PLEASE READ THIS POST BEFORE VOTING

After some heated quick moving discussion and brainstorming, it's come down to a selection of ideas that appear to be most popular amongst us.

Current ideas are quite varied.

Idea 1 - Prequel Miniseries

The Prequel Miniseries idea involves the Beast Warriors recalling their past and using their memories to drive their actions in the present.

Idea 2 - Fleshing out Beast Wars

The idea of fleshing out Beast Wars was discussed Here and involves fleshing out season 2. This is a fairly attractive idea as both Season 2 and 3 were both quite short when compared to Season 1.

Idea 3 - Season 4

Essentially, a fourth Season of Beast Wars. It was mentioned Here but not discussed in depth.

Idea 4 - Nanowars

Yes, a shameless plug for my Nanowars proposal. So Sue me! Posted Here but not discussed very much at all >_>

Please cast your votes according to your preference. If your preferred idea doesnt make it, dont fret! Once we've finished writing this project we can always move on to another idea and with any luck it might be the one you're hanging for.

I'll have to say that at this point, I'm still undecided. I'm equally loving all three ideas. I'd have to say that I'm leaning more towards a prequil, but I'm still trying to figure out what I'm thinking would make the best impact on our community.

I'm extremely interested in making Season 2 and 3 any longer since everything seemed to be crammed into those last two seasons. I wanna see more of da Fishy Depth Charge!

As much as I love the idea of expanding Beast Wars, I've always been interested in a prequel. And although we're getting a comic of that, I was thinking we'd go even further than that... A prequel to the prequel. XD

Like...

I always imagined that long before Beast Wars, Dinobot would constantly enter in underground gladiator battles, which would be where he honed in on his warrior-ness and honor. But then one of his opponents that he killed turned out to be really close to one of the higher-up Predacons, hence why Dinobot was considered and imprisoned like a criminal.

Rattrap's always been a bit tricky. Something to do with demolitions, I'm guessing. Like, clearing away old buildings to make way for new ones. Though how he goes from that to exploration is beyond me. XD

Rampage and Depth Charge... Self-explainitory. Though I'm getting really wicked WW-like designs for them... Like tank treads hanging off of Rampage's back instead of crab claws... [/randomness]

Megatron's a fun one. It could always start off with him constantly being oppressed by the Maximals, and just constantly having to bite his tongue about it. Before ultimately, he would be imprisoned for a 'crime', and then he'd just snap, and decide to do things his way. Of course, he'd have to get out of prison, first. He devises his ultimate plan when a certain, scheming inmate *coughTarantulascough* tells him about the Golden Disks, and what they contain. Then the breakout is planned. Dun dun DUUUN!

For Optimus Primal, I kinda see him as a college professor before he became an explorer. Though he's obviously not on Rhinox's level, he could still be seen as a teacher. In my eyes, anyways. Then the Maximal High Council calls for him to assist on an upcoming exploring mission, n' such.

Ok yeah, I got waaay too much time on my hands. XD

Given that we've got 12 votes of 16 or so people, it would seem that Idea 2 has won out considerably unless the four remaining people to vote decide to all go for Idea 1.

As it stands currently the vote is 3 - 9 in favor of Idea 2.

Some of us will be going to botcon and other related TF activities, for them I wish a lot of luck and fun times.

For those of us left, we begin spinning plots and character development

I'll create a thread sometime tommorow (when I've had some much needed sleep) for discussion of extending season two and possibly three if we feel up to it.

For those that voted in favour of Idea 1, no need to fret. Once this project is completed to everyones satisfaction I see no reason why we cant move on to other projects and ideas.

Dear Razor One,
I just wanted to tell you that although I voted for season 4 (though it was obvious from the beginning that idea wouldn't gather the most votes, I still wanted to share my opinion ;D) I really love the Nanowars idea. Maybe some of us could gather again and write that too some time later.
