(( OOC:
And OOP wondered why I wanted a drone battle computer.. To pick up the body. *LOL*
Hah! ))
"One filet of RAT coming right up!!" "I'll take mine well done. HAHHAHAH!!!"
Rattrap stopped firing when Manterror hid behind a metal cart. At least he had got one shot on him. Listening to the crazy insect, he realized what the two objects were that the mantis tossed at him, followed by one of his annoying blades. Great. Well, he wasn't about to let this whole place go up in flames, nor did he wanted to stop, drop, and roll. Rattrap relaxed as he lifted his gun and targeted the blade. This was going to be very tricky because he didn't want to hit the flammable canisters, and as skillful as Manterror's toss was, the rat's marksmanship was just as good if not better. All it took was patience. He focused on the spinning blade... Three. Steady now... Two. No pressure... One. He fired, knocking the blade off of its course and letting the canisters fall to the floor without harm. Yes! For a moment Rattrap grinned, and then he quickly moved to another location, getting closer to the praying mantis and still had some large crates to use as cover.

"How you holdin' up in dere, Airazor?" he called to her over his comm. link remembering that she was stuck in that CR chamber.

Rattrap also felt that he needed a status update from everyone. He had no idea how the others were holding up outside and if anyone was injured. It's what Optimus would do, right? And when the monkey would get his progress reports, he'd help whomever he could. Yeah, sure, it was that easy. "This is Rattrap," he opened a link to all of the Maximals. "Status reports, guys!"
"I do not think I will be capable of assisting Orcariner any time soon,"
The small Maximal leader sighed, disappointed by that so-called "warrior". Everybody always did what Optimus told them no matter their situation but Rattrap was having a difficult time getting the same co-operation. On the other hand, it was probably very chaotic outside, overwhelming even. Dinobot was not a coward so the rodent knew the raptor would figure out something. It would just be a really, really big problem if they lost Orcariner in this battle.

-----

Meanwhile, Rhinox had successfully reached the medical bay, laying Tigatron down on a cod. Grabbing a small, glass canister with a lid, he opened it and gently rolled Tigatron on to his side so he could gather a sample of the poison that Umbra had injected him with. Setting that aside for a later examination, he began cleaning his wound and patched it up, laying him back onto his back.

Grumbling as he came to, Tigatron began feeling his body again. It was not so different from being poisoned by the spiders, but he was still was not fond of it. "Rhinox...? What happened?"

"A new Predacon called Umbra got the drop on you. Seemed to be the aquatic kind; an octopus perhaps," he explained to the white tiger. "How do you feel?"

Nodding as he understood, he said, "Better than when it happened. I don't care for the feeling of paralysis. How did he look like a clone of Dinobot?"

"Some kind of camouflage ability. Pretty unique. Whitegrazer took it upon herself to take care of him." How was she doing? Was she okay? She did she throw him and Cecaelia out?

Tigatron slowly sat up, letting his body adjust to everything as it returned to its normal functioning. "Then perhaps we shouldn't linger here. We must help our comrades."

Rhinox wasn't convinced Tigatron was ready for battle but he was right. They had to go and help the others. "All right. You head for the hangar and see if you can give Rattrap any backup with Manterror. I'm going to return to the bridge and find out Whitegrazer's status."

Nodding in agreement, the tiger stepped down from the cod and drew his weapon. Caustiously he exited the medbay and headed for the hangar as the base continued to shake.

Thanks to Onyx's friction rifle, explosions could be heard from underneath the ship and Rhinox wondered if the flooring was going to cave right from under his feet, a hole that could swallow him and plummet effortlessly into the water far below the ship thanks to his weight and gravity. Fortunately, the ship's armor underneath was holding up. For now. He could sense the temperature rising inside, however, from the engulfing flames outside. Not good. They had to get those shields back up!

Taking out one of his chain guns, the engineer moved carefully along the halls, checking corners for any surprises or intruders. Reaching the command center, Rhinox made a quick observation as he stepped in and lowered his weapon. Umbra was down, Cecaelia was there but didn't seem to be threatening anyone as she comforted her aquatic friend, Whitegrazer looked like she was in bad shape with the bomb still attached to her back, and Aurora was presently uninjured. What did he miss?! "Is everyone all right?" he asked as he approached Aurora and Whitegrazer.
"Well, that's just prime!"

As Frilla had expected her Electro-scrambler did it's job, which she was glad for. Cecaelia was certainly one of the Predacons she wouldn't stand much of a chance up close in hand-to-hand combat with the fact the other femme could easily bring her down that way with being stronger and having far more arms. Though for now she could only watch her leave after her threat of turning her into a purse,"Think you'd have better luck when I actually had scales."She muttered before quickly heading off towards the bridge since that was where she was headed before running into the octopus femme and wondered if that's where she too had headed before, really wondering who this Umbra was or if any of her fellow Maximals had taken him down as well. But she stopped briefly when hearing Rattrap calling them,"I'm fine on my end for now Rattrap, heading to the bridge now."She reported before continuing on and finally arriving to the bridge.

