WARNING!

There is gonna be a lot of material in here. Grab your reading glasses, a pot of coffee, and anything else that will help you focus. I've had months to think about everything I put in here, so dont despair.

Further Note

The ideas presented herein are my ideas. I'm in no way advocating that this is the way we must go, but merely presenting it as a possibility, and I encourage you to put any ideas you might have on the table as well.

Part 1: Characters

Aurora

Maximal Leader, she is possessed by a fierce desire to rescue those in dire need. Upon learning of Callistos plans, she fights tooth and nail to ensure that they never succeed, seeing her actions not those of a warrior but a protector.

Aurora’s respect and reverence for life in all its forms is at complete odds with Callisto. She will often refrain from outright killing an enemy if she can devise a means in which they can be captured or disabled instead.

Aurora is a first generation maximal, amongst the first few thousand to come online for the first time. Despite her relative age she is still a fairly young individual. Even so, she is at times overcome with a fervent, if irrational, desire to prove her worthiness as a leader not only to her crew but to herself as well.

She finds the idea of war and the military offensive and directly associates them with needless death and destruction. Despite this trait, she understands that Callisto cannot be reasoned with on any level, only fought to the bitter end.

*She possesses an anomalous lasercore, one in which two sparks share but one body. A stable doublespark is undetectable by normal means; an unstable one however, is and must be separated before death.

Classification – Maximal Leader

Relationships

Electron

Electron is her biggest worry and a constant pain in the circuits for Aurora. His insubordination and flagrant contempt for authority makes him, at times, more dangerous then the predacons themselves. She views Electron with the attitude of a concerned parent whose child will not listen to reason. She is often torn between disciplining the rogue maximal and allowing the consequences of his actions teach him for her.

Cryo

Cryo is Aurora’s closest friend. Their friendship stretches back so far that she can hardly remember a time without him. In times of crisis or personal distress, Aurora will look to Cryo for advice and guidance. His occasionally icy disposition grates her a little, but it is something she’s grown used to over the years and even occasionally relies upon.

Proteus

Aurora is amazed by Proteus intelligence and willingness to survive. Although a small part of her mistrusts the predacon scientist, she finds herself constantly relying on him in tight situations that require the work of a genius. Despite all this, his mad scientist persona irks her, and his constant penchant for bickering with Electron is a frequent annoyance.

Razor One

Aurora finds Razor One’s penchant for thrill seeking a constant worry. In addition, she dislikes him merely for the fact that he is the only true soldier out of all of them, an occupation that she links with wanton destruction and death.

Electron

A pessimistic doubter, Electron “Volunteered” for service aboard the Andromeda, though we find later that this was his alternative to a prison sentence for violent assault against a predacon.

His hatred for predacons and authority often lands him in trouble and disrepute. He is a rebel without a cause save for his burning hatred of predacons.

He later becomes addicted to unstable energon, which has a narcotic effect if introduced in small amounts. He finds that he can fight faster, harder and smarter because of it, but side effects of absorbing this unstable energon is slowly killing his spark, making him cold and unsympathetic.

Classification – Navigator, Communications, Scrounger, Pessimist, “Rebel”

Aurora

Electron hates Aurora. He blames her for their current predicament and hates the authority that she wields. He feigns good graces as best he can because he knows that the only way out of her grip and away from a prison cell is through her, but he can often barely even contain himself. Although he will lap up her praise, he will just as quickly scoff at her criticism and advice, viewing himself above such things.

Cryo

Electron sees Cryo as Auroras lackey and as such dislikes him by association. The two occasionally get along however and Electron often values this time. Electron also values Cryo for occasionally sticking up for him, but feels he should do so more often.

Proteus

Electron hates Proteus for one reason and one reason alone. He is a predacon. He will often voice contempt for his ideas, his plans, and his abilities at every turn and will leap at any opportunity to enrage the predacon. Despite his hatred though, Electron realizes that Proteus is vital to their continued survival and as such tolerates him. Barely.

Razor One

Electron dislikes Razor One for the sole fact that he will staunchly defend Proteus when Electron gets on his case. He has a running competition with the scout on how many hits they can “Score” on the Predacons, though only Electron seems to keep score.

Cryo

A competent maximal, his forte is cold climate survival. Always realistic and calm, he’s a dependable ally and a formidable enemy. Having served with Aurora for many years, the two have a rapport which often excludes Electrons pessimism and whining.

