Beast Wars International has its own (new!) store!

Where you can post announcements and other cool things. Doesn't have to be BW-related.

Beast Wars International has its own (new!) store!

Unread post by Sapphire »

Hi all,

I know I've been absent from updating lately, but that doesn't mean I've not been working on the site in some way. I'm not on vacation, I'm just taking a break to do other things for a while, one of which was organizing stuff to put on the stall Bwint had at the UK Transformer convention. Just weeks after the online store opened, I was promoting the site by advertising examples of the merchandise you could buy from it. The t-shirts, mugs and hats (amongst other things) all sport the adorable chibis that our own Blaze Raptor has created (see her chibis here: http://www.bwint.net/solarblazechibis.htm ) For the better part of a day I was standing behind that table and telling every passer by about our cool site in the hopes it would generate enough interest that we could raise the $120 needed each year to pay for webhosting. I also hoped I might make a profit on that 120$ so I could earn back the $100 *I* spent to get all the merchandise to England, never mind the printing of the poster, leaflets and business cards. So far, my efforts and the online store have earned me... $0. Not a cent. o_o

Anyway, here's the store: http://www.cafepress.com/bwinternational So if you like what you see and have a few bucks to spare, please buy something...anything. All the money will go towards the running of the site. If you have any suggestions for what other merchandise we could add, please feel free to let me know. I'll be adding black t-shirts soon. Also, Blaze is working on some more character chibis, so if you're waiting for your favourite character to pop up on the shop, then that's cool, too. All support is very much appreciated. Come on; let's see Bwint.net and all it stands for survive another year!

Sapph, watch for a PM to come from me within the next day or so, unless something on my side goes glitchy. *HUG!*

Cafepress ships internationally, and I ordered the merchandise I put on display at Auto Assembly from the USA, and everything arrived quickly and perfectly wrapped and intact. I can't guarantee it will be perfect for everyone, but they seemed to have a good package system.