Frilla looked about then, finding at least three of her comrades and Cecaelia trying to drag another Predacon she didn't recognize away from the scene but emphasis on the trying. Though her optics also caught sight of all the damage, wondering what in the world had gone on down here that had caused all the damage. "Guess the outside isn't the only thing taking damage."She remarked.

((No problem Darkspark and I think NK explained everything already. :) ))

Feralnight growled a little as she barely avoided his fired missiles, having to duck or dodge side to side just to avoid being blown to bits and not wanting to be grounded yet again during a massive fight like this one. She had already been grounded quite a few times over the past months as it was, and soon enough she might as well have opted to be part of the ground unit then the aerial one. But it seemed the missiles were the least of her issues as she had tried to keep her optics on Terrorsaur and barely caught sight of him again enough to bring both hands up to grab the blade of one sword aimed for her head only to allow the other to be driven through her torso, making her growl in pain. But there was some relief that it barely missed her spark chamber otherwise she'd be next going to see the Well of Sparks which she wasn't quite yet ready to see, not for a long time to come at least.

"Think your going to have to try a little harder then that to knock me out of the sky Terrorsaur."Feralnight countered, but her voice had an edge of pain to it now as she decided it might be better to use her shoulder cannons and hopefully blast him away. Of course it seemed the pteradon was stronger then the last time they had fought with becoming transmetal and who knew if her shots would be effective. But then again she had to try something, already aiming her shoulder cannons towards her foe and firing at their close range and hoping to blast him away at least enough for her to come up with a new tactic.

Orcariner wrote:"Hang in there Stag, I'm coming," he radioed.

Rattrap wrote:"This is Rattrap," "Status reports, guys!"

Stag observed Orcariner flying towards him, to the best of his abilities anyway, his vision was slightly obscured from the cargo he was carrying in his scissor like mandibles, though based off a male stag beetle, the mandibles were not made for cutting, but rather tusks used to flip or grapple with opposing male insects for privilege of mating in a contest almost comparable to sumo. To Stag, this was just fortunate to allow him to be strong enough to grip onto and fly with Aerostriker's remains.

He then opened a comlink to respond to Orcariner While respectfully greatful, this unit must also advise this action as dangerous to your own as well as our survival. Due to level of damage and time limit, suggesting landing near the Axalon to perform a transfer to increase Aerostriker's survivability. After which damage will no longer pose an issue, but this battle must be won. This unit is no longer armed, but still capable of providing combat support.

He then opened the channel to Rattrap: Stag reporting, this unit is inbound towards the Axalon with Orcariner. Aerostriker has received heavy damage from enemy fliers, further damage from Nemesis consuming a large portion of his frame, returning with remains and spark.

Stag landed in Orcariner's open hands.

(Hm.. so going by the list. Nemesis has consumed 3 Maximals so far, with Aerostriker being the first to survive.. sort of. All of them with bird modes too. I guess she has a taste for poultry?)

The atmosphere above Cheetor was visibly starting to thin out as he flew higher and higher at top speed. Even as the sun was beginning to rise far below him, he was catching sight of more stars with every passing moment. Then he heard a voice he had been hoping to be out of earshot from.
Inferno wrote:HAHAHA! You are learning well, but you can't run forever, feline! There are some things that are even faster than you and they tend to catch up to what they are chasing!
Cheetor moved his neck down to try to get a visual on Inferno, but the Predacon must have been behind as well as below him. On instinct, he arced forward. He barely started to register the sound of the rocket passing behind him when the other one caught him lengthways along the right side of his chest. The resulting explosion caused the world in front of Cheetor's optics to spin chaotically, and it knocked his right thruster offline, leaving the jet to emit a trail of smoke in his wake. In a panic, Cheetor tried to correct himself with his remaining thruster, but all he managed to do was cause himself to spin faster.

Moments later, he was falling towards the ground and picking up speed, catching a fleeting glimpse of Inferno on his way down. Eventually, he stopped spinning as harshly, and he was able to stay focused on the Earth below through the warning lights flashing on his HUD. Halfway down, a desperate idea came to him. Positioning himself as best as he could so that he was free-falling with his right side down, he activated his left thruster at full capacity and tried to balance his weight so that the booster hung over his oddly improvised center of gravity. But he only found himself cartwheeling forward over his own head. Realizing that the venture was hopeless, he found sight of the ground again and tried to ignore the feeling of his beast mode reaching terminal velocity.
Rattrap wrote:This is Rattrap. Status reports, guys!
Cheetor heard the message moments before impact, and he knew it was too late to reply. Sorry, buddy, he thought.

