( Er.. You mean Spineback Blackrose.. Scaleblade is someone that has been waiting to join the game for awhile, but now is too busy to do so. ... I'm so sorry Winter, no one can remember that name now..)

Landslide heard Rattrap's voice echoing through the main halls, he looked up as he then made his way through the ship. If ya mean yer friend, I saw a large horned creature running from this place when I flew in lad. Landslide spoke up, then walked into the bridge. He was making a pace like Unicron was on his tail..

Landslide then looked around, looking at the computer screen Rattrap was looking at. Not many around.. perhaps he had to go off to help yer friends? he then said, he didn't know the amount of maximals around, but the list was roughly a skeleton crew's size. With the amount of supplies on the ship, they had to have more then just a handful of maximals around.

"She didn't kill them. It was the beast within."
"It matters not, that blood is still on her hands. You should be worried, Primal. History has a way of repeating itself, the beast has already tasted Cybertronian blood and in such confined spaces, I fear many of your troops will fall victim to this blood thirsty beast."
"There have been choices made in this war that could have spared lives instead of taking them. And I suddenly find myself in that position, teetering on a verdict, weighing the outcome. My once merciful nature was taken advantage of by the Predacons, but now... now I feel... renewed."
"You do remember that in War, lives are always lost? It's the weak that always die first, but it would seem that you are the exception."
"I thought it was rather obvious," Primal said as-a-matter-of-fact, briefly returning Sonar's toothy smile with his own sharp teeth. "Megatron wants to take away my friends, so I'll take away his pawns."
Sonar suddenly gave a bone chilling laugh, and it had nothing to do with Primal's attempt to appear intimidating. His laughter was a result of the ape's statement.

"You truely believe that I am Megatron's pawn? If you believe that then you are a bigger fool then Megatron himself!" Sonar growled that last, the fur along his shoulders rising. "Yes, I follow Megatron only because I find his incompetence as a leader amusing. Anyone with a mind of thier own knows that Megatron will lose this war and it will be due to his arrogance an overblown ego!"

Sonar forced himself to relax, after a moment the fur along his shoulder once again laid flat.

"With that said I wouldn't let that go to your head. You still have to worry about Saber, are you sure you can trust her?"

"Primus above, you're voice is annoying," Saber said entering the command center. "Rhinox left to provide back up to the Orca's team."
"The enemy of my enemy is my bro."

