Well, now that I know that this site isn't for Beast Wars art only, I've gotten a few pics picked out to post. I'm not going to post a link to my DA page because there are some pictures in my gallery that are not appropriate for the rating on this board. If you WANT to wander my gallery than you can do so at your own risk, just be aware that there is mature content in some of the pictures. Just wanted to make sure everyone was warned
So I will be posting links to some safe pics The descriptions will be with the link.
I'll start with some Beast Wars art that I don't think I ever ended up posting for one reason or another. First off is the pic that goes with my nickname: Kidcat! I invented her when I was fifteen to be Cheetor's younger sister, always getting into trouble and stuff. I used to RP her a lot in the old days.
Next is Gemini, who is in the fanfics me and my best friend Maria_Sunderland write together. She's also a character that was invented when I was fifteen. She's a cyborg, so no beast mode. I don't like her design anymore since it's not very original and her looks don't match her personality.
The rest would be drawings of characters I've invented and used for other RPGs, such as American McGee's Alice and Dungeons and Dragons. Some are also requests I've drawn for my firends
Thanks for bearing with me through this huge post lol A lot of these are older pictures I've done in the past year or so. From now on I'll just be posting the pics as I finish them.
I've seen these before, what being one of your stalkers on there. I don't have the time to comment on all of them but I will say this, Kidcat, that I really, really like your coloring. I should practice more with that with my Beast Wars fanart.
Thanks a lot, OOP For your comment and for being one of my stalkers
Photoshop is a really fun program to play with, mostly because I can make layers and can always go back and change things if I screw up (well... most of the time anyways lol)

Yeah, layers are sweet, you can go back and change anything and not completely screw up your work. Lately I've been fiddling around with GIMP more than Photoshop (I was using the portable version on my jump drive), that's a fairly good program as well. Although I wanted to kick myself because I started a background image for a website the other day and stopped half-way. Then I opened it later only to realize I had saved it as a JPEG instead of a GIMP project file. Unlike Photoshop, GIMP does not automatically save as a project file. Heh, just part of the learning curve.
I know, I love Photoshop. ^.^ I normally only use it for graphical stuff, though, like my signatures. Only this year have I actually tried to color decently with it. My Bowser drawing being the first and then Simba. I like how they turned out but I want to mess with it more for TransFanart. You're very good with lighting and shades and shadows on your drawings.
I've started using GIMP Portable for all of my web design projects in school. While I have Photoshop at home, and the school usually has it installed on every computer in the building, I find it much easier to put the portable application on my USB jump drive and carry both the image files and the software together. (I've started doing that with a bunch of software). The layout of all the tools is also fairly similar to Photoshop so it's pretty easy to learn. Plus, GIMP saves in and reads all sorts of files. It will open Photoshop documents I believe, as well as some animation files from Autodesk software that I use. It's really pretty cool.
