Character Bios [S2]

Unread post by Alak »

I decided to go ahead and make a new topic since the 2.0 thread was getting really crowded and difficult to navigate. Everyone is going to have to change their OCs' stats for the new season so it makes sense to have them re-evaluated for ranks. Having a separate topic for the Season 2 biographies would also help out with keeping the Active RPG Roles organized so that I'll be putting up the new stats and weapons instead of the old ones.

Non-transmetals may have a stat total of no more than 48 (excluding rank).
Transmetals may have a stat total of no more than 50 (excluding rank).

Here's the traditional layout for character biographies:
Character Biography wrote:Name: The name of the Original Character.
Allegiance: What side the character fights for.
Function: What the character's primary role is.
Alt. Mode: The animal form that the Original Character currently has.
Height: How tall this character is in robot form.
Quote: Something the character would say.

Strength: The physical power of the character and how much damage its melee attacks/weapons will do to an opponent per strike.
Intelligence: How much information the character knows and how quick it can learn new information.
Speed: The optimal running or flying speed of the character.
Endurance: How much punishment a character can take before falling into stasis lock.
Rank: Where the character stands in its respective faction's hierarchy. [Assigned by the staff]
Courage: How brave the character is in the face of danger.
Firepower: How much damage the character's projectile weapons can deal to its opponent per projectile.
Skill: This rates how well a character can translate its knowledge into action.

Biography: The character's history.
Weapons: What the character is armed with in robot mode.
Abilities: Unique feats the character can perform.
Weaknesses: What the character's weakest points are which may be exploited by the enemy.

Sample Post: An example of how the player will perform in the RPG. This is unnecessary for characters who have already participated in Season 1.

If you have already posted your Season 2 character, feel free to re-post the biography in here. Also, it'd be great if each player could update the character's biography with the ranks provided by the staff. As of right now, I believe the ranking staff includes: Blazemane, NaitoKage, and Optimal Optimus Primal. If there is any significant edit done to the biography (aside from inclusion of rank), please make a post explaining the changes so that the staff is aware and that they may evaluate the character to make sure it remains balanced.

Here's TM Orcariner's biography. Took me a while but I think I'm satisfied with it as of right now.

BIO: Orcariner has had quite the adventure since his arrival to this mysterious planet. While successful at preventing the efforts of a future Predacon hit squad who had intended to assassinate Optimus Primal, the killer whale was faced with the death of his first friend and mentor of the original Axalon crew, Icesight. Alone, Orcariner chose to venture out into the new world. His next encounter consisted of him crossing paths with a hybrid group of both Maximals and Predacons. Joining forces with Xzuk, Icebreaker, Nightmist, Glowstick, Snowtrix, and many others, Orcariner had a series of strange run-ins with a powerful alien presence known as the Vok. Despite their ability to work together through many dangers, the group was eventually separated and he and Icebreaker were the only two who succeeded in rendezvousing with the Axalon and its captain.

In his first mission with the core crew, Orcariner found himself once again faced against the Vok technology. Optimus Primal disappeared without a trace, and the chain of command fell into chaos. Under the command of Valkyrie, the orca went to go inspect the crash site of a ship belonging to the Predacon known as Sonar. Engaging the opposing faction, the team made it back to the mainland and witnessed the return of the Maximal leader. The next couple of missions consisted of both victories and defeats. On a trip to a smoldering desert, Orcariner and his closest friend, Icebreaker, found themselves disadvantaged in the environment and lost the stasis pod that would soon introduce Blackarachnia to the war. A later mission involved Orcariner as one of the primary tacticians which resulted in the successful retrieval of approximately three tons of raw energon despite interference with the Vok creation known as Clear Convoy.

Perhaps what Orcariner considers to be his biggest failure to date was his mission to inspect a crash at the northern arctic circle. Being the first to arrive on scene, the orca found the mysterious object to actually be the body of a former Decepticon soldier known as Nemesis. Conflicted over whether to kill or spare the hibernated individual, Orcariner chose to bury the body within the arctic ocean which was swiftly recovered by the pursuing Glowstick and Snowtrix. Nemesis was able to escape Predacon custody and made her way to the Maximal base. Nightmist, an old friend of Icebreaker and Orcariner from their previous adventures, had recently reunited with the crew. During the confrontation with the larger Decepticon, the female Maximal was killed and her body assimilated by the newcomer. Orcariner knew he had the opportunity to prevent yet another death of one of his friends. Despite reassurances by his commanding officer, the orca still holds himself responsible for Nightmist’s death.

