Greetings Canada!

Unread post by Blazemane »

For the weekend, I'm up by Niagara with some of my siblings, and we're heading into Toronto later today to visit the CN Tower at the very least.

So, hi Canadian bwinters!

Small news, I know. This is actually the first time I've been out of country though, heh.
I understand... you are, after all, a predacon.

Oooh, we live right by Niagara Falls county on the US side of the border! So we're 'almost' Canadian. :) Toronto is a mere 2 hours away by car, Niagara Falls maybe half an hour if even that?

I like Canada. I expected this would be true, but it's really hardly different from America.

There were lots of people almost everywhere we went. Of course, almost everywhere we went was some tourist hot spot or another. We saw Niagara Falls from a few different angles, but my favorite was from the Maid of the Mist ride. The horseshoe falls were kicking up so much mist, it was hard to see, but what I could see of those particular falls was my favorite. The mist had a lot of sunlight pouring into it, so it was like a wall of hazy white, which was cool to stare directly into. And the water near the falls was really active, like the boat was speeding forward even though we weren't moving.

The CN Tower was tall. I don't have much else to say about it, but that doesn't mean it was bad. We ended up going into the Sky Pod, but the perspective somehow didn't seem different from the view in the first lookout- except for the look of some of the taller buildings, which the Sky Pod helps one get above more.

And then we had a 4d ride- I was amazed they could simulate the feeling of making you drop so many feet just by making the room rotate a little and giving you visuals that made it look like you were going to fall. That was fun.

There was a 3d movie, too. That was o.k.

Near our hotel there was a Hershey's shop and a sortof... comics merchandising shop, which were both great. I finally have an Autobot shirt now.
I understand... you are, after all, a predacon.
