Skype?

I dont know how many people are comfortable using skype with each other on here. But does anyone have one? I am thinking of trying it out.

I have Skype. I rarely use it, though. I used to use it pretty often a year or two ago but now no one's ever hardly on, especially the person who talked me into downloading it in the first place and buy a webcam for it. I like it, though. Free calls and chatting to anyone in the world? Heck yes!

I like Skype. I use it almost every day. Long ago, BWINT used to have weekend AIM chat (AOL Instant Messenger). I'd love for that to happen again. Maybe we should organise one here? I think we can use Skype as a multichat messenger. Maybe other messengers are better suited, though. I am totally open to suggestions. Anyone interested?

I/we also have skype but I don't use it as often as I should. A member gettogether sounds awesome, but I'm not sure we'd be able to do weekends specifically since in health care weekends are just another couple workdays.

Sadly, I don't..my brother will try all ways to stop me from having skype. Even if I have Skype, I'm too shy to talk, my voice sounds squeaky and irritating (I think) if not, it sounds manly or boyish, they go high and low pitch randomly. Plus, I'll go singlish at one point which means you'll hear lots of "lah"s, "lor"s, "meh"s and "mah"s, and probably won't understand a single word I have said. Singaporean accent is hard to forget. Another thing is if I get too excited, I won't stop talking slag and some of you might get annoyed.

If I have skype, I could only do it during the November/December holidays since school is really eating up my time.

Given that we've used Skype to have Beast Wars chat's in the past, we'd most likely be using the text based group chat feature.

I hear of corporations using Skype to conference all the time. It's being pretty widely used for world-wide networking! And as Razor said, we do tend to use the type feature most during mass chats anyways. No need to worry about singing in the background!

Pleased to see there's a lot of interest. I think we should stick to the type-chat feature as too many voices will get confusing, anyway.

I am free most days. We need to figure out what days/weekends would work for most people. And how soon do we want to have it? Maybe a day in February? Evening USA time works well for me as it's about lunch time here in Australia. A Friday or a Sunday evening (US Eastern time) would be preferable as then I know SilverfromOZ can join in too. Anyway, please discuss/poll amongst yourselves! =D

I'm all for a bwint chat session! Type-chat or voice-chat, it doesn't matter to me. Friday nights or Sunday nights are probably best seeing as I usually disappear over the weekend. It's the only time I get a chance to see my boyfriend. After football season is probably best for me though seeing as I will most definitely be watching the Superbowl next weekend!!!! No chatting during football!

Anyways. A reason to get Skype! I'm totally down for that. Been putting it off mostly due to not thinking I'd be talking to anyone on it. Looks like I was totally wrong. Awesome.

Gonna go get that bad boy now. As for a chit-chatty date, I'm good for whenever, really. It's how I roll.