The next few missions showed more promise. Orcariner helped defend Rhinox as the latter saved Airazor’s stasis pod. Quickly finding his niche as the Maximal’s signature stall fighter, Orcariner utilized his bulk and defensive capabilities to help get both Maximals and Predacons through yet another Vok trap. The experience became more memorable due to the constant exchange of words and expressed ideologies with the Predacon known as Steelclaw. What was spoken between the two would carry on in Orcariner’s mind for a long time.

In a desperate attempt to save the planet from destruction, Optimus Primal set out to destroy the weaponized moon. Orcariner helplessly watched as his leader was trapped in the rigged stasis pod, and as a result, died in the ensuing explosion. Now without anyone to look up to, the Maximal must turn to himself for guidance in the escalated Beast Wars. The attained transmetal forms have brought new sources of power to both factions. Orcariner must quickly learn how to wield it in order to help defend the leaderless Maximals.

WEAPONS: Unlike his previous form, Orcariner now only wields one energo-sword as a weapon. However, this blade resembles that of a broad sword with straight edges rather than serrated ones. The sword’s reach is now eight feet long, and it becomes even more lethal when combined with a boosted lunge attack. The limit of this weapon’s cutting ability has yet to be recorded. The combination of Orcariner’s sheer strength and body mass with the sword’s power equate to a striking force that is unrivaled by any other in the Beast Wars. Having exactly the same properties of his former energo-swords, the new blade is virtually indestructible, enabling the killer whale to also use it for defensive purposes.

A second tool in his arsenal is an energy shield that is projected by the power generator stored in his left arm. This shield is perfectly circular and maintains a diameter of roughly ten feet. Although composed solely of energized particles, this shield does not burn nor shock anyone who touches it. Rather, it may be used as a concussive force when Orcariner chooses to batter his foes. Given enough force, the edge of the shield may act as a crushing blade although the cutting ability would not be anywhere as effective as an actual offensive weapon.

ABILITIES: Being a Transmetal, Orcariner now has the ability to transform into a helicopter. His pectoral fins may act as hard points to attach external equipment, weaponry, or seats so that he may provide aerial transport for Maximal infantry or supplies. The upgrades he had installed in his previous form are not only present, but they have been enhanced due to the removal of his old body’s power limitations. Sonar emissions are now running full time simultaneously with his advanced radar technology, capable of reaching up to a 250 meters radius for gathering full 3-dimensional images of the environment. The main antenna cone is no longer housed in Orcariner’s vulnerable dorsal fin, but is now shielded beneath his circular chest piece. His radar's reach is still able to achieve a 1 kilometer radius. The gravity lifts continue to aid him in flight as well as providing the extra boost in battle when necessary. The boosters on his body grant him flight and hovering capabilities while in robot mode. They are also able to increase his underwater speeds to roughly 50 mph. The combination of his lifts and boosters allow Orcariner to move at speeds more than twice as fast as his actual running speed on land.

Orcariner is now armed with deployable motion sensors. An integral tool for scouting and collecting real-time intelligence, this portable high-tech device is designed for sensing even the slightest twitch of movement, alerting the owner when an enemy has breached the premises on foot or by vehicle. These devices are capable of processing data up to 50 meters radius. They operate for a short period of time of roughly 5 minutes, after which it will no longer detect enemies. Once inoperable, the devices create an implosive EMP charge to destroy themselves in order to prevent falling into enemy hands. The second equipment that his new upgrade provided is an electronic countermeasure. Used only for defensive measures, the ECM may be activated in order to create an electrical "bloom" around him that prevents radar tracking and missile locks. The ECM remains active for 5 seconds at a time and requires another 10 seconds to recharge before reactivation.

One new feature obtained is the ability to emit a translucent energy shield around him. The shield resembles a dome constructed of hexagonal patterns and it also encompasses those within a 10 meter radius of his body. It is capable of easily absorbing the impacts of energy projectiles, explosions, missiles, and various high caliber munition rounds. Orcariner’s bubble shield lasts for 8 seconds after deployment. Despite its brief usage, this bubble shield is virtually indestructible to anything short of a weapon of mass destruction, allowing it to live out the entirety of its 8 seconds. On the other hand, his mobile shield virtually has no such time limitations. While not as powerful as the larger shield, this one is still capable of deflecting high intensive firepower such as fusion cannons and rocket launchers.Orcariner can detach the power generator from his arm, allowing him to use it as a portable defensive measure. However, once removed, he is unable to create a new shield from his arm until that unit is restored or replaced. Another new feature that Orcariner obtained during the Transmetal process was the tactical headset. The device analyzes environments, indigenous life forms, and personnel in real time. The data is stored in Orcariner’s own databanks (in the form of video, sound, and pictures) and it may be re-uploaded into external computers or hard drives. The headset may also be used for other functions. During low-light operations, it may act as an additional light source. Similar to his Beacon 2.0 capabilities in Season 1, the headset is able to upload data to other Maximals within a 100 meter radius of Orcariner's position. Said data includes real-time radar, color highlighted outlines of friendly, enemy, and neutral lifeforms, marked objectives on the map, etc. Allies are only able to receive a radar map that is limited to a 500 meters radius, however.

