Pre-BW Names?

We know that characters often rename themselves often a major change occurs (Megatron -> Galvatron, for instance).

I'm thinking, what would Cheetor, Rhinox and the others have called themselves prior to adopting a beast mode?

Optimus Primal - Remains the same IMHO

Cheetor - Velocity perhaps?

Rattrap - Scavenger/Scrapper maybe? It's often joked that he's digging around piles of junk so Scavenger/Scrapper might fit

Dinobot - ?

Megatron - Remains the same IMHO

Terrorsaur - ?

Scorponok - ?

Waspinator - ?

Tarantulas - ?

Rhinox - ?

Blackarachnia - ?

Silverbolt - Remains the same IMHO

Depth Charge - Probably would remain the same, not sure

Inferno - Doesnt require changing since his name isnt derived from his beast mode

Quickstrike - Same deal as Inferno

Actually, in the cases of Rattrap, Rhinox, Cheetor and Dinobot, there's a chance that we'll be finding out their original names at BotCon '06, probably in the Convention-exclusive souvenir comic-&-program (the story is taking place before the theft of the Golden Disk). Also, Wicked Woman had pointed out ina music video at a past BotCon, Dinobot's previous name was Dynamo, and I think a couple other characters' previous names were also revealed. Unfortunately for me, I haven't seen this video...

Oh Cool! Keep me posted on that as I'm kind of interested for a fic that I'm writing up at the moment and I doubt I can afford to attend Botcon at all since theres a gigantic puddle in between me and there =\

I want to see the video. However, Outtsy, are you sure that you've not mistaken Dynamo for the pre-BW name of Dinobot in a fanfic? One of the fanfics here has Dinobot named Dynamo.

You'll need to ask WW about that video. I don't know if she's seen it (I definitely haven't), and I hardly ever read fanfic (too many people get so anal about it, that it's not much fun anymore), but she's the one who informed me about the BotCon video in another thread some time ago.
