Under Megatron's strict orders to stay inside the base; Rampage left for the ocean. Not really caring about what the tyrant did about his disobedience. He could feel the pull of Depth Charges spark, even from the confines of the Darkside.

I tried to kill the pain
But only brought more

It was not long after his arrival that he heard his playthings cry.

"X! Tonight you die!"

Rampage laughed jovially, "Is that so? Then come and try, if you will old friend."

Lunging at him Depth Charge brought out his gun, aiming for his spark cavity. Rampage allowed him, but deflected the shot at the last second, instead, making it hit his arm forearm.

"Is that the best you can do?" He chuckled, "Even the children on Omicron put up a better fight!" He taunted.

"I'll show you my best, creep!"

He allowed Depth Charge to get a few punches in, still taunting him; driving him.

"So much hate, but where is your fear? Surely there is something you fear."

A large blast from Rampages missile cannon threw Depth Charge into a forest of seaweed.

"There is nothing to fear. I've lost all sense of feeling since Omicron." The now invisible ray yelled back.

Rampage waited for his friend to re emerge from the seaweed.

"Are we playing hide-and-seek now?"

But only the silence of the ocean answered him. Moving quickly Rampage blundered through the first few feet of seaweed before coming to a tiny clearing. The seaweed had been recently cleared; not even new growth showed. A sudden shadow caused him to look up, but he had little time to react to a jet-propelled ray. Transforming as he hit the Predicon crab, Depth Charge drew an energon blade. Not unlike the one used to cut out the immortals spark, and pushed it against Rampages half-spark.

"I promised you, it ends here!"