Being second in command, he feels resentful at having to take command if Aurora should ever be put out of commission. Despite his competencies in battle, Cryo lacks the ability to think strategically and will make mistakes if called upon to lead.

Cryo has a history with Terminus that goes back many years when both were title prize fighters in the Cybertronian underground. Their last fight ended quite bitterly, especially for Cryo, who refuses to even acknowledge that he has a history with Terminus, let alone that particularly rough period of his youth.

Intelligence: 5.0
Speed: 6.0
Endurance: 10.0
Rank: 8.0
Courage: 9.0
Firepower: 10.0

Aurora

Cryo has been friends with Aurora for about as long as he can be bothered remembering. The two have a long standing friendship and respect for one another and a powerful bond that transcends all difficulties and opposition. The pair frequently relies on one another to pull them out of the fire.

Electron

Cryo views Electron as the younger brash youth that he once was long ago and attempts to give guidance to electron whenever he will listen. He is often exasperated when the petulant maximal rebuffs him and is utterly perplexed, and annoyed, at his plain and open bigotry towards Proteus.

Proteus

Cryo respects Proteus ingenuity and resourcefulness, but cannot help but feel suspicious of the Predacon mad scientist. Although he feels that the Predacons intentions are good and honorable, he feels that Proteus is holding something back or hiding things from his Maximal comrades. He also finds Proteus more… eccentric qualities to be baffling.

Razor One

Not Decided yet.

Proteus

*Having barely survived Callistos initial assault on the research base, he was rescued by Razor One and brought back online. Finding his comrades slaughtered and his research perverted, he created the maximal nanogrid to combat Callistos own nanogrid and to prevent Theta 4 from being destroyed.

A brilliant predacon scientist, he finds himself often torn between his research and his rage. He hates Callisto and everything she stands for, but is unable to fight.

His brilliance however, more then makes up for his inability to combat the enslaved predacons directly. He will often decipher his former associates’ research or create new devices that may, or may not, shift the tide of war into the maximals favour.

Classification – Scientist, Technical expert

Strength: 2.0
Intelligence: 10.0+
Speed: 2.0
Endurance: 3.0
Rank: 7.0
Courage: 2.0
Firepower: 1.0
Skill: 10.0+

Note:

Proteus skill and intelligence ratings of 10+ are due to his nature as a genius. He is essentially the Einstein or Newton of his time.

Relationships

Aurora

Proteus finds Aurora’s forthright attitude admirable, but finds her naiveté to be quite unsettling. He often finds himself guarding his words closely whenever speaking of experiments (whether his or not) that involved somewhat questionable ethics in fear of provoking “a typical Maximal reaction”.

Cryo

Proteus finds Cryo incredibly intimidating, often cringing back in fear when the larger, stronger maximal is angered. Proteus often finds himself being pushed to work harder and faster in tight situations by Cryo and resents this treatment to no end.

Electron

Proteus wants nothing more then for Electron to get off his case for once. Unfortunately the petulant young maximal never does, causing no end of grief, annoyance and occasionally woe for the predacon genius. Although he finds he can tolerate the majority of the Electrons snickering verbal abuse (and even dish some back on occasion) there are rare occasions where the Maximal will get under his skin and enrage the otherwise placid predacon.

Razor One

Razor One and Proteus share a special bond. Though the two are nigh polar opposites in nature, one a brash death-seeking youth and the other a calm thoughtful scientist, the two have quite literally been through hell together, having both survived Callistos initial purge of the Maximal base and survived, outnumbered, outgunned and out of hope until the arrival of Auroras team. Proteus is often grateful of Razor Ones staunch defense, finding him useful in putting Electron back in line or getting Cryo off his back. Proteus finds in Razor One a strong confidant, even if he is a Maximal, and will tell him certain things that he would tell no other Maximal.

Razor One

Note!

I realise, I know, and before you speak up, please read. I know the character is "Named after me" so to speak, but it is in fact the other way around. I envisioned this character (and a majority of the others) as early as late March. I named myself from him as I joined in late May this year. If you feel it's an issue, I'll be more then happy to change my name.

A Low ranking security officer at the research base, he managed to avoid being scrapped by Callistos’ assault team because he was on patrol. When he returned to find the base trashed and the science team killed, he quickly revived Proteus, the only survivor.

His main attribute is maneuverability and speed. This makes him incredibly difficult to hit in battle. Possessing sensitive optics and audio sensors, his prime role is recon. Unfortunately, Razor One has sacrificed valuable armor for this uncanny litheness, leaving him quite vulnerable if his enemies manage to actually land a hit.

