you know how in the beast wars series, they never really specified about how old any of them were?
okay, it was onvious that cheetor was the young-un and sometime or other it was identified that rattrap was one of the older ones...but has anyone REALLY considered it thouroughly?
here's what ive deduced (well, at least what iv managed... ) maximals
optimus: 48
rhinox: 50-ish
rattrap: early 50s
cheetor: 16/17 - 19
dinobot: late 40s/early 50s
tigatron: 42
air razor: 35 - 39
silverbolt: 29
depth charge: 45
bearing in mind theses are ages in terms of human years...i no some of them might not be compatible (eg air razor and tigatron, silver and black but since when did age matter, huh?) but these are all guesstimates (estimated guesses)...
u do not have to give reasons but you can if you want...i dont want to at the moment, bcause i want to give evry one a chance to either agree or disagree with me, and to justify your reasons

Optimus: YES! Someone else thinks he was in his thirties! Just the way he and Rattrap were interacting in the first episode, it gave me the sense that it really *was* his first command and giga-bummer, look what happened! While it would be stressful for any leader, anyone much older or more experienced might have had a little more respect and cooperation from his crew.
Cheetor: 19-21. If I'm not totally whacked out on lack of sleep, I think that's the age range a lot of us are in or near? Would he not fit in to this group perfectly? Also, and I think this was argued before in WW and I's phantom thread, why would someone as young as 15 or 16 be on a deep-space exploration mission? Irrisponsible, maybe, but he really doesn't seem like a high-school drop-out (since we're comparing this to human ages).
Rattrap: 34. Street-wisened, yet young enough to still be able to flirt with young, hot femmes.
Rhinox: 40's.
Dinobot: Now this one's hard to pin. If he's older than Rattrap, he can hide it well. If he's younger, he can act pretty mature. ... Make that "act older"; neither of them act maturly.
Airazor: 20's
DC: I agree with Jagna, 45 seems right for him.
BA: The universal "29".
SB: Primus, if he didn't remind me of an x-bf...! Normally I'd think he was a bit older, but because of the "naive" and "sappy" similarities, I'll say 22, 23.

??? Why on earth would you think that? I'd say it's pretty hard to assign an age to Waspy, but he's most likely quite young...
Optimus Primal definitely seems a bit "younger" than Optimus Prime, for sure.
I think people are saying Airazor is old because of her deep womanly as opposed to girlish voice... but I'm pretty sure she's meant to be "young", it says she sees Rhinox as her "uncle".
I don't really think you can assign human ages to Transformers in general, though. I mean, Kup would be pretty old in "Human" standards but he's still physically pretty great.

See, that's silly, as most TFs are practically "immortal" in a sense anyway, they live for millions or at the very least thousands of years(if you're counting continuities that got rid of the "MILLIONS OF YEARS" nonsense, I mean, what was Shockwave doing up there for Millions of years?).
