Okay so while watching Beast Wars a couple days ago I was thinking, they don't usually say a minute, a second, an hour, etc. They say other words, and I think I got confused; on what is...well what? What do all they mean?
Nano-Second
Nano-Click
Cycle
Stellar-Cycle
Deca-Cycle (I think that's it. I remember Rhinox said it in the first season.)
If anyone else can think of anything else, go ahead and add it to the list
Time talk?

Nano-Second = Second
Nano-Click = Minute
Cycle = Hour or day
Stellar-Cycle = Year
Deca-Cycle = Ten years? A hundred?
That's how I always loosely translated it. I could be way off, though.
I've never really looked in depth with this kind of stuff in TFs. I just enjoy the show.

Nano-Second = probably a 100th of a second or something
Nano-Click = 100th of a minute
Cycle = Translated as a planetary cycle, so that's a day
Stellar-Cycle = a year. It takes Earth a year to go around our sun, which is a star, and stellar is a Latin translation of "Realm of stars"
Deca-Cycle = 10 days
Its been a while since i last checked my Latin, but i don't think i'm far off here

Thank you! The transformers wikis are fans' best friends since articles as such have citations from source material and interviews. I tried to point this out a while back and someone told me I was being condescending. Sorry if research = arrogance.JazZeke wrote:I'll just leave this here...