"It matters not, that blood is still on her hands. You should be worried, Primal. History has a way of repeating itself, the beast has already tasted Cybertronian blood and in such confined spaces, I fear many of your troops will fall victim to this blood thirsty beast."
And yet there hadn't been an incident with the beast at all. Well, perhaps with some Predacons but not against his own Maximals. That wasn't to say it could never happen since she usually ran off when she could if it took over, and he was aware of that. But what could be done about it? There was no cure, he couldn't just lock her up like a wild animal, he couldn't let her aimlessly roam free when there were Preds and likely still to be Vok traps that could harm her or kill her. In this unique situation, Optimus was at a loss. He didn't know what to do.
"You do remember that in War, lives are always lost? It's the weak that always die first, but it would seem that you are the exception."
The point Primal had made earlier was that this didn't have to be a war. This was all happening because of Megatron stealing the golden disk. Optimus and his original Axalon crew were not soldiers. They weren't trained for this kind of combat and loss of life. They were explorers and scientists. That was why it hurt so much when they lost a Maximal and it was difficult for Optimus to grasp it every time a friend died. Megatron knew all of this and took advantage of it. Come to think of it, however, it must have been pretty embarrassing and damaging to the Predacon tyrant's pride and reputation for a group of simple explorers who had been able to keep him on the ground and stop him just before he acquired victory at every attempt. What Sonar failed to realize was that were no "weaklings" in this war, not when it came to his Maximals.
"You truely believe that I am Megatron's pawn? If you believe that then you are a bigger fool then Megatron himself!"
Oh, sorry. With the exception of Sonar... and every other Predacon who would deny it and convince themselves otherwise because they all had their own agendas. The only agenda that mattered within the Predacon ranks was Megatron's, and anyone who defied him would be given the same treatment that Glowstick had fatally suffered. For any Predacon to think Megatron didn't already have a place for them in his grand scheme, whether it was death or bait or conspiracy, was a fool. He controlled everything.
"Yes, I follow Megatron only because I find his incompetence as a leader amusing. Anyone with a mind of thier own knows that Megatron will lose this war and it will be due to his arrogance an overblown ego!"
With Sonar's bellowing laughter and small perspective on the situation of this war, Optimus relaxed in his stance and reattached his mace to his back. The bat's "excuse" for following Megatron was not a viable one. And the t-rex, although arrogant and egotistical, was also brilliant. Primal hated to admit it but the ability that Megatron had to scheme and collaborate many steps ahead that would eventually lead to his true ambition and goals was null next to him, and his intelligence alone had always feared Optimus the most. He almost felt bad for the bat. If Sonar really thought Megatron was an incompetent leader, then why didn't he ever follow in Terrorsaur's footsteps and try to take the lead? Why waste his time? Was he simply waiting for Megatron to expire somehow at some point? He seemed nearly invincible. No. No one tried overthrowing Megatron because he was powerful and had several loyal troops only because their minds were a lot simpler and all they wanted to do was destroy everything and he gave them those opportunities countless times to satisfy their insignificant desires and keep them in line and happy. It was about manipulation. So what was Sonar's REAL reason for following Megatron, because Optimus wasn't buying the generic response.
"With that said I wouldn't let that go to your head. You still have to worry about Saber, are you sure you can trust her?"
Don't let what go to his head? Oh, right, Megatron supposedly losing this war. The bat did realize that they were on Earth, right? In the past. So if they could only figure out the exact date in which they were currently inhabiting the planet, then there may be a lot more at stake here than Sonar realized. A lot more. And it greatly concerned the Maximal leader. Besides, had Optimus not been given a second chance thanks to Whitegrazer and Rhinox, then Sonar would stand corrected because Megatron had been on the verge of defeating the Maximals; it already almost happened. At any rate, yes, he trusted Saber-Fang, but he did not trust the beast. Bored by the anti-climatic reactions, Optimus calmed himself and figured the best avenue with Sonar was just to talk. The bat made it obvious that he didn't wish to fight and Primal never intended on harming him in the first place. He just wanted to try and frighten him so that there might be more truth to anything that slipped out of his mouth. So much for that.

Refusing to comment on anything else the Predacon had previously said, Optimus asked him bluntly, "What was your purpose coming here, Sonar?"

-----
If ya mean yer friend, I saw a large horned creature running from this place when I flew in lad. He was making a pace like Unicron was on his tail..
Rattrap looked at Landslide when he entered the room. "Oh. Yeah, that was probably him. Wonder where he was goin'. You sure did navigate through the base quickly. We'll set ya up with a room... if we have one big enough for ya."
Not many around.. perhaps he had to go off to help yer friends?
"Primus above, you're voice is annoying,"
"I heard dat, Fangs!" Rattrap said feeling offended before he could take what the new guy said into consideration.
"Rhinox left to provide back up to the Orca's team."
"Gettin' pretty tense, eh?" Not that Saber would know or not. It was more rhetorical than actually asking for an explanation on the matter. "Oh, Saber-Fang, dis is Landslide."

Then he slightly turned to Landslide to say, "Beetle, meet a big-toothed cat." Yay for intros.

"So where's Optimus?" Rattrap asked the former General.

-----

Catching his breath, Rhinox cautiously approached Orcariner's location while still in beast mode as the TransMetal orca hovered in the sky. He waited for him to drop down or offer him a ride or point him in the right direction of the others. "What's going on, Orcariner?" the rhinoceros inquired.
"Well, that's just prime!"

RPG Characters: Nemesis,Aurora,Zodiac

Unread post by Phoenix »

Aurora could not hold back a slight chuckle as she glanced over her shoulder to see the much larger female attempt to crawl on the ground behind her. It was quite the comical sight, honestly, and at that moment Aurora felt fortunate that she was one of the smallest Maximals and thus did not encounter the kind of problems that Whitegrazer was currently attempting to overcome. Of course being small had some inconveniences as well, but at this moment it was all good.

