Hey everyone! I have been a fan of Beast Wars since I saw the first episode on YTV (I live in Canada). But as I grew up I slowly forgot about BW. My interest in BW was sparked again when a few months ago I uncovered my old transmetal Tarantulas figure (in perfect condition btw) from the storage of old stuff in my closet.

I found this site pretty randomly when I was searching for BW fansites on the net. I liked it and decided to join. And if you can't tell from my sig I am a Rattrap fan

er... This place is way too fun for it's own good. Anyways, there was some insane protocol layed down by some insane person that states that I must warn you of BWINT containing the following:

Hidden malicious penguins,

nuts,

and flying frozen waffles, generally flying because they are thrown by the hidden penguins.

its nice to see yet another BW fan that has reawoken their spark (ooh! also a ref to the show! mwahahaha) of fandom and joined this glorious site to keep it all alive!

you WILL be glomped and tackled, i must warn you. you are a Rattrap fan (MOUSEY! ^^) and your sig is cool. beware the Rattrap fangirls,

Hi Trueblue! You've already scored cool points with me for liking the colour blue and Rattrap. That rat is my alltime favourite BW character. ^_^

Welcome to BWINT. You've joined at the right time, since I am on the brink of updating the site again for the first time in a while. I've been without Internet for 3 months, which was hugely frustrating. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your stay here on the forums. They're a crazy bunch, but they're all very friendly. ^_^

By the way is my sig working properly? Its a PNG and its transparency does not work on all Internet Explorers.

Greetings, TrueBlue! It's about time I get to boss around another Rattrap fan!

In response to your signature, "Shut up, Rattrap!"

Here, have some cheese flavored waffles! You're lucky they aren't flying at you, though.

Rattrap's my second favorite from Beast Wars, so that means that you rock.

But, obviously, I'm a bigger fan of Primal.

You signature's background does appear to be transparent (through my IE, anyway), TrueBlue, which is awesome! I love the picture of Rattrap and his infamous quote in the Beast Wars font. I've been trying to figure out how to make transparent backgrounds for a long time now without succeeding. What's a PNG? Is that anything I can do in Photoshop?

Thanks for the welcome. I think PNG has higher quality then normal JPEG images and it has the transparency properties of GIF. To make an image with transparent background just follow these steps:

Click on File -> New and when the properties open up under contents select transparent. And you know the checkered background in the image in Photoshop? If you don't fill that up it remains transparent when you save it as a PNG. I am still using Photoshop 7 so it may not be exactly the same. Let me know if you have any problems.

Thank you so much for the help on using the transperancy! Mine is still outdated to Photoshop 7 as well so that should work just fine. I had a feeling it would be something as simple as that. XD Again, thank you!

Hey TB! *waves* Welcome to BWint. Yur sig works quite fine on my end (and what a neat sig it is

) and some of the flying waffles don't acheive flight from hidden penguins but actually have their own anti-gravity fields instead. If you happen to be mauled by one you'll be bouncing around forever...or just become insane. Like the rest of us here *nods*

And a quick sign-off question, but you didn't happen to name yourself after the song "True Blue"? Cause that song is just pwnsome.
