From what i've read about those two. Mudflap is hyperactive and Skids doesn't know when to shut up.

Those are the namesBeastbot wrote:Those are Mudflap and Skids, the twins.
But Mudflap will confuse the hell out of me, since there was a Decepticon Mudflap in the first movie's line, I may need to rename him Erector or something...

They're supposed to go with their not-attractive faces, apparently (a quick search at TFW2005 should show you their models and/or toys, if you're interested). They're the only two characters of this movie that have me worried, they very well could be REALLY annoying.Tor wrote:Mudflap and Skids?
....not really attractive names... Sunstreaker and Sideswipe sound alot more... anyways, thanks Beastbot!

Oh dear.... They've got me worried, not because they have the quasimodo look... just cuz if they have that can-do kid attitude... Cheetor and Hot Rod at least looked the part...Beastbot wrote:They're supposed to go with their not-attractive faces, apparently (a quick search at TFW2005 should show you their models and/or toys, if you're interested). Anyway thanks again BeastBot.
So Er... I don't THINK anyone has posted this video. Its for anyone who wants to see snippets of Micheal Bays films, Transformers 2 included.

I do have to say, I am REALLY looking forward to this movie. I'm going to be reserving judgment on Mudflap and Skids for a while, but I think that what we might even (speculatively) are the next and younger generation of Autobots, younger than Bee without doubt, who seems to be more or less around the age of a 20 year old. These two seem to have the stature and looks of half-grown Irish Wolfhound puppies. Big ol' eyes and HUGE paws (hands and feet), indicative of physical immaturity.
And maybe maturity in general. But I might like the ideal of Bee not being the youngest for once. It's going to be very interesting to see how these two fit in with the overall storyline.
For reference:

But I am VERY MUCH SO looking forward to seeing Megatron having a field day in reminding why he's boss, and Starscream isn't. That was seriously missing from the first film, but I can see why Megs would have been a touch pressed for time, skipping out on the punishment of Screamer at disappointing/disappointing the Tyrant.

Oh I thought people here would know thisNight-Hunter wrote:I agree with you on that i never really understood what Megs meant by "you fail me yet again" But Megs puts the smack down on Starscream can't wait to see that. Oh btw that puppy is cute i wanna take it home with me.
Starscream has always been portreyed as a a usurper who wants to lead the decepticons, and in doing so he often has machinations in play, that makes him seem incomeptant, but were alwaysa just ways of him trying to defeat megatron
What i dont understand about this film is that Megatron...well...kinda died in the first movie, just like Blackout did...so....HOW????

News-- Frank Welker, the voice of the original Soundwave, has been confirmed to be reprising his role for the live-action movie.
Also, to answer Aesir:
*SPOILER ANSWER*
Decepticons are sent to the bottom of the ocean (it's presumed by Soundwave, and we don't know yet from leaked details quite how they're able to survive the depths) to rescue Megatron. He's repaired via cannibalized Brawl parts, and since Blackout is down there and is a loyal soldier, I imagine Soundwave figures "Why not?" and brings him back online as well. Perhaps the remnant Allspark energy in Megatron's chest is a factor in bringing them both back, I don't know.

So... you're saying 'what ever doesn't kill you makes you stronger' may apply to the Transformers?Beastbot wrote:News-- Frank Welker, the voice of the original Soundwave, has been confirmed to be reprising his role for the live-action movie.

I seriously can't wait. I plan to watch it early opening day, it's so worth it.
