Wow. No one's posted any music in this thread in a while.
So....here's something kind of holiday-themed for you to enjoy:

This music gave me feels.
I wish you could be
All you ever dreamed
Move on, no regrets
Try to be the absolute best
Stand on your own
You can make it, be someone
With the war in your head
That's what the wise lady said!
There'll be times, when you can't face
The weary lights of the day
But be strong and believe
You can be anything you wish to be
Don't let your fears hold you back
Life isn't meant to be easy
Find justice for what you lack
Time will heal the scar
Be proud of who you are
Taste the fantasies that you dread
That's what the wise Lasy said!
I came from nothing, here I am!
I won the war in my head!

Some of the random stuff stuck in my head lately
Kind of a inspiration to Styx's song, not really a remix since it has completely different lyrics.. and no mention of Kilroy anywhere. The Video is simply awesome.
While characters are listed to have their own theme songs, this would be more "My theme song" for the moment. Iron Maiden, Dream of mirrors.
Susumu Hirasawa Forces God hand mix off the Berserk soundtrack. Anything this man does has an almost haunting tone to it.
Also something that's been stuck in my head, Ellie Goulding- Lights (Bassnectar Remix). Not usually a big remix person, but this one seems better then the original song..
Those seem to the key ones, other then randomly having Dio, Black Sabbath, Megumi Hayashibara, or Tommy Heavenly6 play in my head to distract me.

Yeah, I think just links may work better for browsers than a bunch of direct YouTube embeds.
Anyways, I've had Thousand Foot Krutch's newest release on repeat a lot in recent weeks. Here are my three favorite tracks:

I like Thousand Foot Crutch.
This song has been one of my usual YouTube searches while on my lunch break when i need something to listen to.
"I Don't Apologize" by Otherwise:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpbbA10yCLw&sns=em
And this one as well....
"Gone Sovereign/Absolute Zero" by Stone Sour:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1aikxa ... ata_player
Usually i embed it right into the post, but I'm not sure how to do that on my tablet.

It's been awhile since I posted some music on here. I only have one.
Yu-Gi-Oh Warriors! (Press the CC button to get English subtitles) - Just listened to this yesterday and the lyrics...let's just say...this is going to be Whitegrazer's new theme. Awesome! Lyrics are so powerful!

So I met this person in Vegas on Saturday and she told me that one of her aspirations is to become a country singer. Now, I hate country music, but I told her I'd try and help share her music in spite of this so that she can get some recognition for her work. Here's her Youtube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/BrennaElyse ... ture=watch
There's only two cover songs on there thus far and despite my lack of love for the genre, I think they're not bad. So, please visit her page and if you have any constructive criticism (or just praise) then feel free to leave comment.

So....this thread hasn't been resurrected in a while. It seems like this summer a whole bunch of bands are coming out with covers of a bunch of songs.....Five Finger Death Punch just did "House of the Rising Sun," Halestorm did an entire album of cover songs from AC/DC to Dio a while back and most recently they covered "Get Lucky", Within Temptation just did "Radioactive", a bunch of bands just did a Dio tribute album (Metallica did 3 songs from Dio's days with Rainbow), and Like A Storm just did "Gangster's Paradise."
How do you guys feel about bands doing covers of other bands' stuff? Do you like cover songs or hate them? Is there a particular cover song you like?
Here are two cover songs that I particularly like....one is part of the Summer of Cover Songs and the other has been out for a while......
This is one of the new album from Letters From the Black to be released sometime this summer.
And this one is from Turisas doing a cover of Boney-M's "Rasputin."
Just to satisfy your curiosity, here are the original versions:
You have no idea how hard it was to find that Eleanor Rigby one.
Anyway, which one did you like better??