He blacked out as his body smashed a small crater into the earth with a deep, forceful sound and sent dirt flying up into the air before bouncing, twirling and skidding its way across rock and soil. When it finally stopped, Cheetor's frame rested oddly against its left side with its missing arm. Exposed circuitry lay both inside and outside of his beast mode where huge, jagged chunks of armor had been torn off.

* * *

Steelclaw, loathe to drop the ground and thereby have to let his gun slam into the dirt too, fired at the incoming stun gun blasts. As well-developed as his aim was, however, his minigun was slightly unwieldy, and he couldn't muster the speed to block everything. One blast went harmlessly over his head and another just missed his leg, but a third hit him squarely in the neck.

Fighting the pain and the automatic reactions of his battle mode--the flickering vision and the voice processor that wanted to release a diagnostic cough--he laid his minigun on the ground gently while Silverstreak waited behind cover. Then he drew his gauss rifle, setting it to fire off its incendiary rounds. He felt that perhaps something a little more quick-to-aim would be helpful in this situation. If the Maximal would just break cover again.

Out of his peripheral vision, he easily saw Orcariner leaving the scene, and he briefly he wondered if the Maximal was coming to attack him. But he stowed the fear away quickly and never took his optics away from Silverstreak's hiding place. It soon became obvious that Orcariner was heading for the Axalon.

And Steelclaw was glad. Given the mission at hand, the decision was probably going to be his to make very, very soon, but... he wasn't ready to terminate Orcariner yet. No. Not yet.

* * *

Dinobot smiled in grim satisfaction--Tarantulas and Arachitron were actually coming to a stop to face him. That would definitely improve his odds of hitting them. He quickly took stock of Tarantulas' new transmetal battle mode. It appeared as though the Predacon could withstand a lot more weapons' fire than before. It was also possible that his strength had been augmented--and if so, then perhaps considerably.

Then something totally unexpected happened. Tarantulas fired the cluster bombs out of his shoulders, and they flew straight over the rocks Dinobot was using for cover. Two of them barreled straight into him, and he fell off of his feet. The rest littered the rock-walled shelter with stone fragments. Grunting in frustration and pain, Dinobot got to a kneeling position and took up his weapon again.
Wintersong wrote:I'll activate mine in a few moments Dinobot.

"Noted," he acknowledge her quickly. Glancing through the thin opening in front of him to see the surrounding terrain, he noticed a large boulder balanced precariously above Tarantulas and Arachnitron, and he fired his energy cannon at the edge of the rock that the boulder was resting on.

Starshadow hissed when the creature swiped her face which caused her to let go, leaving a few scratch marks on her white face. She did not have the time to react when the Beast threw her like a light bag of trash to a cliff wall.

"UGH!" her back landed on the rough surface of the wall and many large cracks were formed on it. She slowly stretched out her arms and glared at the beast. All she wants now was to end its wretched existence. Her thrusters were activated and Starshadow kicked off the wall, flying towards the beast while pulling out Mortem, shooting it.
"Cececila, you may remain here with us until we can get the access to allow you outside. I promise you wouldn't be harmed unless you attack us or our comrades in any way then we will have no choice but to defend ourselves."
"Ohhhhh rigghttt suuurrreeee...you'll put us both in the brigs anyway." Cecaelia stopped dragging Umbra and aimed her gattling cannon at the Maximals, "Fix that console or I'll blast a hole in your ship." she changed her cannon's system's from gattling to buster and charged it up.

(ooc: Well.. a long weekend at work is over for me. Time to relax a bit before the next burst. It was past 1 am before I got out of work last night and my shift was busy from start at 3 pm to finish.)

After shooting the chemical covered arrow at Umbra and, almost to her surprise, actually hitting her target, Aurora did not wait for the tranquilizers to take effect before making her approach. From what she had seen of the encounter between Whitegrazer and Umbra, that bomb now attached to Whitegrazer's backside only had a few seconds left on the countdown before going off.. and taking Whitegrazer with it in the process. There was no time to linger about without bursting into action, even if the foe was very much so still there.
Whitegrazer wrote: "Aurora?"
The little fuzor halted as she got closer, watching as the Predacon assassin eyed her. He was still standing, even talking to them. Had her shot missed after all? Was her chemical concoction ineffective against this guy?
Umbra wrote:A child on this pleasure cruise? Well.. it seems you've raised a fine assassin..she's managed to kill us both..But a child knows nothing of discipline nor honor.. so I will not hold this against you.. miss pony.
Aurora remained silent, merely casting a quick glance up at Whitegrazer before returning her quiet stare to Umbra. Precious seconds passed before she noticed that the Predacon's body was growing weaker, only to collapse as his form changed to a more shapeless blob on the floor. It was quite the disturbing sight, if a little nauseating. However there was no more time to waste so the ermine swiftly hurried past the unconscious form to Whitegrazer's side.
Whitegrazer wrote: "Great shot. Rattrap would be proud."
She attempted to smile, but found herself unable to do so until this situation had been resolved. With shaky hands she reached for the deadly mechanism on Whitegrazer's backside, when..

