEAST WARS all the way! Some of my favorite episodes are:

Feral Scream (OMG I like this one, where Cheetor becomes this sabertoothed were-cheetah Transmetal 2)

Anyway, I'm planning a huge BW fics, with some very awesome characters! I call it Coming of the Beast Storm!

It's basically a Stasis Pods crash, new members arrive fic, but with a nice mythological theme as well a good storyline! (the storyline is something I need to think of yet) But I (if allowed by Sapphire?) am going to post a COTBS character contest. A contest which will decide which characters will enter the fic, based on your votes! Of course, the contest will have rules, if some of you are interested in adding your character or making/creating a character.

Also I have already a character planned for COTBS! Who you say? It's still a secret!

I was just thinking of writing something based on Beast Wars featuring the factions Mythicons and Omnicons. The leader of the Mythicons is a one-eyed raven named Omen.

Ok guys...I've decided to show you my first character of my fic. And I've decided that 40+ pods will crash and reveal many members, many good as evil characters!

Here's my first one! Enjoy and tell what you think about him! (note: He's not yet a official character in my fic, for I didn't create the contest thread yet)

Beast Form: Lion/Megalodon (Shark body with tail, front fins, lion’s head, and back paws)
Weapon(s): Harpoon Launcher
Rank: Commander
Gender: Male
Size: Mega

Beast Color:
The Megalodon's body is gray, lion’s head is white, and mane is black.

Robot Mode:
Legs which the lion’s back paws rest, Torso has the lion head, and main fin rests on his back, while the arms have the forward fins on the sides, and the shoulders have the rest of the shark’s body.

Robot Color:
Everything is icy-blue with some purple robotic parts while the animal parts are the same.

Transformation Sequence:
The shark’s back body splits up in half and becomes the shoulders, as the lion head becomes the chest. Legs appear from under the back body. The arms appear from the shoulders, as the main fin rests on his back. Finally his mouth-plated head appears from the lion’s mane.

Personality:
He is an ocean-loving bot as well being nice and friendly, King Oceanus will rip apart any Predacons that dare endanger his comrades or try to polute the sea. You better watch out Predacons!

Expert in: Aquatic Warfare & Aquatic Explorer.

Bios:
Once a robotic commander working for the Maximal Elders themselves, he has proven to be a good swimming expert and therefore has been chosen to aid the Maximals in defeating the Predacons. His pod crashed in the nearby oceans, which was found and activated by Depth Charge who came across it, while trying to hunt down Rampage. The pod gave Oceanus, the D.N.A of two ferocious animals: The terrifiying and prehistoric Megalodon and the lion. Once online, he has been using his powerful Fuzor beast mode to hunt down any Predacons who dare to polute and kill the sea. The Maximals are blessed with his powerful aquatic warfare and explorer skills, which are even a match for the dangerous Rampage. A fine addition to the Beast Wars indeed!

I just saw how B.I.G a Megalodon was! OMG! King Oceanus is big, twice the size of Rampage and Depth Charge together!

Thanks, just wait until I create the COTBS fan character contest thread, which have like 40+ stasis pod characters to enter. But know this...only the best bot, most awesome beast mode, bios, looks (robot and beast) and weapons will be awarded to appear and get a nice role in my fic.

Thanks! Anyway do you guys think, that contest is a good idea? I told Sapphire about it, and she thought it was awesome. That way everyone can enjoy my fic, with their characters they created!

The only problem is...in which part of the forum shall I post the contest?
Of course I made some rules as well for the contest, to make sure it doesn't go out of control...

it does sound like a neat idea...but im a bit of a thicko, but i dont fully get it...do we put in our fictional characters in the contest? heh... could you explain it one more time? in stupid ppl language?

Yes fictional characters, and only fictional characters. Of course...these characters are born from one of the 50 stasis pods, which have fell down onto Earth. Everyone is free to join and enter as many characters (maybe there will be a limit...) Your character(s) get points based on the following:

1. Post your self-created bot character
(Do not post existing characters from the Beast Wars shows: BW, BW2, BWN, or BM!)

2. Your character must have the following entries,

3. Every member may enter as much characters as they like, (AS LONG IT'S MEANT SERIOUS)

4. Scores are given depending on the entries. Only these entries will be given a score: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

5. 100 = nice
200 = good
400 = great
800 = hyper
1600 = perfect
3200 = ULTRA GEAR!

(these are the points given, depending how good a entry is. The better the entry, the more points you get, the better the chance your Maximal or Predacon will get a permanent part in my fic!)

6. only 25 Maximals and Predacons are allowed to enter and be reviewed. If the count is going over the maximum, Maximal or Predacon characters with the lowest total entry scores will be terminated!

7. Characters who enter the contest, are born via Stasis Pods, so be sure to include the place of birth on Planet Earth, and who got them first..etc... Not doing it will result in a standaard GREAT score.

8. Me, and the admins are the only ones who review, although you may review as well, but yoú'll will have to PM me about it. 6 free jury places left!

9. Please stay on topic! Any questions that need to be answered, PM me about it!

10. All rules that have been put by the admins, also count here as well!

11. Have fun, and be creative! (Even the admins are allowed to enter the contest!)

12. I don't have the plot thought up yet, but if you like to submit one that you think fits Coming of the Beast Storm fic, you will get a 1000 extra bonus points. Of course only the best plot gets the bonus! (must PM the plot to me or the admins. We'll then discuss about it..fair is fair!)