The little ermine then turned her attention to the task at hand, her ears perking up as she noticed footsteps not far from their current location. She peeked out from behind a rock to see the Predacon fuzor doing.. something. From the looks of it he was stacking crates by himself, which meant that the spiders couldn't be far.

Leaning up against the rock to stay out of sight, Aurora flipped open the panel for her computer and began searching for computer signals. Even here, inside this massive cave, she was able to pick up some signals, albeit faint. They would require some boosting before she would be able to do anything with them. Fortunately it appeared that Tarantulas was moving a number of crates filled with different computer equipment which meant that there was a possibility she'd be able to hack into their computer systems provided she could just amplify the signal. And to do that she'd need a relay of sorts..

Aurora glanced around, taking note of some equipment close to Quickstrike's location. Very carefully she turned back to Whitegrazer, whispering to her.

"Any chance you can distract two-heads over there for a moment?"

(ooc: For the sake of the episode's progress, perhaps we could just assume that the two new recruits are joining Megs as requested?)

Nemesis smiled ever so slightly as she gave Umbra a courteous nod when he passed by. It would appear that Megatron only wanted to see the new recruits, and judging by the rather unimpressive display put forth by the spitting llama she was not very surprised. She decided to step outside for some fresh air in the meanwhile, anticipating that Megatron would be occupied for a little while and that her presence was not needed at the moment. On the way out she did a brief count of the Predacons present, taking note of the fact that the spiders and their dimwitted lackey still had not returned to base. Oh well, that was hardly a surprise. In fact the base, as uncomfortable as she found it, seemed a little .. safer.. without that eight legged creepy scientist sniffing around. There was just something about him that gave her the creeps, even though she would never admit it to anyone.

Once outside the base, she transformed to her flight mode and headed south, moving towards more comfortable terrain. But before long a figure in the distance caught her attention, causing her to halt in her tracks. Or at least she thought she had seen something, but as she turned her gaze to the area the transformer like shape was nowhere to be seen. Deciding it was probably just some more Predacons returning to base.. or some animal or something, Nemesis merely continued surveying the area.

"What was your purpose for coming here, Sonar?"
Sonar chuckled and turned his back on Primal and folded his arms behind his back.

"You're going to have to be more specific, Primal. I can not answer you properly if you don't ask the right questions."

"I heard dat, Fangs!"
Saber rolled her optics before taking a seat near the console.
"Getting pretty tense, eh? Oh, Saber-Fang, dis is Landslide."
Saber gave the new Maximal a small nod but said nothing else.
"Beetle, meet a big-toothed cat."
Saber gave the rat a warning growl, her ears going back.
"So where's Optimus."
Saber briefly looked away and cleared her throat. "He's... busy at the moment. But he is here."
"The enemy of my enemy is my bro."

OP could send Airazor, too, but WorpeX has been MIA for a little while now. I want to make sure characters can be reliable in order to keep the game rolling.
((Sorry, I may end up just quitting, I just can't keep up. I've said it before but I just don't read fast enough and many of you want to go faster then I can do. By the time I catch up on reading my characters are usually pushed under the rug and I get frustrated. As of now, all I really have to write is internal monologue... but hey, at least i've caught up (finally..)!

@BlackRose: You're doing an awesome job with Dinobot!! At first I was a bit iffy about his feelings towards getting Aerostriker killed but this last post was spot on and really tied it all together well. His thoughts about fate are exactly what I would have expected him to do in the show. Good job!))

Airazor was glad that the new protofom was a maximal. After her team struck out so badly earlier in the day, having a bit of fresh news was welcoming. He was a big guy, much taller then she was and his dry humor gave her a bit of a chuckle. He was a promising recruit and was likely a better warrior then Buster was anyway. The later having run away almost immediately after being rescued by the predicons. They both seemed to enjoy food however, that was one similarity. She liked landslide.

Getting the order to escort him back to base was the easiest thing she had to do all day. It wasn't even a far flight! Without even having to ask for directions, the new maximal landed in the hanger and proceeded to act as if he had been living in the base for days.
Ah, there's that base he was talking about.. Bit of a wreck.. but that makes sense.