While leaner in appearance, the upgraded body armor that Orcariner boasts is more durable than his previous form. With additional layers, insulation, and superior plate placements, the Maximal is able to fulfill his role as a blood tank even without the use of his energy shields. The increased number of hard points allow the armor to displace the kinetic energy of impacts from both energy and concussive impacts. The higher mobility due to the restructuring of his body makes Orcariner more efficient at protecting his allies if needed. The addition of a mouth plate ensures that the Maximal's armor has no weak point that may be exploited by Predacon foes.

WEAKNESSES: The change to transmetal has completely eliminated Orcariner’s capability of ranged combat, limiting him to the confines of close quarters battle. His large frame as well as his powerful and constant emission of radar and sonar is enough to alert the enemy base of his presence in their airfield. While still susceptible to sonar emissions, transformers who have not undergone transmetalization are nearly impossible to detect via radar (both primary and deployable) when they are in beast mode. The sounds of his rotary blades alone are loud enough to alert individuals before the orca is even visible. At night, his vehicle mode is also visible to opposing forces due to the blinking navigation lights that are present for safety purposes. Being the largest of the Maximals, Orcariner draws more attention to himself than any other fighter. He is consistently the first target under enemy fire due to his imposing appearance, although this plays directly into his role as a guardian.

While powerful, Orcariner’s shield requires him to put forth both arms for deployment. The energy required to maintain such a large shield also immobilizes him upon use, rendering him incapable or attacking or evading. Furthermore, the shield prevents anything entering or leaving the premises. This may sometimes prove disadvantageous for allies within range of cover as Orcariner is forced to hold the shield for the entirety of its 8 second duration. The shield also requires a 3 minute recharge time unless Orcariner is willing to shut down his other processors to compensate for the excessive energy usage. Regarding the mobile shield that he generates on his arm, its defensive capabilities are nowhere near the impervious nature of the bubble shield. Given enough enemy fire, the shield may dissipate due to over-exhaustion. Even its usage as a melee weapon would eventually lead to its dispersal. The recharge time after this occurs, or after usage of the bubble shield, is also 5 minutes in duration.

Like most heavily fortified soldiers, Orcariner remains susceptible to attacks that do not require brute force. Being one of the larger Maximals who carries advanced technology within his body, he is more vulnerable to enemy hackers. Those who are skilled enough to exploit his systems would be able to manipulate his internal processors. While he would not be as quickly affected due to his bulk, Orcariner is able to fall to the effects of cyber venom.

RPG Characters: Wintersong (Oc), Spineback (Oc), Tigerhawk, Terrorsaur, Airazor, Cheetor, Rampage

EDIT:Deleted Terra's bio due to dropping her completely.

Name: Wintersong
Allegiance: Maximal
Function: Jungle Patrol/Close combat fighter
Alt. Mode: Transmetal white tiger
Height: 4'7 in beast mode,5'9 in robot mode
Quote: "I'm still no tamed kitty, just metal and feral!"

Strength: 9
Intelligence: 6
Speed: 7
Endurance: 7
Rank: [Assigned by the staff] (6)
Courage: 9
Firepower: 5
Skill: 7

Biography: A lot has changed since the Beast Wars started and both factions have faced much change, Wintersong is one those many who have changed since awakening on the strange planet. In the beginning Wintersong's pod activated a little before the Beast Wars started and at the time faced confusion of where she was.Though there was a slight happiness when she met the Predacon Starshadow and it seemed the two might have been allies but of course this wasn't to be so which the tigeress soon found an enemy in the panther since. After joining with the original Axalon crew the tigeress became very reluctant to join them, especially with being stow away and not knowing how the Maximals would react to it so she kept herself away for much of the beginning.