The other Predacon, a female she had come to recognize as Cecaelia, then came bursting into the room and immediately went to gather up her friend. Aurora felt a lump in her throat and she tried to swallow it to no avail as the furious female spoke up.
Cecaelia wrote:"You will face death today even if it's not by my hands."
The ermine fuzor wanted to shout back that her friend was only stunned and would wake up as soon as his body had a chance to clear the chemicals from his systems, not liking the accusing tone in the threat that had been directed at her. The words themselves didn't phase her much, they were just an empty threat, but the tone behind said words bothered her more than she cared to admit. It was as if Cecaelia was accusing her of killing her friend, something that certainly was not Aurora's intention to do. The chemicals she had used were not lethal.. or at least they shouldn't be. She was not a killer.

Memories from another recent encounter which had ended up with the transmetalized female floating in the water after being electrocuted suddenly flooded her mind, the images so lifelike and vibrant. That lump in her throat seemed to grow tenfold. Not a killer..

Aurora bit her lip so hard it nearly cracked. She only vaguely caught Whitegrazer's offer to allow Cecaelia and Umbra to remain, feeling the urge to speak up against it, yet she did not do so. Moments later Rattrap's voice on the radio snapped her back to reality.
Rattrap wrote:"Status reports, guys!"
Aurora responded, a bit quietly.

"One of the Predacon invaders is down, however we have a.."

She looked up at Whitegrazer, her fingers tracing the plate of the bomb until she found a ledge that she could pry open.

"..situation in progress that is a somewhat urgent matter."

Removing the plate of the bomb, Aurora could not help but sigh as she noticed the many circuits that allowed for the countdown to continue. They only had a few more seconds before that thing went off, and a wrong move could easily set off the explosion prematurely. As she studied the contraption, attempting to decipher its exact nature, Rhinox returned.
Rhinox wrote:"Is everyone all right?"
"So far but I need your help," Aurora swiftly admitted. This was not the time to play hero.

"There is no time to disable it safely. It's a magnetic device so it will detonate if pulled off, so we'll have to be quick about this. Take Whitegrazer's hands and get ready to pull her towards you as fast as you can."

Aurora gently replaced the back plating of the device again and took out the magnetic hook she had recovered from Icebreaker's room after his untimely demise. She released the cord and attached the magnet to the bomb itself, then started backing up.

(ooc: Waiting for Terrorsaur and Tantrum so I can respond for Nem and Megs respectively.)

The creature was unaware that it was standing extremely close to the edge of the cliff. The waterfall near by was obscuring its ability to hear properly. The frist blast from Starshadow's weapon hits the beast's shoulder, catching it off guard. Each blast from the runts weapon forced the beast closer to edge of the cliff.

OOC: Sorry Phoenix, I can't really post for Tarantulas until Blackrose posts for Arachnitron & Dinobot, BUT, I can post for Terrorsaur. Sorry for the delay.

I sent Una & Blackrose notes too, we're planning on how to handle the infamous "Spider under a rock" scene :P

"RAWK!!!" Terrorsaur screamed as Feralnight's shoulder cannons blasted him away from her, sending him tumbling head over heels through the air, eyes wide in shock.

"You...Mismatched menagerie of fur and feathers...HOW DARE YOU?!" Terrorsaur shrieked indignantly as he finally righted himself in the air, his jets flaring and eyes glowing demonically in rage, one hand still brandishing a sword while the other rubbed his chest plate self-consciously, his damage minimal but still painful, again finding himself thankful for his new transmetalized hide, but cursing Feralnight for reminding him that even now, even with his advanced weapons and upgrades, he wasn't invincible like he'd dreamt of being since the Flying Mountain Incident, that he could be hurt...And waking up from that dream ANGERED him.

He then noticed that his missing sword was still imbedded in her torso, and it appeared to still be causing her a great deal of pain, which of course made him feel better about his own discomfort.

"Heh heh, does it hurt little Fuzor? Don't worry, it'll pass, here, let me help end your pain" Terrorsaur mocked, keeping his distance as he fired a volley of shoulder missiles her way, looking forward to seeing a maximal with a sword in their gut trying to outmaneuver all those projectiles.

Una wrote: "No!"

She held her head, closing her optics. Wasn't Tarantulas in the middle of a battle? She hoped something would shut him up.

His anger growing with her defiance, coupled with Dinobot's, compelled Tarantulas to send increasing waves of telepathic pain through Blackarachnia's mind, exerting more and more of his will upon her so that he could see what she had found. How dare she keep what was rightfully his from him? While he was in the middle of a war zone no less? Did she think he had time for her drama?

"Do not fight me witch! Let me see" Tarantulas commanded, his claws clenched, BA's eyes glowing green from his presence in her mind as he slowly pried her pincers away from her vision so he could get a peek at his prize, lines of information appearing on the screen...