"We'll clean it up eventually, if the preds ever get off our back." Airazor responded apathetically. She didn't mind the mess all that much. In fact, she really didn't like the hanger anymore after her recent incident with the CR Chamber. "Come on, i'll lead you to the rest of the team." She continued and brought him up to the command center where Rattrap and the others were waiting for them.

(Okay Wintersong I'll carry, hope you can post soon)

Ironclaw arrived at the Axalon just behind Rattap and the others. He changed into robot and followed up the lift to find that there was no one there but Saber-fang who was already speaking to the rat. The soldier stood tall and carried his injuries well, making his presence known. He looked around then walked past Rattrap heading towards the hall way. However he stopped and looked over to Saber-fang.
"Where is he? Saber-Fang" Ironclaw asked sternly without givimg away too much emotion. Her body language was something to be noticed. He wasn't present when she turned into this 'beast' but Ironclaw was concerned about this issue and wondered if deadly force was necessary.

Whitegrazer broke her concentration to see Aurora trying so hard not to laugh. She gave the little one a playful pout before smiling big. Seeing Aurora chuckling warmed her heart. It had been awhile since she saw Aurora chuckle or even smile. She hoped for more laughs and smiles from the little one despite the war they were forced to fight.
"Any chance you can distract two-heads over there for a moment?"
She crouched behind Aurora, peeking from the side of the rock to see Quickstrike so focused on his task. She looked at all the setup equipment. Maybe if she could get close enough without drawing attention to herself or Aurora, she could unscrew a leg or loosened an important piece that may cause Quickstrike to be distracted in fixing it, which, hopefully, would give Aurora the moment she needed.

She gripped Aurora's shoulder lightly and whispered, "Leave it to me."

Crawling on her belly like a snake... again, she went to the closest tunnel to hide behind. She made sure Quickstrike was still distracted before she went in closer. There was a piece of equipment that seemed vital. Keeping herself low, she very gently and quietly moved towards it. She shook the plating to see if it was loose or tight. It was loose enough for her to do what she needed to do. She pulled one of the middle bars as far as she could before the thing began to wobble. As it wobbled, she quietly yet very quickly moved back cover against a wall to hear the clanging of beams. She peeked out, staying in the darkness, of her hiding place to see the beams near Quickstrike's side collasped on the ground.

That should give Aurora the time she needed. But she kept her eye on Quickstrike. If he so much as turne at Aurora's direction, she wanted to be ready to knock him out swiftly, but quietly.

Blackarachnia struggled against Tarantulas' grip on her mind. She grunted at the pain. Her optics flashing between Tarantulas' control and her own. Her body spasmed, her pincher that held the knife shook violently. It looked like she was going to lose her grip on it.

"I...warned...you," she gritted through her words as she fought to keep her grip. Her pincher clenched, stretching forward towards Tarantulas before she let out a scream of determination mixed with agony, squeezing the cube.

Waves of energon surged through her body, burning her circuits and overloading many of her own body's movements. It was too much... too painful to keep on herself. But this was better than the alternative. An energon charge shot at her forehead towards Tarantulas as she continued to squeeze the cube further and further.

"DEMON! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Tarantulas bellowed in a mix of rage, shock, and agony, feeling Blackarachnia's pain as though it was his own transmetal form experiencing an energon surge.

"Stop this insanity She Spider, throw the cube away!" Tarantulas reasoned with the fool, struggling not to double over from the pain as it wracked every circuit in his body, making it harder and harder to concentrate.

Blackrose wrote: Inferno looked Buster up and down as they walked. This creature was not worthy to stand in front of The Royalty. But, The Royalty, personally, had requested his presence....it was not Inferno's place to question his judgement. He had no choice but to obey his Queen.

Inferno stopped for a second outside of Megatron's quarters. He took a moment to visibly stand up straighter, lift his chin higher, and puff his chest out farther. He had to look his best for The Royalty. Inferno looked over at Buster.

"Prepare yourself to stand in front of Our Queen!" Inferno suggested prompting him to perform the same ritual to make himself more presentable to stand in front of their Queen.

"Enter!" Megatron bellowed, sensing the arrival of the remaining stragglers, disappointed that his own second in command had kept him waiting for so long, and more so his latest recruit...Hopefully the newcomer could make up for the loss, if you could call it that, of Onyx, the traitorous horse never having been a model soldier to begin with.