On earlier missions Wintersong offered her support to help against the Predacons as either back up or just rushing into something without much thought for orders, rarely would she ever even report in when it was needed. This caused some annoyance to Optimus Primal whom WIntersong didn't exactly accept as her commander and had a rocky start trying to get a bit close to the crew which at one point she had a brief argument with Maximal Demolitions expert and spy Rattrap. During the first appearance of 'Clear Convoy' Wintersong did confess sneaking onto the Axalon and her reasons for being away from the crew because of it, being unsure of how the others would react but during this same mission she seemed to turn over a new leaf and started to become more of a team player along with coming terms to herself that being part of a team wouldn't be so bad.

During later missions Wintersong was now willingly putting her life in danger for her comrades but one mission nearly costed her own life in the arctic circle when she joined fellow Tigatron in going after a strange signal which turned out to be the Decepticon turned Predacon Nemesis along with fellow Maximals Icebreaker,Orcanier, and Feralnight which her and Tigatron soon met Glowstick and Snow Trix. Being too stubborn to run away, thinking it would be cowardly to let the Predacons win she recklessly tried to fight the squid called Glowstick which was a mistake that about had her systems frozen and her drowned. With another thought of that Wintersong has tried to be a bit more cautious unless needed but that is still a work in progress. Throughout other missions Wintersong has still thrown herself into danger such as with retrieving the pod that became Inferno which she faced much damage to her chest from the Predacon sniper Steelclaw plus being burned after. With the next mission 'Clear Convoy' makes another appearance and Wintersong gives aid as a gunner for Orcanier only to end up separated within a series of underground tunnels and having to work with some unexpected and brief allies.

When it came to the final moments of the Vok attempting to rid of Maximals and Predacons alike Wintersong was fearful of the plan like her teammates of the truce and of Optimus' decision though grudgingly she stuck around due to the threat of the Planet Buster. With the change to transmetal Wintersong still seems a bit timid though seems a bit feral and still slightly reckless though has a more cautious outlook then rushing head long into a situation. In the long run Wintersong seems to have grown slightly since first starting out and is now more then willing to help the Maximals while balancing her love of nature, though she still prefers outside then to sticking to the Axalon for long.

Weapons: With now being transmetal Wintersong is a bit unsettled of finding most of her long range weaponry is almost non-existent. Now she has more close combat weapons consisting of a Tail whip made from her segmented tail with a tip like that of a spear at the end but it doesn't straighten like Cheetor's. Another are the slightly curvy blades she has located just to the back of the shoulders that can detach. Two things Wintersong retains is the wrist launchers from her previous form that still pack a decent punch to send a bot off their feet and she still has a double-barreled laser pistol at her side.

Abilities: After becoming transmetal Wintersong has discovered an enhanced use of her night vision that allows her to see clearly at night from 30-40 feet. To add to this she has thermal sensors that allow her to see the heat signatures of both organic and transformers her optics turning green when in use. She also has a slight increase in speed and strength due to being turned transmetal. Her slightly darker coloration however provides a good cover not only in arctic regions but dark areas or shadows as well.

Transmetal Feature:
With the transmetal upgrade Wintersong gained wheels on her lower legs located on the side just below the knee a bit bigger then her paws and along her sides are thrusters for extra speed when running or riding around on wheels.
Picture can be found here: http://autobottundra.deviantart.com/#/d41ljv5

Weaknesses: One major flaw an enemy might notice is her inexperience in close combat as she was use to being a long distance shooter, this means she will likely use weapons from the Axalon for some support so she can get in close which puts her in tough spot. Coloration is still a weakness for Wintersong as she is now a silver with some darker shading and areas of black, she still is able to be seen from a distance unless it is dark or she can find a dark place to use for cover which unfortunately she has to adapt a cat's stealth to her new robotic form in beast mode and robot mode to avoid detection right away. Finally there is her slightly feral and reckless side that she will act alone often and do things her own way, especially throwing herself into a battle to keep her comrades safe if needed. As a final note Wintersong can still move in water due to her beast form but she seems rather a bit scared to go in anything deeper then up to her neck.

Name: Frilla
Allegiance: Maximal,former Predacon
Function: Data Analyst/collector
Alt. Mode: Transmetal frilled lizard
Height: 4.5 in beast mode lengthwise,5’3 in robot mode
Quote: “I’m small, what’s your point?”