Blackrose wrote: Tarantulas taunted the raptor from the other side of the boulders sending his projectiles towards him. Arachnitron couldn't be sure if any of the shots from Tarantulas' shoulder missiles made contact with the Maximal, but from the sound of it, they must have. Dinobot was quiet for a few seconds and she thought she might have even heard a grunt.

Arachnitron peeked over the rocks to check on Dinobot's status. She was met with cannon fire that she quickly dodged while cursing her poor timing. She covered her face as some debris scattered down from the rock ledge above her. Dinobot's energy cannon blast must have hit the rock wall behind her. She turned around to see if it had hit Tarantulas as well. Her attention was drawn to a boulder that was sitting precariously above Tarantulas' position. It was wobbling from the impact.

Fearing Tarantulas to be in danger, Arachnitron called out to him to warn him of the possible falling rock.

"Tarantulas! Watch out!!"

Tarantulas, distracted from his argument with Blackarachnia by Arachnitron's voice, looked around for signs of danger, whether it be incoming enemy fire or an approaching opponent, but instead heard a rather ominous sound right behind him.

With a sinking feeling in his spark, Tarantulas looked up just in time to watch a massive rock falling down on top of him.

"OH NO!" was all he had time to say before being trapped beneath the rock, alive but out of commission for the time being, and who knew for how long with all the fighting going on around him.

((OOC: Beware. This is a long post due to the fact that I wrote a flashback of a younger Whitegrazer. Oh boy. ))

"... a set of feather wings black like death, sliver of a sword lifting, smiles spellbounded in pain and pleasure."

Those images several hours ago appeared before as Aurora stroke the bomb on her back, searching for the better way to disarm it: the images that alerted her to Aurora's injured form and the scene of Nemesis floating in the water with a sword deep into her chest. It was such a horrific scene that one person couldn't forget. She had witnessed and saw much worse, but the severity of it wasn't the physical yet the emotional turmoil surrounding it. Strong emotions stained that area and her spark shivered from the chill of despair and doubt raining next to her. She closed her optics to try and
soothe the soul before her. "Aurora, you are a good person and I will always be here for you. Remember that. Always."
"Ohhhhh rigghttt suuurrreeee...you'll put us both in the brigs anyway." Cecaelia stopped dragging Umbra and aimed her gattling cannon at the Maximals, "Fix that console or I'll blast a hole in your ship."
Putting Cecaelia in brig would be fruitless with the power they had left as well as the fact the bomb on her back only had seconds to blow, "Putting Umbra and yourself in the brig would be counterproductive."

She opened her optics, "Fixing the console is unnesscary as the shields are still in our command, but that risks damage that could be fatal for all of us. Threats of further injury and violence will be unwise. Umbra may get hit in the crossfire or the bomb on my back may explode, which from this velocity will kill you as well as your friend. Not for our sake, but for the sake of your friend, I ask you to lay down your trigger finger at least until Umbra and yourself can go back outside where your friend can be out of harm's way. That's all."

"Ah, Whitegrazer, your calm and reasonable demeanor even with a bomb on your back and Predacons coming to exterimnate your friends and yourself never ceases to amuse me."

Seeing Rhinox appear from the hallway, she smiled warmly, "We are fine, but the bomb situation is being handled. Your assistance may be required. How's Tigatron?" Aurora seemed to be ordering Rhinox to do something to the bomb so she kept her position with patience.

The crowd was throwing a fit, screaming in fury as she stood upon a Predacon warrior who was chosen to fight her and kill her. When the fight began, the crowd laughed at her and spat at her how weak she was because of her Maximal heritage. But their chosen warrior wasn't as strong as they thought. Energon flood the rocky ground from the gaping wound on his chest and missing limbs cut from her blade as well as his own. She threw her blade in the air and caught it with her fist, raising it in triumph and ridicule at the Predacons, who all looked like they were getting sick of her survival.

A hammer hit the ground with a thunderous roar. The crowd grew silent around her as their leader, Overlord stood up from his throne along with a black and purple Predacon, who had crimson optics and black smoke rose from his body,

"Silence! That concludes fight number six. Take that weakling out of this ring!"

Two hulky guards with axes dragged the dead body of her opponent away from the arena.

Overlord threw a finger at her, "Let's see if you can defeat our next opponent, Maximal. Bring out Driller!"

She wasn't worried. She had killed many of their so-called warriors and this one was no different. Just another body for her to kill.

The gates opposite of her rose to reveal a bulky, tall figure walking forward. Two drills were his hands. His face looked grostque with optics sealed shut and a mouth that was too big, making him seem like smiling maniac.

Okay, this may be problematic.

The crowds roared with excitement.

"Place your bets on who will be the victor."

