The first episode I saw was, I think, "The Web". My younger sister (who was only 7) called me to come watch, because there was a "Chee-tah!" on TV, and she knew that cheetahs were my favourite animal. So I did. Didn't take me a second to realize it was a CGI cartoon show and not a nature show, but after seeing a few minutes of the episode, I was hooked. Didn't know I was gonna be this hooked for 10 years, though. O_o

I first saw the first two minutes of Beast Wars pt 1 one day and about three minutes of Beast Wars pt 2 and wasn't interested. Later, I watched Equal Measures and was hooked because I realized it wasn't a show where two important characters find a team of nobodies and start a war.

I caught the entire episode of Beast Wars Part 1.

Didn't get into the entire series until I saw Power Surge a few months later, though.

The first episode I ever saw was "The Web" and I fell in love with Cheetor right away. At first it was like "OMG!!! A talking cheetah!!" and then I just fell in love with his reckless childish attitude. The second episode I saw was "Equal Measures".

As I watched more episodes I just loved the whole show more and more. So yeah, Cheetor's the big reason I got hooked on Beast Wars.

My brother was channel surfing one morning and he caught a CGI cartoon where the animals happened to transform. Turned out to be a new Transformers show because we were familiar with G1. It also turned out to be the first time they aired Beast Wars Part 1, so we were lucky to catch it. Immediately, I was hooked. I saw Rattrap and loved him. Loved Rhinox too. Then as the season went on, Optimus grew on me. But I fell in love with the CGI and voice acting, so I never stopped watching the series. Even when we went on vacation, I made sure I got up early and could find the channel. LoL

Ah, meeeeemories. :D

The first episode i saw was Beast Wars 1 as i saw it from start to finish in order. On my own initiative after hearing BW jokes and reading the one or two fanfics on occasion over the years and finally one day deciding to give it a go and see what all the talk was about. I'm glad i did! 8)

My first ep was the second one they aired. I saw Dinobot on the land-bridge and I was like "A VELOCIRAPTOR! ZOMG!" because I was a dinosaur-obsessed geek throughout much of my childhood.

And then he transformed into a robot and attacked a giant gorilla, so my brain exploded with cool. I was instantly hooked and watched every night after that, thus proving the theory that the only way to hold my attention for any reason is to involve robot-dinosaurs and laserbeams.

Hmmm, I can't remember the exact episode, but it was one of the early ones so I didn't miss too much. I think I was just channel surfing and happened to catch a glimpse of CGI. I had loved Reboot and so I decided to go back and watch the new CGI show. I saw Cheetor and was instantly hooked. It just blew my mind to see a 3D talking cheetah (I loved big cats when I was younger, leopards, panthers, cougars, cheetahs, I still do as a matter of fact), then I saw Megatron and loved the show even more (evil genius = ZOMG awesome). Eventually all of the characters grew on me.

Heh, I don't think any of us realized just how long this show would stick with us.

The first episode I saw was either BW part 1 or chain of command ( I'm still trying to remember exactly which). It was on a local channel.
I didn't mind it that much 'till I saw it again on cartoon network and there's where I got hooked.

And just like OOP said: those really were the memories
I really miss 'em! [/quote]

First episode I saw was Power Surge. It was the first time I'd ever seen any type of Transformers show and I thought the CGI was pretty awesome compared to some of the standard animated shows out there.

After that I saw Gorilla Warfare as well as the original starter episodes and I was hooked.

I can't remember the "coming soon" advertisment now, but YTV had used the title screen with "Beasties; Transformers" in it. The "Transformers" part gave my brother and I a very stong sense of dejavu (sp?), so we decided to check out this new TF thing. I was addicted from "Beast Wars part 1" onward.

Mildy OT, but... Now that I think about it... does anyone know when G1 was last aired? And if it was before '87, were there any other TF series on air between '87 - '91, '92? Somewhere around that time..?