Strength: 8
Intelligence:9
Speed: 7
Endurance:8
Rank: [Assigned by the staff] (5)
Courage: 6
Firepower:5
Skill: 7

Biography: Frilla was first part of a small group consisting of Glowstick, Snow Trix, and a few others and helped with some of the programming for the Levianthan though she eventually went off on her own and was MIA for about three months. As a small team led by Glowstick was on their way to search for one of two pods she was discovered and rejoined in the Predacon ranks taking part in a pattle against the Maximal fliers Valkyrie and Skyfire before retreating shortly after Feralnight was activated. She was part of a few more missions with the Predacons with one being Clear Convoy’s first appearance and some aid though mostly from the Levianthan and not physically in the battle herself. During her time with the Predacons she was also investigating the strange aliens that seemed hellbent on ridding of the factions. Eventually however Frilla began to question her loyalties which on her final mission with them Frilla showed her cowardice during the arrival of Maximal Whitegrazer, though she managed to sneak up the Maximal leader ready to rid of him though after a brief talk and confessing to Optimus her doubts she betrayed the Predacons by blasting Scorponok with acid pellets instead of helping.

After that she came with the Maximals to the Axalon facing an immediate suspicion by Rattrap, which for a little while she faces some issues with and became friends with Whitegrazer and Nightmist almost immediately and gaining a warm welcome from them and Cheetor.Though the same day Nightmist was killed by Decepticon turned Predacon Nemesis from a mission that same day and like the others mourned for her. On a few other missions Frilla continued to prove herself to the Maximals by giving Optimus some aid when trying to retrieve Inferno’s pod but she failed to stop his reprogramming due to Tarantulas and ended up with an enemy from former Maximal Manterror who had tried to claim the pod himself which Frilla might have been chopped to piece if not for some good luck though she sustained damage from Nemesis shortly after. Then when the transwarp signature was discovered Frilla went with Rattrap and Whitegrazer to give aid in the battle already ensuing, though she barely avoided being blown to pieces by Scorponok’s missiles when trying to distract him having a cyber bee latched to her face. Thanks to Orcanier’s help though with a internal grid of the area she was able to ‘see’ the two missiles and dodged them though soon was pulled into a network of tunnels full of booby traps from the Vok.

After this the threat from the aliens escalated prompting Megatron himself to ask for a truce which turned out to be a trick to stop the Vok’s moon weapon. After this Frilla was turned into a transmetal with enhanced abilities like a few others, though she has not changed too much in personality save for being just slightly braver though still a bit of a coward. Luckily though her and Rattrap have managed to set aside their differences.

Weapons: Frilla’s weapons consist two crescent shaped blades that come out from the sides of her lower arms used for close combat. Long range weaponry is a double-barrel laser gun on one side and an Electro-Scrambler.The electro-scrambler can be used to cause electrical systems to go haywire due to the electromagnetic wave it emits though this is an exception to those who are more heavily shielded from such an effect.

Abilities: One unique feature Frilla has gained is a slight change in her size and is slightly stronger then she once use to be. Her leg joints seem to have been modified to where Frilla can make a long leap of seven feet or higher for at the most five feet, though long range jumps become limited robot mode which she will have to use something to gain the extra height. Frilla’s claws have a slight curve to them making them sharp enough to climb most surfaces besides trees, examples being walls of the Axalon or a rock cliff.

Transmetal Feature:
The silver armor that looks over-lapped on the front of her legs can actually extend outward to make gliders that allow Frilla brief periods of gliding or fight from high altitudes. They are slanted slightly inwards similar to a plane and while she is in the air Frilla can lean to change the direction she wishes to go.

Weaknesses: One weakness Frilla faces is her size since she still is smaller than most but may just be slightly smaller than Rattrap if even that. She may be a good climber but slippery or damp surfaces, thicker rocks likes stone or marble or even limestone, and even loose gravel will prevent her from doing so or slow her down. Her spitting acid is only used in beast mode but useless when in robot form thus an effective weapon she once had is now limited and her jumping is also limited depending on which form she is in.

------------------------------------------------------

Name: Feralnight
Allegiance: Maximal
Function: Aerial Recon/Ground tracker
Alt. Mode: Wolf/raven fuzor
Height: 5’1 in beast mode, 5’7 in robot mode
Quote: “Freedom can never truly be gone.”

Strength: 6
Intelligence:6
Speed: 8
Endurance:7
Rank: [Assigned by the staff] (6)
Courage: 9
Firepower:5
Skill: 7

Biography: Feralnight’s pod crashed at the same time as Blackarachnia’s but the DNA scanner faced some damage and as a result scanned two forms to make her the first fuzor to come online during the Beast Wars.Upon activation she was quick to give aid to Valkyrie and Skyfire against Glowstick, Frilla, and Sonar. After her joining the Maximals she was one of the few fliers to help support them is several missions after. When Clear Convoy first appeared Feralnight was dispatched as aerial support which she came face to face against Terrorsaur for short time before falling back to help Cheetor against Clear Convoy which she nearly faced a hit by his mace to the chin but ended up hit in the wing which caused her a great amount of pain and grounded her the remainder of the fight. After she went with Icebreaker, Saber-fang, and Rattrap to retrieve the crashed ship containing Predacon Cecaelia and was able to examine the ship only briefly before falling back due to trouble on the Nomad which soon the fuzor was guarding Starshadow who was their prisoner briefly.