There was a pause before Overlord smirked, "The odds are against you, little Maximal. Let the final battle for tonight begin!"

Driller started his drills and charged at her with a monstrous snarl. She widened her optics as the two drills went straight at her. She jumped forward underneath the behemoth and started chopping his heavy legs as hard as she could before the drills came at her again. The blade left scratches and tiny holes. Not enough to take the big Predacon down. She had to think of something quick. She raced forward at him, jumped and dug her blade into his back before he turned around. Using the blade and parts, she climbed all the way to his head, chopping on the neckline. Driller kept going around in circles, but she kept her grip until he rammed himself into the crowd which scattered. She dropped on the stands. Driller's neckline was sparking, but his head was still attached firmly.

"Slaggit!"

A drill caught towards her side and the debris knocked her over. It blinded her to the other drill which hit her hard. She screamed, feeling the drill shred her torso and upper legs. Energon was spilling from her wounds as she limped back to the arena. The crowd was cheering at this development.

"Kill her! Kill her! Kill her!" They all shouted.

From exhaustion of the previous fights, her form feel down, noticing she lost her blade. Driller came at her ready to dig in her. She struggled against her own exhaustion to move when she saw that on the other side of the Predacon was an axeblade that the guards held. One of them must have dropped it when teh Driller came at the crowd. This was her chance. The driller was inching from her before she moved, feeling the rocky ground's glitter her body. She feel down a little trench created from Driller's earlier attempts to kill her. She could only crawl towards the axeblade, hearing the whirring and tearing behind her as the drill moved towards her. It came closer and closer. She grabbed the axeblade and rolled to avoid the drill. Before he could take up, she stabbed the axeblade through it, hurting the Predacon and made it smoke. She used all her strength to race up towards the giant chest and stabbed it. She kept stabbing and stabbing, screaming.

"Die you, slagging Pred!" She sent the blade right through it, missing the spark yet hitting an energon valve that was bursted Driller's energon all over her. She continued her onslaught until the optics of the Predacon gres dim and he fell to the ground. Catching her breath, she saw the spark leave the body of the Predacon and screamed in triumph as the spark went back to the Pit.

"What?! She is still alive?!"

"Yes," she screamed at the unbelieving crowd, "I'm still alive, you slaggers! Bring it! I'll take you all on!"

Predacons threw their betting credits at her in disgust. Maybe they should have known better than to bet against her. The guards came down and dragged her back into the darkness of her cell. Still leaking the mixture of Driller's and her own energon, spitting it on the floor with a laugh."

OOC: Sorry for the wait and sorry for this really short and horrible post.

BIC:

Pleased, Inferno watched the Maximal tumble towards the ground. He waited a bit to see if the cat would transform and return fire, but nothing happened. Inferno lowered himself to the ground. The Royalty would expect to hear that he had terminated the Maximal.....he would not be pleased unless Inferno could tell him for sure that Cheetor was off line. He had to find him to be sure.

Inferno climbed around on the rubble searching for the fallen Maximal.

"Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!" he called laughing as he scanned the ground for remains.

Then he saw the cat, lying in the dirt, missing a limb, and exposing much of his circuitry. He took a few steps closer to him priming his weapon so that he could finish the cat once and for all......

(OOC: Figured I'd leave it at that for now to give Cheetor a chance to come to....or to give a Maximal in the area a chance to interrupt if they would like.)

---------------------------------------------
Ride's over, get off. Tarantulas! TERRORIZE!"

Arachnitron slid off of Tarantulas' back as he transformed into his robot mode. She found some cover behind a set of rocks a few dozen yards away from Dinobot who was trapped behind some fallen rocks and other rubble. Tarantulas fired a few of his projectiles in Dinobot's direction.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are!"

Tarantulas taunted the raptor from the other side of the boulders sending his projectiles towards him.

(( OOC: Great post, una! Love the flashback. ))
"I'm fine on my end for now Rattrap, heading to the bridge now."
Stag reporting, this unit is inbound towards the Axalon with Orcariner. Aerostriker has received heavy damage from enemy fliers, further damage from Nemesis consuming a large portion of his frame, returning with remains and spark.
"One of the Predacon invaders is down, however we have a.." "..situation in progress that is a somewhat urgent matter."
Frilla. Stag and Aerostriker, and he guessed that included Orcariner's situation. Aurora, and Rattrap assumed that included Whitegrazer. Six reported in. Airazor was in the CR. Ironclaw was still unconscious. Rhinox and Tigatron were around somewhere. Dinobot, whom he had heard from not long ago, was outside with the rest. But there was still Feralnight, Cheetor, Wintersong, Silverstreak and Saber-Fang who failed to respond. Were they injured? Trapped? Unconscious? Taken prisoner? Or... Or worse? The short spy-turned-commander moved quickly around some obstacles and found a position behind the Nomad for cover, holding his gun tightly and watching Manterror's position while peeking past a corner of the quiet, small vessel.