A young maximal at heart, he has a knack for thrill seeking and Cavalier attitude to death that often gets him into trouble. Despite this, he gets on well with almost everyone on the team, the notable exception being Electron, who “Grinds his gears” with his incessant whining and morose attitude. He also often finds himself at loggerheads with Aurora, who views him with a certain amount of derision, because of all the Maximals present; he is the only soldier out of all of them.

Razor Ones cavalier attitude to death originates with his survival of the initial predacon assault. He feels that he should have died with his friends and wonders whether he’s already dead but hasn’t yet died.

Classification – Recon Specialist

Transformation

Razor One transforms into a nimble, light, fast and lightly armored hover tank, armed with twin chain cannons and a light rocket launcher weapon.

Contrary to what one may think, Razor One’s tank alt mode is built primarily to dodge and weave through enemy fire whilst raining punishment. Jump jets allow Razor One to quite literally fly over enemy formations, offering limited VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) ability more akin to a harrier jet then a tank.

In robot mode, Razor One possesses a plasma shotgun which can shred through most armor at close and medium ranges but becomes useless at long range.

Intelligence: 5.5
Speed: 7.5
Endurance: 7.0
Rank: 5.0
Courage: 9.0
Firepower: 8.0

Relationships

Aurora

Razor One finds Aurora a pain in the lug nuts to deal with. He finds that she too often tries the peaceful solution with an enemy that cannot be bargained nor reasoned with, and that his military solutions are frequently ignored in favour of such peaceful solutions. Even so, Razor One has a certain begrudging respect for Aurora, since she has after all held up incredibly well so far.

Proteus

Razor One and Proteus share a special bond, one borne of a burden shared. The twosome are often a tightly bound pair and little if anything can come between the two. Razor One admires Proteus intellect and ingenuity and feels that Proteus position in the maximal team is more important then his own life. To that end, Razor One would gladly sacrifice his life to save Proteus, but would hesitate in the case of others.

Electron

Razor One feels that Electron

Callisto

Callisto used to be Terminus loyal lieutenant, until she discovered a long buried virus deep within predacon coding. The Virus activated upon discovery, infecting her core consciousness and frying her logic circuits. The Callisto of old is long gone, now replaced by an insane and malevolent being. She has utilized the virus to enslave her former crewmates, forcing them to do her bidding or be exposed to untold of amounts of pain.

She views existence itself with utmost contempt and herself as a god. She feels that if she cannot mould and change reality according to her will then she will smash it aside and destroy it.

She views the nano network as her opportunity to ascend to the godhood that she views as her divine right, and will stop at nothing to achieve absolute victory.

Where Aurora respects and reveres life, Callisto reviles it. She despises any and all other life not of her creation, seeing herself as the only being with any right to exist.

Terminus

Former captain of the Avernus, he was responsible for re-supplying the research base on Thylos 4 and protecting predacon interests there.

Enslaved by his former crewmate Callisto, he feels a burning hatred for his former comrade in arms. He feels a deep guilt at terminating the researchers he was forced to kill and often has nightmares about that fateful day, and despite the virus that keeps him in line, he plots to destroy Callisto if it’s the last thing he does.

Terminus has a history with Cryo that he’s all too willing to bring up at any opportunity. Once a prize title fighter in the Cybertronian underground, he was defeated by Cryo. His defeat left him quite bitter and he longs for revenge against Cryo.

Technetium

Technetium was adversely affected by Callistos virus. Deranged and insane, he has somehow managed to retain his former technical abilities as primary engineer aboard the Avernus.

When not attempting to pervert the researchers’ labors into deadly weapons for Callisto, he is often bullying his fellows, viewing their attempts to resist Callistos virus as folly. He hates the maximals for resisting Callisto and will stop at nothing to destroy them.

His insanity exhibits itself in many forms. A nervous twitch, incoherent babbling, and at certain stressful times, especially if he feels he feels he’s failed Callisto, he can experience full blown hallucinations. These various insanities can work to his hindrance, or his advantage. His preferred insanity, however, is chuckling maniacally to himself.

Nightscape

Nightscape was a predacon secret agent sent by the tripredicus council to keep an eye on Terminus and the researchers on Thylos 4. Her forte is infiltration and sabotage. She’s good at her job and she knows it.

Although the virus has forced her to obey the commands of Callisto, she remains loyal to the tripredicus council, and utilizing her incredible self control, can occasionally resist the virus long enough to initiate her own Agenda.

