"Unforeseen Heroes"

This is why I have been so quiet in the RPG lately, desperately trying to get this done before Slagacon this weekend.  Sorry about that!

That's awesome, OOP! :D I love their poses especially Tigatron's :D He looks so calm but alert right there. Pretty tiger he is.

I love all of their eyes' too.

Oh WOW! That's absolutely stunning, OOP! Your talent never ceases to amaze me! Are you going to make these into prints to sell at various conventions? I know I'd buy one! They really are gorgeous. I *love* Tigatron and Rattrap. Especially Rattrap. :p I have pet rats and feel that you've definitely drawn him realistically. Makes me squee! XD

It is indeed a gorgeous picture! I love the more 'authentic' look of the animals and think that's a great touch that makes it stand out.

Maybe you could expand beyond just trying to sell artwork at conventions, and set up a little online shop for it where people can buy your art using paypal?

Thank you, una!! Tigatron and Cheetor are my favorites, I think. They came out really nice, but I may be biased since I love cats. I love focusing on the eyes, so I try to make them stand out and have depth.

Thank you so much, Sapphire! Yes, I am. I just sent in my order to pick them up tomorrow after work. Awe, props for Rattrap! Yay! I know you have pet rats, which I think is awesome because I used to own a pair and I miss them very much. I can't really own them again because my older sister is allergic to them. She's such a pansy. Kidding! They are wonderful pets. Anywho, thank you again! I'm glad you like it.

Thank you, Phoenix! That's exactly what I was going for. I wondered what a group photo would look like with all of the Maximals (and eventually the Predacons) looking more realistic in their beast modes, and originally I was going to do all of this in pencil, but I think the color makes it look really nice. I stuck to the first season because it's just easier to find real animal references for their beast modes. Yes, I have thought about making a website where I could sell my artwork and photography, but I haven't had time to even start looking for a host. I don't know where to begin... except for that one commercial I keep seeing on TV... Can't remember what it's called. D'oh!

Thanks again, guys!

I'm sure Nick would be more than happy to suggest a host for you. In fact we're still paying for ours and Nick hasn't really touched upon his website in ages. :p It's just sitting there.

For my fencing club's website, I used tripod back when it was free. It looked really nice and it was very easy to use. Unfortunately, I can't link it here for you because since I did not pay them, it is no longer an active site. Though if you really wanted to see the layout I could take screen shots of it because I can still see it when I log into my account...it's just not active cuz I refuse to pay for it. It's not that much money...like 30 bucks a month or something like that.

I've also used wordpress.com. Wordpress.com is free, but it's more of a blog than a website. I think, but don't quote me on this, that wordpress.org may be more of what you'd be looking for. But you'd have to do research on it for yourself to know for sure. There is a fee for wordpress.org, but not for wordpress.com. If you'd like to see my wordpress account for the program I ran at the library this past spring, I have a link to it on my facebooK!

There are tons of free site builders out there if you were looking for something cheap. Most of them are fairly easy to use too.

Thank you, Phoenix and Blackrosefencer! I just haven't gotten around to researching these things, but I truly appreciate your help. I would really like to get a website soon; maybe when I have more time over Christmas break.

 Really, N-H? Thank you!!

Thank you, WorpeX!

I won the art contest at Slag-A-Con with this, but only by default because it was such a small convention that no one else entered the contest. I wanted SOME competition at least. Oh well.

If it's any consolation, I think you would've won even if there were other competitors! :-D

 Well, thank you very much, Blackrosefencer. *hug* I'm not so sure about that myself since I failed miserably in BotCon '07's art contest, but BC is so huge with so many entries and incredible competition that I guess I had no chance. Oh well. Not sure if I should bother entering in BC again; maybe just stick to these smaller, nicer cons.

^ This. It's too well drawn and colored to not vote for it lol. Congrats on your victory, OOP :D