"Hang in dere, Aurora," Rattrap replied. "Rhinox is on his way," if he wasn't there already. Unfortunately, it sounded like Aerostriker was severely injured and possibly out of the fight. And if Orcariner had never received backup, how was he fairing? There were all kinds of booms outside that shook the ground that the Axalon helplessly sat on.

Entering the hangar cautiously, Tigatron wielded his weapon and snuck inside. Noticing Rattrap moving around, he was uncertain as to where the Predacon bug was. He gave a quick wave to Rattrap to let him know he was there and then hid behind some metal shelves with random tools and equipment on them after the TransMetal rat had waved back in acknowledgement.

-----
"Guess the outside isn't the only thing taking damage."
Rhinox looked down at Frilla for a moment, adding a nod. He was happy to finally see her, uncertain as to where she had been earlier. It didn't matter now, of course, since they needed all the help they could get despite how gloomy things seemed to be unfolding.
"Ohhhhh rigghttt suuurrreeee...you'll put us both in the brigs anyway." "Fix that console or I'll blast a hole in your ship."
Greatly outnumbered and outgunned, was this Predacon really trying to threaten them? Rhinox just about had enough of this. Before he could speak in retaliation, it was the wounded mare who spoke up first.
"Putting Umbra and yourself in the brig would be counterproductive." "Fixing the console is unnesscary as the shields are still in our command, but that risks damage that could be fatal for all of us.
Puzzled, Rhinox blinked at Whitegrazer's longwinded explanation. It didn't quite sound like her. Did something happen to her while she had been trying retrieve Optimus's spark in the great beyond? At least it made sense, and he hoped Cecaelia would heed her words because if she didn't, she would then have to face him. She was lucky they hadn't unarmed her and her friend Umbra there and shackle them as they were.
"We are fine, but the bomb situation is being handled. Your assistance may be required. How's Tigatron?"
Still didn't sound like her. Why was she speaking like that? The engineer looked from Whitegrazer to the bomb on her back and to Aurora before answering. "He's all right. I sent him to help Rattrap in the hangar with Manterror. I believe Airazor is still stuck inside the CR." One problem after another.
"So far but I need your help," "There is no time to disable it safely. It's a magnetic device so it will detonate if pulled off, so we'll have to be quick about this. Take Whitegrazer's hands and get ready to pull her towards you as fast as you can."
Putting his chain gun away, Rhinox glanced at the counter on the bomb. Thirty-five seconds? He felt that was enough time for him to disarm it with the help of Aurora's petite fingers but she seemed to have another idea in mind with a tool she had acquired from Icebreaker. Clever. Either one was just as risky as the other so he decided to trust her. Besides, Umbra may have integrated things differently so that it would make disarming it more difficult and waste time trying to figure out the traps. Stepping over to them while trying to keep an eye on the two Predacons, Rhinox grabbed Whitegrazer's slender hands with his giant, minorly scorched and torn, green hands, and looked to Aurora with a nod as she was backing up, letting her know he was ready. When Aurora was ready, he pulled Whitegrazer toward him...
"Well, that's just prime!"

( Geh.. still going with the worse of the worse plans.. which I've already explained countless times wont work. I was assuming Rhinox would of known better.. but Oh well! Guess I'll meddle a bit considering everyone else has meddled. And those curious.. out of countless reasons, I believe the most likely is oddly something I forgot until messing around with some magnets.. Magnets aren't focused. and Aurora has a magnet like a junkyard electro magnet. She wont just be hooking the Demo charge, she'll be hooking Whitegrazer's back and internal skeleton. End result either the charge goes off in the havoc, or Whitegrazer gets ripped in half/arms ripped off.. and then it goes off.

As for Warwulf, he's been busy bricking and unbricking his phone. I imagine he'll post soon. )

The mass on the floor twitched as color patterns swirled slightly. Umbra's optics flickered as he heard muffled noise with a ring in his audios.
Cecaelia wrote:"Fix that console or I'll blast a hole in your ship."

One of Umbra's octopus eyes shifted as he noticed Cecaelia, though still too weak to move. His optics then flickered out as he blacked out once again, only to awaken again hearing the voices in the room.
Aurora wrote:"There is no time to disable it safely. It's a magnetic device so it will detonate if pulled off, so we'll have to be quick about this. Take Whitegrazer's hands and get ready to pull her towards you as fast as you can."

Magnetic device?.. The Demo charge was still active? They really planned something so stupid as to try to pull it off? That also means the shield was still up.. He couldn't afford getting blown up. He had to stop this nonsense at once and finish the mission. He had to get up, no matter the cost.

Leaning his head up as his body started to solidify, he pulled part of his lip into his mouth, then chomped down. Using the pain as a focus, he started to bring up adrenaline in his system to counter the drowsiness from the tranquilizer.