The ant and the...Llama? Entered Megatron's quarters, and already the tyrant was beginning to dread that Spineback would be the only worthwhile find for him this day, judging by appearances alone. The newcomer did not appear very powerful, and he somehow doubted a llama beast mode would provide him with any unique skills that would be inherently helpful in battle...Who knows? Maybe the runt would be smarter than he looked in order to make up for it...He could dream at least. If Inferno's report was true, then this mammal may have cowardly tendencies that would make him unreliable in battle, though that could be easily remedied by teaching him to fear his leader more than the maximals!

"Its about time..." Megatron snarled, casting a withering glare at Inferno, before smiling at Buster and saying "Greetings recruit, I am Megatron, commander of his base and your new leader. And you are?"

Buster followed Inferno as they walked down the corridors. The entire atmosphere of the Predacon base was very chilling despite the lava flowing beneath them.
Inferno wrote: "The Royalty, our leader, would like to speak with you," "He is very displeased with how you handled yourself on the battlefield. We are expected to wait to retreat until the command has been given. You left us outnumbered. The battle was far from over! We could still have won!"
A ton of excuses ran across Buster's mind, but none of them seemed legitimate at the moment. To him, running away seemed perfectly natural especially when confronted with someone who has bigger guns than him. However, simply saying "I wussed out" would not cut it with the team leader. If this "Royalty" was anything like his old commanding officer back on Cybertron, Buster would have to come up with a better reason than that. Therefore, he said nothing in response to the fire ant but instead tried to create some sort of story to explain himself in front of the Predacon who really mattered; the one with the authority to kill him.
Inferno wrote: "Prepare yourself to stand in front of Our Queen!"
Buster straightened his furry neck and tried to put on a serious demeanor.
Megatron wrote:Enter!
The llama was this close to wetting himself. That was a voice that not only commanded authority, but one that also commanded fear. The same type of voice that would belong to someone who would chuck the poor llama into the fire pits on a whim.

"Play it cool," he whispered to himself, "Just play it cool. There's no way he could be worse than Monkey McCannons. For all we know, this Pred just happens to have a talent for projecting his voice box. Could just be a midget with a deep, baritone voice. Come on, Buster boy, you're a soldier. You got this."

With a firm look on his face and a gritty demeanor, Buster marched alongside Inferno into the command center. The hairs all over his body stood straight up and it took every ounce of willpower to prevent his eyes from falling out of his cybernetic skull. This "Royalty" was huge! He was even larger than Optimus Primal!
Megatron wrote:Greetings recruit, I am Megatron, commander of his base and your new leader. And you are?
I'm the guy who may have leaked a little something something down below just now.

Buster forced a grin to match the awkwardly terrifying smile that Megatron was offering him. It was a peculiar name choice for the Predacon leader. Everyone and their mother knew who the original Megatron was. Buster assumed that the giant who stood before him chose that title either because he was a fanboy, or because he was just that powerful.

Ok, here's your chance to explain yourself. Just act natural and don't look afraid. Be cool, Buster. Be cool!

"Hiiii...."

Aw slag.

"I'm Buster. The new guy."

He pointed to Inferno.

"Your other guy found me on another continent. I'm really grateful for the pick-me-up. It really sucks being alone out there starving to death."

You can't say "sucks", it's not professional!

"Er, I mean it's rigorous lifestyle out in the wilderness. I'm a trained soldier and all, at least back on Cybertron I was. Wait, I mean, I'm still trained, it's just that it's a little different here where there's... um... green stuff everywhere."

Vegetation.

"Vegetation everywhere."

Buster wanted to kick himself so hard. This interview was going terribly wrong. Not only did he not play things cool, but he was blanking out so bad because he was terrified of the monstrous Predacon who was looking down at him. He thought to himself that staying in his beast mode was probably not going to help his first impression. After all, llamas were not fearsome-looking. Every Predacon he's met thus far looked fairly formidable. He should show Megatron was he was really made of.

Terrorize!

Transforming into his robot mode, Buster chose to hop on his two feet and strike a bold pose. Both legs were spread apart and his curled up fists rested on his waist. His face looked a bit awkward as he tried to smile bravely in a manner that made him look tough, but friendly and approachable. It was then did he realize that he still looked a bit weird.