She enjoys missions that require her unique stealth abilities and oftentimes the maximals will find her to be a formidable threat not because of her weapons, but because of her ability to evade their most sensitive of sensors until it’s too late. Despite her prowess on the battlefield though, Nightscape ultimately hates what she must do, as she knows she is being forced to serve against the tripredicus council. She views Callisto as a direct threat to the tripredicus council and will do what she must when she can to thwart Callistos plans.

Classification – Tripredicus Agent, Stealth infiltration expert

Delta Scion

Delta Scion was rebuilt from the remains of Nightscape by Callisto when she tired of her own soldiers’ incompetence. Built to be a coordination nexus for Callistos warriors, she possesses an incredible ability to parallel process, able to focus on over a thousand different tasks simultaneously. She also displays an array of psionic powers (*tasting* minds and *smelling* thoughts).

Originally she was linked psychically to her teammates, able to coordinate their movements directly. With her influence, Callistos team was indomitable, easily decimating opposition.

Callisto, however, planned for Delta Scion to be her “Heir”. Delta Scion, whom retained some of the persona of Nightscape, quickly discovered that this meant that should the worst happen to Callisto, she would have her spark extracted and Callisto would occupy her body.

Delta Scion quickly severed the psychic link between her and her rebuilt Predacon brethren and over the course of several days, purged Callistos control virus from her systems using nothing more then her own force of will.

Using the last of her energon reserves, she eventually made it to the Maximal base and surrendered to them unconditionally. It was under intense interrogation that the suppressed memories of her former life as Nightscape resurfaced. Delta Scion differentiates between herself and Nightscape, but feels sympathy for her former self, swearing that Nightscape will be avenged for what Callisto did to her.

Begrudgingly accepted as part of the Maximal team, she still bears her Predacon symbols with pride, she knows that Callisto is a threat to Maximal and Predacon alike and will stop at nothing to destroy Callisto once and for all.

Despite her pride in her Predacon heritage, Delta Scion feels a vacuous empty hole burnt within her. Having joined the maximals, she now knows that everything she held near and dear to her when she was Nightscape wasn’t worth a damn, that she was ultimately a pawn to greater forces. She also realizes that Callisto did more then simply rebuild her body. She feels no pain, no joy, no love and little else other then contempt, and an inkling of remorse, for the atrocities she committed under Callistos subversion.

Classification – Multi-tasking specialist, Tactical Advisor

Transformation

Callisto transforms into fast agile jet helicopter, capable of phenomenal speed or maneuverability. In her alt mode she possesses rocket launchers and cluster smart bombs.

In robot mode, she retains her impressive martial arts skills and energon daggers from her life as Nightscape. Her latent psychic powers are also more active in robot mode then they are in alt mode, suggesting that her physical form may somehow enhance or disrupt her latent psychic power. She also has a well hidden Spark Extractor built into her left arm, a throwback to her days as an unthinking slave to Callisto, and fully intends to use the extractor on Callisto should the opportunity arise.

Nitro

Nitro, as his name suggests, is an explosive character. He often snaps at things that should be brushed off, and most often quips lines that trigger the virus in his core consciousness to give him a jolt of blinding pain. He also happens to be an explosives expert, and enjoys utilizing the explosive properties of the naturally occurring Taedium.

Of all the predacons, he’s the only one brave enough, or foolish enough, depending on your point of view, to speak of hating Callisto openly. Callisto doesn’t seem to mind this however, as the jolt of pain he often experiences immediately after fills her with satisfaction.

He misses his freedom dearly and hopes to reclaim it, hopefully taking down a few maximals on the way. His hatred of maximals is only exceeded by his hatred of Callisto.

In combat he often gives himself over to throwing or firing incendiary devices, frag grenades etc. He is essentially a grenadier. Unfortunately he often finds his own grenades flying back at him, often with tragic results.

Oberon

Oberon is neither Maximal nor Predacon. He is a creation of Callisto, built from a maximal protoform and combined with the DNA of a long buried creature. Half Flesh, half Machine, he is told to have inherited the best of both worlds.

Upon his creation, Callisto decided to terminate Oberon simply because he could not be affected by her virus and thus not controlled. Oberon managed to escape, but was for all purposes a blank. His first memory was of betrayal and violence and by his own mother no less. He finds trust difficult.