(Edited to try to keep a continuity to the later posts that make sense. )

Silverstreak really didn't know whether or not to risk peeking over her cover, as badly as she wanted to see if her stun blasts had done a thing to take down the bear she also didn't want to risk ending up an open target. What to do was now her primary concern. Problem was her options were limited, even if she were to make a run for it she could end up spotted and a sitting duck but she was if she just sat there and gave Steelclaw the chance to attack before she could make up her mind. Though her ears perked up as she heard more movement and glanced up, seeing the orca leaving the scene much to her relief that he could leave this alive but now she was stuck with the three Predacons. Or was it just the bear transformer waiting for her to something?

Letting out a shaky sigh Silverstreak decided she might as well risk it, not really wanting to just sit there and give an open chance for one of them to come in closer and terminate her permanently. She wasn't ready to go down nor would she go down without fighting for her new team. Finally, the little femme slowly peeked her head over the boulder to see what Steelclaw was up to while bringing her stun gun up to fire again. If she could.

==========================

As Onyx was firing a few more shots from his rifle the last few were soon stopped by the newly activated shields, harmlessly rebounding off the shield and making the stallion sigh in frustration. But now the time was ticking for those fires currently on the ship that still burned, little over 3-5 minutes it would last before they would go out but he hoped in that span of time somehow it could affect the ship, especially the systems inside since until those shields gave out there was little else he could do. His fellow Predacons were already taking care of the rest of the Maximals who seemed still putting up a decent fight. Truly, he had to give the Maximals credit for continuing their fight for survival and putting up a valiant effort, even in their darkest hour they seemed more formidable then the Predacons were giving them credit for and it made Onyx somewhat sad that it would come to this. Even in such a short time span of being in this war the black and gray mech had come to question his loyalties to Megatron in recent days yet at the same time he held true to being loyal to the Predacon faction since he could remember.

Of course, it was made apparent that Megatron was not the kind of commander he would ever want to be under and a majority of the Predacons made him shudder at their insanity, despite the fact some also held intelligence. Shaking his head Onyx decided to kneel down behind some cover of the rocks that seemed to litter around the Axalon, his gaze scanning the field slightly and seeing the fights still going around and it seemed above him Nemesis was back in the skies to help Terrorsaur and much to his surprise the larger Maximal, Orcanier, was heading to the ship carrying someone in his hands. Both seemed to have extensive damage and though Onyx could attack he always preferred to fight someone who could or would be willing to fight at either full strength or if they could continue. And at the moment he was conflicted to fire at the Orca with an injured teammate in his hands or leaving them be.

Standing slightly the black stallion began to take aim towards the two Maximals, Orcanier most of all since he still seemed to be able to move and fight or defend, but again Onyx hesitated. Frowning his conscious seemed to get the better of him a few seconds later and he decided to lower his aim, keeping a sharper eye on his surroundings and them instead.

((So, wasn't quite sure what else to do for Onyx at this point in time since he hasn't been anywhere near the fights going on and the shields being up. But decided might as well give a little more insight on how he felt about the whole thing. So enjoy!))

Starshadow smirked at the beast and noticed the end she was getting closer to. That was it! She would make her fall to her death! With her jet thrusters, there was nothing to worry. Keeping Mortem away, she activated her thrusters and pushed the beast off the cliff, hoping that the wretched kitty would fail to survive from or fail to take her along.
Ug.. Of all the stupid..
Cecaelia blinked her optics and resist the urge to laugh. It looked so funny at first but not anymore.
Whitegrazer was it? I'm not feeling like watching lady Cecaelia or myself get blown up.. or watching you get torn in half..
"I prefer watching her torn in half." she said.
I'll remove it..Turn around..
WHAT?! After all the trouble they stirred in the Axalon and now he wants to remove the bomb? But it was logical. She did not feel like dying today after just getting her beautiful upgrades. A sigh escaped from her mouth. After all this chaos, she was going to expect a trip to the beach or the sea later on.

The beast crouched as starshadow came flying at the creature. With a roar, it rose to its hind legs, ready to swat the runt in the face again. That was a mistake as its left hind leg slipped, the moment that happened, the beasts eyes changed back to normal. Fear replaced rage as the beast's hold on Saber wained, giving the former General a front row seat to the fall that could spell her demise. What the beast didn't know was that thanks to Starshadow slamming into it, changed where it was going to fall. Instead of hitting solid ground, the beast mid-reverse transformation hit the river, luckily no where near the base of the water fall, other wise it would have hit the rocks at the base of it.

Saber was a horrible situation just coming out of the beast, because of the energy grain she couldn't fight the rivers current for very long. Her beast mode instincts where telling her to stop fighting there wasn't any point to fight the current when she was so weak.

It doesn't matter, I can't go home... I'm dead either way... She thought, giving in and simply allowing the current to take her down the river.

((OOC: Sorry for this crappy post and no Saber is not dead.))
