It also started because we were trying to control things like ITFatalist. If you've made more than 5 posts, and know you're going to make more than 5 posts in your time here, then you really don't need to use this thread. You can leave this sticky for new members.

If you were active and later became a lurker, we still know you aren't a spambot. We can see your post count by your name. You are allowed to make normal posts without reintroducing yourself.