Despite his dark origins, Oberon is a miracle of both science and nature. He does not require energon to function, though it does augment his systems to Cybertronian standards. When not subsisting off energon, he must eat and sleep as a natural organism must, and when living on energon, he is a tireless and unceasing warrior.

The flesh he possesses is perfectly married to the metallic frame of his protoform origins, veins and capillaries will melt into fluid tubes, an organic heart pumps a vile slush of blood and mech fluid, and his skin folds and melts about the exposed metallic parts of his body. He is to all cybertronians not accustomed to his appearance, a horrific sight and an abomination. More so when they discover he possesses no spark.

Despite his outward appearance, however, he is an innocent whom has only known of pain, hatred and betrayal. He often wonders about what he is, who he is, and why his mother has betrayed him. He will occasionally have “Flash backs” to a life not his own, of a strange creature of flesh. The memories often disturb him, but give him an insight to what he might be.

How he is able to survive whilst not integrated into the nano networks is frankly a mystery.

It later came to light that Oberon could not transform in the traditional sense of the word. Indeed, he was the first “Bioformer”, able to set and reset his own DNA to adopt the traits of the animal that he most required. Small scale mutations are generally easier for him to produce then major mutations. If for instance, he desires the need to cling to a wall, he can unconsciously send a message to his cells to reset and adopt the tactics that many creatures use to cling to surfaces despite gravity and can do so almost instantaneously. If he requires a major mutation however, such as wings with which to fly, he may require several days of mutation for the correct morphology.

Unfortunately, Oberon lost this ability soon after his creation as Callisto sought to destroy her creation. She created a device to permanently set the DNA into a form that she herself termed “the most wretched and disgusting form known”. The DNA that Oberon found himself stuck with was later identified to have belonged to the species identified as “Humans”.

Upon his birth, Oberon possessed no logic circuits whatsoever. Although capable of making decisions for himself, he is unable, at first to distinguish good and evil. This leads to him taking conflicting actions. For instance, he might severely damage someone and leave them dying, only to come back at the last minute to save their life.

A careful note, Oberon is not a techno-organic life form. Techno-organic life is a biotechnical fusion on the cellular level. Nor is he anything like the transformers from the Beast Wars era, who used genetic templates to emulate the local life forms using convincing synthetic materials.

Oberon can be likened to tearing out the essential parts from a protoform and sticking in the necessary organic components to replace them (altering the DNA to make it work, of course). The fusion of flesh and machine present in Oberon is crude and makeshift in comparison with later techno-organics.

In addition, the stability of the fusion of flesh and machine is highly dependant on his state of mind. With no purpose to exist, Oberon will slowly die. Initially his purpose was mere survival and revenge. When he despaired, however, he began to die, a process of his living tissue rejecting the mechanical components and killing itself in the process. He was however rescued from this fate by Ariah, who gave him a reason to live… love.

Part 2: Episode Ideas

**Notes
*Possible rewrite?

Season 1

Nanowars Part 1

Expecting a simple rescue mission, Aurora and her team of Maximals crash land on an inhospitable alien world after running into a field of spatial mines.

As their escape pod spirals out of control, it rips apart into pieces, throwing the maximals in different directions. Aurora is captured by Callisto and finds herself imprisoned with someone calling himself Terminus.

Nanowars Part 2

Having heard a full account of Callistos horrific actions and dealing with the death of their leader, the Maximals resolve to strand Callisto on the planet in an all out assault to prevent her from bending further free minds to her twisted desires.

In the meantime, Aurora finds that she has been betrayed by her one time cell mate Terminus, and indeed, that he has been Callistos lackey the entire time. Callisto resolves to infect Aurora with her virus just as the Maximal Assault begins...

Nanowars Part 3

The maximal assault successfully disables the Avernus, preventing any escape. Callisto has also discovered much to her dismay that maximal programming is utterly immune to the effects of her virus. Frustrated and annoyed she programs a canister of experimental nanorobots to begin replicating into infinity.

Now with the silvery paste inexorably consuming the planets crust, can Proteus formulate a Cure before they are all consumed?

The Grid

The maximals discover a mysterious grid in contested territory. Callisto and her predacons have also discovered the grid and the race to both understand and control the grid begins…

Protoform Alpha

When the Maximal ship was destroyed, a lone Maximal managed to escape by stowing away on a recon satellite and launching into a low orbit. Now the satellite has crashed and both sides have detected the Maximals Spark within. Will the Maximals be able to rescue their comrade? Or will Callisto gain yet another spark to twist to her dark ambition?