I fell off the whole Transformers wagon a long time ago... only for my mecha obsession to be rekindled in 2013 by another franchise.
Namely, Super Robot Wars. I originally got into the series thanks to the background music, which is honestly the best video game music I've EVER heard.
Axel Almer's personal bgm, "Dark Knight". Axel's voice actor plays Inferno and Shockblast in Transformers Galaxy Force, along with Nightscream in the Japanese Beast Machines.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5WdmiJ1-KI
Gilliam Yeager's personal bgm, "Hero Chronicle". Gilliam's voice actor plays Star Saber in Transformers Victory.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWR3KZT-res
Shu Shirakawa's personal bgm, "Dark Prison". Shu's voice actor plays Optimus Primal in Japanese Beast Wars. (Shu is terrifying and scarily competent compared to all Transformers characters. He's only 22 years old, but still managed to design and build a mecha that can CREATE BLACK HOLES. Heck, when he upgrades the machine, it can wipe out an entire galaxy in a single hit and kill 16,000 enemies on autopilot.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUrMAC1w8ns
Ingram Prisken's personal bgm, "Emissary from the Void". Ingram's voice actor plays Sideswipe and Jazz in Japanese G1. ...Ingram is one of the most mysterious characters in the entire franchise, and I STILL don't know who or what he actually is. Or how the heck he ended up in a body that wasn't his own.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRG2V04C3YE
Haken Browning's personal bgm, "All Correct!". Haken's voice actor plays Rampage in Japanese Beast Wars and Jetfire in Transformers Superlink.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DM7wgDywGUU
Touma Kanou's personal bgm, "Fighting Spirit, Without Limit". Touma's voice actor plays Red Alert and Brimstone in Transformers Galaxy Force. ...Touma is INCREDIBLY hot-blooded - I've never heard Yasuyuki Kase scream like that in my life, and it gets spine-chillingly powerful when he does "RISING METEOR!".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-24x8dAPmg
Ryouto Hikawa's personal bgm, "Ace Attacker". Ryouto's voice actress plays Lio Junior/Magnaboss in Beast Wars II.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_sDOv9HlB0
Ryusei Date's personal bgm, "Everywhere You Go". Ryusei's voice actor plays Inferno in Japanese Beast Wars. (Music starts a little late.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcNgKmHWuZA
Kyosuke Nanbu's personal bgm, "Steel Beowulf". One of the most iconic themes in the game. Kyosuke's voice actor plays Ravage in Japanese Beast Wars. (Funny thing is, there's a meme about this man that he breaks a mic whenever he yells out loud. ...Has actually happened in real life. His voice is so strong he managed to break a mic by screaming "VOLTEKKA!" at it. And it happened twice.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWc-JqWTkxg
Raidiese F. Branstein's personal bgm, "Ice Man". Rai's voice actor plays Rodimus Prime in Transformers Superlink.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHwhwT5ckXs
Viletta Vadim's personal bgm, "Woman the Cool Spy". Viletta's voice actress plays Botanica in Japanese Beast Machines.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mrbk6HG6tQ
Son Ganlong's personal bgm, "Greatest of the Four Dragons". Ganlong's voice actor plays Terrorsaur and Quickstrike in Japanese Beast Wars. He's also Starscream, Signal Flare, Constructicon Maximus and Bulkhead in Transformers Superlink. (Ganlong's mecha, the Ouryuu, is MASSIVE. ...It's 8000 kilometers long which makes this robotic dragon as long as RUSSIA.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MX1XVISVikQ
Tasuku Shinguji's personal bgm, "Gan! Gan! Gigan!". Tasuku's voice actor plays Rattrap in Japanese Beast Wars.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxHF_0xGbOk
I actually own the soundtrack with most of these tracks on it! 8D
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Away from Super Robot Wars... we have character songs from Angelique.
This is Mitsuo Iwata (Silverbolt/Jetstorm) singing "Don't Be Afraid!", Zephel's character song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYf0dOJA_M4
Nobutoshi Canna (Nightscream) singing "Ashita, Habataku", Randy's character song. One of the best singers in the voice-acting industry. (Heck, this song is from 1996 and he was 28 at the time. He still sings 20 years later; look up "Silent Phoenix" from Dynasty Warriors.)
"Fly! I soar to tomorrow, spreading out my heart
Try! Even if regretful rain was pouring down on me
Fly! I soar ever higher, drawing an alpha
Try! Let us go, to find the seeds of our dream"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH3Qy7GyIvU
Nobuo Tobita (Terrorsaur and Quickstrike) singing "Gekkou Yoku", Lumiale's character song. You wouldn't think it from his BW characters, but he excels in playing soft-spoken, gentle pretty boys.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuiJYxUi9m8
Takehito Koyasu (Optimus Primal) singing "Jealousy de Nemurenai", Olivie's character song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XO0Xde_TgI
Tetsuya Iwanaga (Airazor) singing "Hakujitsumu ~Secret Dream~", Sei-Lan's character song.
