Reasons why we love Megatron!
Pacerpaw:
This Megatron is worthy
to carry the name of his ancestor
and is a great character to behold in
action.
His cool-headed intelligence, wits,
cunning and the frequent subtle manipulations of others was great to
watch and sometimes made you cheer him on even if you happened to root
for the Maximals in general.
Megatron's cultivated manners and
diabolical charm, not to mention his awesome voice also contributes to
his greatness and it's no wonder he is a fan favorite of so many in
the Transformer fandom.
------------------------------------------------------ Starath: -- He’s a formidable warrior and leader. When he gives orders they are followed… most of the time. He has tons of patience too, not only for dealing with his traitorous and inept crew but for planning slowly and carefully, step by step. More than once in the series we saw that he’s planned and predicted things behind the scenes that actually happen just the way he wants them to. He’s a smart bot! ^^ -- His voice. If I could wrap myself up in it I’d be happy forever…. It’s low, smooth and promising, but at the same time it hides a much darker, dangerous agenda. When he gets mad we can hear that agenda loud and clear: “I’m going to get what I want and if you’re in my way, prepare to meet the consequences!” -- His Transmetal form was my absolute favorite. It fit him the best. It was powerful and stylish. Woo! -- We saw it only a few times, but he obviously has some sense of humor. “When expecting booby traps… always send a boob in first.” LOL! He had some really great lines. -- He’s smart, big, strong, just plain adorable…. How could you possibly go wrong?
------------------------------------------------------ Sapphire: Megatron is by far the coolest, most intelligent, most charismatic villain in the cartoon world. He's a brilliant tactician, a quick-thinker, excellent at scheming and plotting and of course he's highly intelligent, too. Not only does Megatron have many good mental qualities, he is powerful, too. His beast mode rocks and he especially looks fearsome in Transmetal form. He turned into a dragon in season three. Dragons are cool! He was responsible for some of the best lines and speeches in the show. He always sounds eloquent and cultivated while at the same time dominant and in-charge. He very nearly won the Beast Wars! He came really close, which is a credit to his brilliance. ------------------------------------------------------ Arachnid Champion:
1. Evil mastermind. Those are always welcome.
2. A stable, sensible (generally) evil mastermind.
Those are hard to come by.
3. Second most intelligent character in the series,
tied with Rhinox (Tarantulas outstrips him a bit). Shame that his
troops were either treacherous or incompetent.
4. Seemed to somehow carry a tone reminiscent of
real-world religion later in the series... especially after he gained
the dragon beast mode. It seemed as though he was a near-mythical
harbinger of apocalypse, yet thought that he was a savior. And in Beast
Machines, he did attain de facto godhood over Cybertron. Quite
interesting.
5. Almost completely fearless, which I think is one
reason Rampage hated him so much. The crab could just never
get to him.
6. Has great potential for the exploration of his
past in fanfiction. However, I've never seen any.
7. Has enough quirks (rubber duck, "yesss,"
etc.) to flesh (or metal) him out and prevent him from being a stock
evil mastermind.
8. Impossible to keep down for any length of time.
Even after abject defeat at the end of Beast Wars, he
returned.
------------------------------------------------------ Jim: 1. Who else in the known universe could be so evil to the core and charming at the same time? 2. I've never seen another bad guy leader forgive multiple traitors so many times as him. 3. David Kaye does his voice! 4. The sound effect when Megatron transforms in his dragon form is fantastic! 5. It's one of my life long goals to do Megatron's voice, I wish I could! ------------------------------------------------------ Cinder-claw 1. Loved his first Transmetal beast mode. T-Rex has always been my favourite dinosaur. 2. He’s intelligent (unlike some villains I’ve seen in other cartoons). 3. He knows how to strategically plan his attacks. He thinks before he does things and doesn’t just dive in head-first.

Reasons why we love Megatron! Zucca: 1: He is singularly, the most memorable villain I've ever seen. (And I've seen a lot!) 2: He is intelligent, devious and quick to act. 3: He is a patriot of sorts, vying for Predacon liberation through military means, not Diplomatic as the Tripredicus council goes for. 4: He has a superbly lovable speech pattern. 5: He's a brilliant tactician. 6: Even when plotting the Maximals downfall, he still is able to put time aside for an energon bath with his rubber ducky. ^_^ Megatron gasps. "What?! How did you know about that?!" He growls. Zucca shrugs. "Dun ask me, I'm just a Beast Wars fan." 7: He may not show it, but he cares about his troops. 8: Who can resist a purple dinosaur? ------------------------------------------------------ OOP: Megs is probably my favorite villain of all time. Yes, I place him even above Magneto and Vegeta. LoL First, because he's a Transformer. Der. Second, because he talks to himself and is actually quite a comedian. :D Wait! The list goes on! He has a rubber ducky. ;) To me, he is the most ruthless, merciless, and best strategist ("Strategory" as Bush would say, LOL) a leader of bad guys can possibly be. He has one of the coolest beast modes; specifically his TM and TMII. His voice is awesome. ------------------------------------------------------ Freed54: I would love to join I like Megs because of the way he talks yesssssss also because when he's TM he looks really cool that's why I want to join Black Baron:

(although his troops are not) ------------------------------------------------------ Kanns: Why I worship Megatron? That's an easy one! He is an amazing leader, if he had the right Predacons at him side he would be unstoppable, but most of them are traitors. He only keeps them by his side because he needs as many Predacons as he can to defeat the maximals. His voice just makes you want to hear it over and over again. The fact that he's purple is a big plus. Purple's cool. Megatron never gives up, he just delays everything till he can strike again at the right moment. The way he says "yesss" all the time just makes me giggle with joy. Oh Yesss. He doesn't have any emotions towards his troopers and that helps him a lot in battles because he looks for himself not for the others. He's quite an intelligent bot. Always has a genius plan, and steals away most of the protoforms that fall on Earth. His only goal is to win the beast wars and conquer Cybertron. What's wrong with that, it's in his nature. He is a character that would always be remembered. |