With the finding of a transwarp signature Feralnight was one of the first Maximals on scene and found herself helping Airazor and the Clone Primal in trying to bring down the Predacon fliers which at first it seemed the battle was in their favor. But soon Feralnight was giving support where she could before having a brief confrontation against Snow Trix. After teammates from both factions were lost underground she returned to her team where she also aided in trying to severe a link between the real Optimus Primal and the clone but she ended up grounded once more due to a shot to her wing joints by Snow Trix, disabling her flight ability at the time. Then when the time came of the Vok increasing the danger she took part in the so called truce but at the loss of the Maximal leader she did her best to start helping where needed.

Since the first time she came from her pod Feralnight has grown to be one of the more calm minded maximals and keeping her strong belief of justice and freedom. Though the fuzor has never told the others part of her past she hardly seems the type to be suspicious but does not seem particularly close to anyone either. Feralnight is also one of the only fuzors who has no transmetal qualities however.

Weapons: Feralnight hasn’t changed much of her weaponry though she no longer uses a laser gun but instead has got a modification to have a second shoulder cannon which doubles her firepower a bit. She has also decided to start using small explosives though it is rarely will she do so less an occasion calls for it or provide it for some of her teammates if they need it. She also has kept her feather daggers that come from her wings.

Abilities: Feralnight is able to utilize the use of both land and air, having begun to have more confidence in her capabilities and finding a way to make use of both forms instead of relying on her flight all the time. She also has quite acute senses from a sharp eye sight, strong sense of smell that allows her to catch the faintest of scent, and strong hearing from a distance. Night vision is also a slight advantage as she can spot enemies or allies whether or not it night time or just a dark place.

Weaknesses: One thing an enemy might notice is her Feralnight’s tendency to avoid her wings being hit as they are the most sensitive and if damaged prevent her from the use of flight. High pitched sounds or certain scents can hurt Feralnight due to her acute hearing and smell which may render her unable to hear for a short time or not able to track a particular scent. Another thing one might notice is her unwillingness to be close to anyone of her teammates which if ever in trouble she may end up trying something herself.

NAME : Manterror

GENDER : Male

ALLEGIANCE : Predacon

FUNCTION : Infantry

ALTERNATE MODE : Praying Mantis

HEIGHT : 1.9m

QUOTE : "Dismember it first, ask questions later."

STRENGTH : 9
INTELLIGENCE : 6
SPEED : 7
ENDURANCE : 6
RANK : Assigned by the staff
COURAGE : 5
FIREPOWER : 7
SKILL : 8
[Stats excluding rank must not total over 45!]

BIO :

Though somewhat ungainly in appearance, Manterror is an accomplished and adept fighter, nimble and amazingly fast. He often trades on his apparent awkwardness to lull opponents into a false sense of security... before tearing them limb from limb. Manterror has been known to strip an opponent to the main strut-assembly in a fraction of a second. It's only when he goes to work with his mandibles that his real persona comes to the fore, revealing a gleefully maniacal, hyperactive and twisted individual with an abiding love for pain and distress. Thorougly nasty and irredeemably rotten, Manterror has no virtues or scruples whatsoever. (BW Sourcebook)

WEAPONS:

In robot mode or in beast form, Manterror utilizes the sickle blades on both of his arms to deal devastating damage in close combat. While transformed, he is able to launch spinning ion disks at his opponents which slice through armor. Perhaps the most deadly part about his arsenal however, is not what the weapons are, but how he is able to use them. As if trained as a samurai on Cybertron, Manterror is able to fight with an almost unrivaled skill.

-2x Sickle Blades, Spinning Ion Blades

ABILITIES :

Ability to activate internal stealth silencers. This allows him to sneak up on unsuspecting foes without them hearing his approach.

WEAKNESS :

He can often get so focused on fighting one individual that he isn't aware of other potential threats.

Okay, the stats look fine.. But there are some concerns here. One I noticed the sudden jump in melee users. You didn't HAVE to go melee just because your going transmetal, many characters still carried guns even if their toys didn't.

