Nice, Dragon. I can't wait to see that finished. What kind of paint are you going to use?

I was going to enter my painting of TM Megatron into the contest but since I don't think I'll be attending this year's BC because I'm going to the MechaCon instead, I won't be entering it. *sigh* Oh well. Good luck!!! I like what you have planned out so far!

I'll be finishing up the other paintings I'm working on in a week or so. One for BW and one for Spirit. And then there are other drawings I want to do. So much to do and so little time! >.< LoL

Thanks for the commentary. As for the paint, it will be acrylic. I dont have the patience for oils..

Now.. to get what I've drawn on paper.. to look right on the canvas board. :?

*steps on the loser Guest* Can someone ban this guy? He's making obsurd and profand posts. :x

You're welcome, Dragon. I use acrylics for my paintings too. I just hate how they dry so fast. I might switch to oils since I do a lot of blending.

Ah, of course. I just draw on the canvas first, though it's harder to cover the pencil marks with the light colors. Heh.

had a looser plunder the thread huh? ... Hrm. Lovely.

Anyhow, as for acrylics you can buy additives such as retarders that make the paint dry alot slower. So that may help your annoyance with how quick they dry.

Then with the canvas, i'm slowly drawing it on. I just had to do concept sketches first because I hadn't drawn tigers in ages.. And hadn't taken a crack at Tigatron before either. Wanted to have an idea in my mind as to what I wanted him to look like. May take me a while. .but i'll get it to where I want it, eventually.

Ah, of course! Thumbnails! I do those all the time. ^.^ They MADE us do tons of those in college. >.< LoL But they're good to use to get your ideas down on paper. *nods*

In highschool I used some sort of median with acrylic to make it shiny and not dry so fast, but I can't remember what it was slagging called! I go to Micheal's all the time and I don't recognize anything that I used those few years ago. Curse my horrible memory!!! :x