Hmm... maybe I should have stayed as a llama after all...

"You're going to have to be more specific, Primal. I can not answer you properly if you don't ask the right questions."
Watching the Predacon turn around again and dance around his question, Optimus got fed up with this "visit". "I don't play games anymore, Sonar," he said coldly as he turned and left the cell, securing it behind him. Annoyed and having lost his patience, Primal left the brig and made his way through his broken vessel to the command center. What had he been expecting from Sonar anyway? To be honest? To get answers that Saber-Fang was unwilling to give? To be cooperative? How silly of him.
"He's... busy at the moment. But he is here."
"Oh," Rattrap said, unsatisfied with her answer. "Thanks for bein' specific," he added sarcastically before glancing at Airazor who showed up with Landslide, and then Ironclaw who spoke up as he walked past him toward the corridor.
"Where is he? Saber-Fang"
The badger's tone and the way he carried himself despite his injuries almost appeared threatening to the former general. He really hoped he wouldn't set off that beast inside of her. In any case, why did Ironclaw care where Optimus was?

"Right here," Optimus answered Ironclaw in a voice of authority as he casually entered the bridge by stepping past him. His optics lingered on Saber-Fang for a moment with some concern and a tiny piece of new information from her past before giving recognition to the new Maximal who he was a bit surprised to see. "Who's this?"

"Landslide. He's a cave-dweller," Rattrap joked. "We found him mining energon in a mountain not far from here. Lucky the Preds didn't stumble upon him."

Really? Finally some positive news for this terrible day the Maximals were having. "Welcome to the Axalon... or what's left of it. I'm Optimus Primal, Commander of this crew," he said as he extended his right hand to the larger Maximal to shake his. This new guy was rather big and looked promising and full of potential. Not to mention a TransMetal that looked like he had the ability of flight and transport space. He was pleased to see a new face, to say the least, after losing Aerostriker and two protoforms to the Preds this day.

"I don't play games anymore, Sonar."
Sonar smiled again and looked over his shoulder as Primal left.

It's your loss, Primal. No matter, my prey will come to me.

"Oh, thanks for being specific."
Saber rolled her optics.
"Where is he, Saber-Fang."
"I'm sorry, just who-" She started with a growl then stopped when Optimus came in.
"Right here."
Saber saw the glance that Optimus gave her which caused her spark to race. What did Sonar tell Optimus? She glanced at the hallway that lead to the brig, then glanced at back Optimus. Wondering if she should risk it.
"Whose this?"
Saber didn't hear the reply, she was to focused on whether she should confront Sonar or not. The more she thought about it, the more stressed she became. She wasn't even aware that her claws had dug into the console.

(Sorry to hear that Worpex, but we do understand. Life always comes before this sorta stuff and sounds like your busy.

Rattrap wrote:"Oh. Yeah, that was probably him. Wonder where he was goin'. You sure did navigate through the base quickly. We'll set ya up with a room... if we have one big enough for ya."

Landslide nodded Aye, don't worry about that lad, as for navigating.. well.. yer base has two straight main halls.. it's not difficult.
Saberfang wrote: "Primus above, you're voice is annoying,"

Rattrap wrote:"I heard dat, Fangs!"
Saberfang wrote: "Rhinox left to provide back up to the Orca's team."
Rattrap wrote:"Gettin' pretty tense, eh?" "Oh, Saber-Fang, dis is Landslide."

"Beetle, meet a big-toothed cat."

"So where's Optimus?"

Landslide looked down towards Saberfang, then gave a nod Pleasure to meet you lass.
Saberfang wrote:"He's... busy at the moment. But he is here."

Landslide tilted his head slightly observing Saberfang, but shrugged it off.
Rattrap wrote:"Oh," "Thanks for bein' specific,"

Ironclaw wrote:"Where is he? Saber-Fang"

"I'm sorry, just who-" [/quote]
Optimus Primal wrote:"Right here," "Who's this?"

Rattrap wrote:"Landslide. He's a cave-dweller," "We found him mining energon in a mountain not far from here. Lucky the Preds didn't stumble upon him."