Also, under normal night circumstances Wintersong's night vision should be able to see further then that, just the cave episode removes ambient light from stars reducing her night vision, though it would be functional because of the ambient light from the vairius light sources littered in that cave. And since she'd be a transmetal with a glowing light source being her optics (even though glowing optics don't make sense in science..) she could use those as a light source allowing her night vision to be enhanced enough to see in pure darkness.

Wintersong and Frilla also don't have listed their transmetal features which is usually some form of mobility enhancement.

Name: Starshadow
Allegiance: Predacon
Function: Combat specialist/Frontliner
Alt mode: Transmetal Black panther
Height: 8'5ft
Quote: "Don't worry..I'll put an end to your suffering.." OR "That's going to cost you an optic."

STRENGTH: 7
INTELLIGENCE: 6
SPEED: 7
ENDURANCE: 6
RANK: [assigned by staff]
COURAGE: 7
FIREPOWER: 1-8 (8 for gun)
SKILL: 9

Bio:
After serving Megatron for months, Starshadow has finally found one of her surviving crew named Cecaelia. She betrayed the predacons after finding Cecaelia in a Hell Fang rescue ship but was defeated by Glowstick. Reluctantly, she accepted her fate in continuing to do Megatron's dirty work in winning the war while protecting Cecaelia from being killed or harmed. Because of her loyalty to Hell Fang Society, terminating Cecaelia's spark became her new mission.
After the fake moon was destroyed, Starshadow became transmetal and gained new abilities, new weaknesses and new chat partners.

WEAPONS
- Galvaconduct driver
A high powered Electro projection weapon system installed inside her chest, the weapon discharges bolts of electricity channeled through her superstructure, normally her hands. An added benefit, the weapon can channel electricity through her super structure causing electric shocks to foes that physically touch her.

- Energy draining fangs

- Mortem (just a name)
A laser carbine (customized version of the M4 Carbine)

Electro blade emitter: Points built into her arms and wings project a magnetically bottling force field which acts as a container for discharged electrical energy. The blades acts as beam sabers. The electric arm blades' length are changeable depending on how much voltage is powered to its emitter.

ABILITY:
Energy Drain: To supplement the costly demand of her weapons, Starshadow has the ability to use either her fangs or the prongs on the end of her tail as a means of drawing energon/electricity from a victim or electrical device through physical impalement. When these appendages are active, they glow.

Infectious mechfluid (NEW): With her body further mutated by a dark secret she kept for years, her mechfluid became ever more lethal. On frame(skin) contact, it is still safe as the microbots will only be active when it detects itself to be inside the body. If her mechfluid or venom gets either ingested or get inside an open wound, the process of the mutation would be excruciating as the microbots replaces every piece of the victim's body with itself (kinda like necrosis but mashed it up with The Thing mutation and Witchblade(comics) transformation). Even during the mutation process, Visia is able to speak to the victim and attempt to establish her mind control on them. Depending on the victim's willpower, they can resist the mind control. (Use Starshadow's Skill tech spec as a reference)

Netherzarian venom: A more potent poison than her mechfluid. Microbots uncontrolled can result in a painful death or mutation to be a mindless bot. Microbots and administering of venom by a bite are controlled by Visia herself. The more the dose, the higher risk of death and faster the mutation.

Weakness:
Her electricity weapon system are taxing on her systems, draining her energon reserves reducing her battle time, even with the use of energy draining, her endurance may not be able to sustain a long fight.

The only way to completely leave her defenseless in a short time is to attach ground cables to her body and shackle her to the floor. That way she would not be able to use any of her electrical powered weapons including her fangs.

Hard and direct UV Light (NEW): Though Starshadow may be able to stand out in the day. Hard UV spectrum lasers and light are useful to deter and damage her effectively but there is always a risk. UV weapons burns her like a painful cure. Another solution to avoid getting mutated is to use UV dye on oneself. If a bot gets mutated not too long, it can be used as a cure but will leave some traces of the mutation results on their frames depending how mutated the bot is (Umbra's clawed fingers halfway during the mutation).

Transmetal feature:
- Wing boosters
Two long folding wings equipped with ionic boosters, when deployed they fold to the sides of her beast mode allowing increased running speed and flight, by emitting electro blades along the forward edge of the wings they can even be operated as a type of melee weapon. (Not energy based.)

Weakness:
The majority of Starshadow's weapon systems are taxing on her systems, draining her energon reserves and over all reducing her battle time, even with the use of draining energy from her victims she can not sustain a long drawn out fight.
(Another weakness I've thought about!)
When channeling too much electrical energy on her superstructure, her circuits would be damaged.

