Transformers: Universe (Redone)

I started this awhile ago and recently did a few more pages. Basically, this is a rewrite of the Transformers: Universe comics (take place after Beast Machines and the Wreckers comics) that were never finished (and that I wasn't all that happy with). Here are the comic pages I've drawn so far. Since I go back to school in a couple of days, I probably won't have any more pages done for awhile. I also apologize for my somewhat bad art and pretty bad handwriting.

hm. interesting. i've never read the original TF comics before, so really i cant make any comparisons.
but i do have a few questions....

-why was it only Silverbolt and Rattrap who got, uh..unformatted?

-which Dinobot is that? a G1 dinobot, or a dinobot i have no knowldge of? Xp

-And is that supposedly purpple bad guy...who i think it is? (starts with a T...)

sigh. as happy as it makes me that Primal is coming back (right? say yes! you cant do this to me!!!) poor Cheetor didnt get enough tme to be leader. shame

got any links to the original?

That is a bit of a side-effect of me not liking to color things with my hands and also just staying somewhat true to the real Transformers: Universe comics. (link). Rattrap wasn't reformatted in the original Transformers: Universe comics, but I wanted to included him in the story, so I reformatted him into a repaint of his old TM body. Cheetor and Blackarachnia also got reformatted. As for why the designers of the Transformers: Universe toyline chose certain molds for characters, you'd have to ask them.

I know I can't really make Rattrap and Silverbolt much different, but I tried to add some differences in Cheetor & Blackarachnia from their Beast Machines appearances.

Well, no...not exactly. In the original comics, he was a version of Tigerhawk from another dimension, but I've given him a new origin in my series so he isn't really Tigerhawk at all, but someone created based off Tigerhawk.

Don't worry too much. While Optimus is coming back, I'll still try to give Cheetor some more leading roles.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that, but this comic will have links to the Botcon Primeval Dawn comics, Botcon Wreckers comics, Beast Machines, and nods to the actual Transformers: Universe comics.

looking forward to see where this is going! yay for Cheetor!

Now, I think I see who you mean. He isn't purple any more though...

A lot of the "new bodies" don't look too different (none of them really going by just shape). The details or color are what really sets some of them apart.