**Flanker Introduction
**The first Protoform was utterly experimental. Unlike the processes seen in beast wars, the formation was slow and took time. Unfortunately this leads to a process of degradation that ultimately renders the body useless. Proteus discovers this in time and corrects it, but is too late to save Flanker, who dies in a later episode.
**Symptoms of the degradation are akin to multiple sclerosis or cancer. Flanker is quite literally wasting away, gradually. Writers should attempt to slip in a slight allusion to this but not address it directly until the pertinent episode comes up.

Thumper

Proteus creates a seismic generator called a “Thumper” that can trigger earthquakes. But when the device malfunctions on its first test, will the maximals be able to deactivate the device before it can cause a catastrophe?

Interloper

Nightscape manages to infiltrate the maximal base undetected, where she manages to steal a few items. When the maximals detect her, however, they seal the base and a game of cat and mouse begins. What is Nightscape up to? What has she stolen? And will she escape?

Trust

Electrons mistrust of Proteus comes to a head when one of Proteus experiments blows up in Electrons face. Still reeling from explosion, Electron calls Proteus a “slag sucking spawn of Unicron”, enraging the otherwise placid Predacon. But when an accident in battle leaves Electrons spark in the balance and the only one that can save him is Proteus, will Electrons sharp tongue and witless remarks have cost him dearly?

I, Doctor

Working diligently as always, Proteus finds himself lamenting for a moment about not getting any time off. Sighing, he looks back at his screens and sees an intruder in the base computer system! Working frantically, he manages to lock the intruder out, but not before the bases computer system has been compromised! The maximals soon discover that the bases fusion reactor has been set to overload and explode, taking the base and the maximals with it. Can Proteus save himself and his maximal allies before certain catastrophe? And more importantly, will he get some time off?

Lifeline

Having lost their fusion reactor the maximal base is on emergency power, and even that is fading fast. Proteus informs his maximal friends that he can build an alternative power generator using energon and Taedium in a controlled reaction. Unfortunately, the only source of energon they can detect is right in the middle of Predacon territory…

The Package

Proteus is more skittish and nervous then ever. When an unknown energy surge is detected in neutral ground, however, his skittishness explodes into exultance. He informs the maximals that he was involved in temporal research for discovering ways of moving through time as easily as space. He tells them that the package must be recovered before Callisto gets it, or else she may be able to reverse engineer a time machine and use it against them!

**The Package contains a rubber duck, which Proteus has affection for
**This episode is meant to be slightly comedic, just in case the rubber duck part didn’t give that away :P

The Siege Part 1

Growing impatient with her troops repeated failures, Callisto decides to take matters into her own hands, leading an assault on the maximal research base! The maximals counter attack but are slowly defeated one by one, leaving Proteus alone, unprotected and without backup as Callisto triumphantly claims the base as her own…

**Callisto is the kind of leader that sits in the back and gently steers the action, she’s a manipulator. Actually heading out herself and leading the attack suggests that she’s… not happy.

The Siege Part 2

Having taken the initiative to hide, Proteus happens upon his imprisoned colleagues. Finding them to be disabled, he must overcome his reluctance to fight and reactivate his comrades before Callisto pillages the base.

**Aurora gets shot up and her spark is grazed, destabilizing it. More in next episode

Duet

Discovering Aurora injured, the maximals quickly rescue their leader and repair her. However, Proteus discovers that Auroras spark is not normal. It was a fused spark, 2 sparks in one body, and Callistos grazing shots have destabilized the duality. Unless Proteus can operate on Auroras spark and salvage this unexpected new life, both Aurora and the new spark will be extinguished…

**Creation of Ariah
**Doublespark is a pet theory of mine. The idea is that when the matrix releases a spark there is a small finite chance of it releasing two that are fused together, not unlike twins.
**The separation of a doublespark is a difficult, delicate process, not unlike brain surgery and is generally avoided unless the stability of the spark fusion is threatened, in which case both sparks risk extinguishment.

Creation

Having stolen an incomplete maximal protoform in The Siege and discovering some DNA fragments in a crashed alien vessel; Callisto begins her vilest experiment yet. Altering the DNA and the protoform to her twisted desires, she creates a being composed of both flesh and machine. Her ambitions are undone however, when it becomes apparent that she cannot control her creation…

**Creation of Oberon
**Callisto is flexing that godhood complex here, exercising her “divine” right to create life as she sees fit.
**Callisto hates and despises anything she can’t control. Note that she views the spark as a parasite…