Optimus Primal wrote: "Welcome to the Axalon... or what's left of it. I'm Optimus Primal, Commander of this crew,"

Landslide reached out shaking Optimus's hand Aye, so I've seen, pleasure to meet you lad. From the fly overhead, I can only assume yer ship's main structural supports have buckled under some extreme stress.. though I'm no shipwright..I can't get this bucket back into the sky. Yer..er Rattrap here has explained some of the situation. If you need anything built, blown up, transported, or mined I'm probably yer bot. I can also do some repairs, but I'm no surgeon.

Landslide released Optimus's hand and looked towards Rattrap Though, I probably owe yer group for finding me, as I would of been a "cavedweller" for awhile. he gave a light chuckle.

Quickstrike welded on his beam as Whitegazer sneaked, though with the loud buzzing sound from arc welding, it was impossible for him to hear or notice her anyway, even with the bright white fur of her color scheme.

As the equipment slid and hit the pile of beams, Quickstrike turned his head only to lead out a shout of What in Tar-AH!. The fuzor fell to the ground crushed under a pile of I beams, his optics turning black as he soon went unconscious.

Umbra made it back towards his quarters, closing and locking the door behind him. He sat down on the stasis pod in the room pulling out his Gauss rifle and ejecting it's magazine. He pulled the bolt on the side of the gun, causing a spike to eject from the side of the gun, then started examining the weapon, his tentacle lifting the spike from the floor and reloading it into the magazine, as well as loading a new spike for the shot that was spent earlier. Well.. so far so good.. he muttered to himself.

With Megatron now trusting in Umbra's skills a little more, it'd be a bit easier to continue operations with the Predacons. Though it seemed other then Nemesis and Cecaelia, the majority of the crew may have had issues with him, while the new recruits were an unknown. Then there was the next operation.. taking down Onyx. While Umbra had made an effort to try to study as much as he could from Predacon records on the Maximals, he could only collect so much on the Predacons.

If you know yourself.. but not the enemy.., for every victory gained, you will suffer a defeat.. If that is the case..Looks like you and I will be spending alot of time together Onyx.. weather you know it.. or not. He smirked darkly lifting his gun and loading the magazine into it again, his camo color changing matching the dark walls of the room.

(Edits due to colors.. Not on the ball this week. Bleh.)

((OOC: Sorry, I was just breaking up my posts since that Buster one was done pretty late at night.))
Rhinox wrote:"What's going on, Orcariner?"
Orcariner looked down and saw the familiar looking rhinoceros below him. Still not comfortable with his landings, the orca transformed into his robot mode. The jets on his back and legs hissed as the giant descended from the sky and landed on the ground.

"Hey," he said, "Thanks for showing up. We've picked up Blackarachnia, Tarantulas, Quickstrike, and Arachnitron in the caverns in the quadrant you guys sent us to. Whitegrazer and Aurora are currently setting up so that when we inevitably confront the Preds, we'll be prepared to even the odds."

Indicating to Rhinox, he continued.

"Fortunately, you're with us now. As you can tell, no one really expect this to be a live-fire mission so none of us are really equipped with any firepower whatsoever. Having your chainguns of doom will definitely help us out big time. Come on, I'll grab onto you so that we can get back to the sector as quickly as possible."

With that his jets began to hum with life again and Orcariner extended his arms to offer the similarly large Rhinox an aerial lift. There was no easy way to carry Rhinox, and even if he had his seat attachments with him, the senior officer still would not be able to fit. Nevertheless, Orcariner was strong enough to hold him and the destination was only mere minutes away.

Ironclaw balled his hands into fists when Saber-fang started to get agitated. He heard her growl but wasn't going to back down. But suddenly Optimus made his presence known, making the badgers head shoot his head round to the direction of his voice. His eyes narrowed as Optimus walked past him, obviously not acknowledging each other. But then Saber looked down the corridor with a certain look, it gave something away but he wasn't quite sure what it was. Once they started the introductions, Ironclaw lost interest and wanted to investigate what Optimus was up to.

Marching down the corridor he couldn't help but think something has just gone on. He carries on going until he came to a door. He paused.

(Is Ironclaw able to get into the brig or not? Either way I'll edit this post)