The alterations to her body from the transwarp explosion have included added luminescence making her far less stealthy then her older form, combine with active use of her Galvaconduit driver which causes the ambient air to be converted into the smell of Ozone, large amounts of heat, and minor amounts of plasma from heating surfaces she touches. All of this in effect makes her extremely easy to detect to those with strong ol factory sensory, heat sensory, and noticed from causing errors in radars and radios when near by enemies or allies.
When channeling too much electrical energy on her superstructure, her circuits would be damaged.
(Another new weakness....)
Sometimes her talking partners have disagreements with her and each other and may try to "possess" Starshadow's body. (lotsa mental fighting in her head :P )

*Note: He optic colors tells her emotions.
Cyan = Normal
Icy blue = Sad
Red = Pissed/Original Starshadow talking
Silver = Really pissed
Violet/Purple = Keres talking

Sample post:
Starshadow was outside the Darksyde in the night, looking at the last moon. How could the quantum surge actually made these changes? She hoped her weapons are not lack of firepower. Her gun was not as big as she expected it to be. Raising it and aiming at a boulder, she pulled the trigger. Amazingly, it's automatic and has lesser recoil.

"Honey, I'm going to name you Mortem." she smirked. It suits him since Mortem means death. Claiming lives would be his job and her job would be polishing him.

Okay, so.. Starshadow has multiple personality disorder now? Heh.. I now am glad I never brought Naito into this game..since his girlfriend had a similar issue. I'm assuming either a psychological disorder, or the sparks of the dead are swimming around in there, like Hineko..Minus the major appearance transformations.

Well, I'm assuming you have some sort of means of explaining that, and physically the profile is fine.

Did some editing for the night vision though I am not sure of the exact distance she could see so just did an estimate of around close to 40 feet, if it's farther I can change it. Transmetal feature was something I really had to think about since we got quite a few who will be flying in season 2 and well we don't have a cat on wheels so something different though I'm open for a different idea on that.Besides that keeping Wintersong a melee fighter though she still has some distance fighting as well.

Frila is revamped! Ever see a lizard glide? (no joking) But any way I did finally think of a transmetal feature for Frilla and made use of the silver armor on her legs which looking at her design some form of flight would do but I went with gliders since she is still small enough and gets into high places a lot. Her weapons I did some change to go between a close combat and long ranged, hopefully balancing those two out since I doubt she'd really be wanting to be in close anyway.

I have a question... Can we add 3 points to Canon characters if they aren't at or above 48? Airazor for example, is at 45, but I know she isn't the only one. She would be at a serious disadvantage against any OC, especially transmetals.

I'm not sure, you may have to verify it with the others. Raising Airazor's stats means we'll have to bump up Blackarachnia (who's going transmetal in S3), Inferno, and Waspinator. I guess it'll also depend on whether or not we decide to keep Airazor alive. I'm not sure if the staff reached a conclusion on that topic.

I'm not entirely sure who the Staff is, but OOP and I came to a conclusion to keep her and Tigatron alive. To me though, it seems if we're going to be raising OC stats, why would the Canon characters stay the same? If we change one, we should be changing both or none at all. Seems silly to change the OC stats on the basis of 'they have changed and learned since they arrived' when the same can be applied to the canon characters.

Also, Blackarachnia goes Transmetal 2, which I would assume, would mean a higher stat count than TM1 is.

The stat change was actually meant to put OCs on a closer playing field to the canon characters. There are some exceptions, but those characters end up dying (Airazor), end up upgrading (Blackarachnia), or end up being universal punching bags (Waspinator). OOP is a moderator here, so if she says Airazor is going to live then we'd might as well upgrade the character to TM as soon as Season 2 begins. I don't know if this means Tigatron will be doing the same, though. I guess since OOP is playing him, she'll get to decide his fate.

I can see your point, however I would like to point out that Air Razor is pretty much the exception among the canons here. A majority of the canon characters already have ridiculously high stats, much higher than the OCs even after they get the TM bonus. To give the high stat canons an additional bonus will not help even things out any for the OCs, especially since many of the canons are going TM as well.

Having said that I don't see why AR shouldn't be able to get the +3 raise the fuzors/oc's that stay in their original form get, if she has as low stats as you posted. But for canons who are already in the 60s stat wise, I don't think they need the additional raise.

I agree with this. I can understand not wanting to raise the stats of characters who are already very powerful, but-
Can we add 3 points to Canon characters if they aren't at or above 48?
-sounds like a good rule to me. And if, by any chance there are any transmetal cannon characters who are at or above 50, we should probably let them add too.
I understand... you are, after all, a predacon.
