BW: Transmetals (Playstation and Nintendo games)

The Beast Wars: Metals game on the PS1 was actually pretty fun. The graphics were pretty decent for the time and they had most of the original voice actors. Actually, if I recall, the only characters they didn't have the original voices for were Quickstrike and Rhinox, and you never even played as Rhinox.

Each character had a standard melee attack which is a little more powerful than the standard ranged attack, the style of which varies from character to character, and a charged shot, which also varies. Rattrap, for example, shouts 'Watch the fireworks!' and lets out a spinning disc while Silverbolt shouts 'Eat this!' triumphantly while launching a flurry of missiles.

Each character also has a super attack which can only be used when they've landed a lot of hits. Optimus will shout 'Prime guns, fire!' and shoot his big guns and Megatron says 'All power to primary weapon!' and fires a big radius of destruction.

There's a variety of unlockable characters including Blackarachnia and Ravage.

But yeah, all in all, a fun game!

Oh I remember Rattrap's "Watch the fireworks lines" I tell ya it was fun beating Megs as RT in that game.

I saw a preview for one, Airazor and Blackarachnia sound alike. I was gonna get one of the games when they first came out but I never got around to it ^^;
