Well, our son was born at 4:23 pm today (sunday 5th of June). My water broke at 5 am this morning, and by 7 am the next, painful, stage of contractions began. I had opted to not have a spinal epidural but when the pain (especially backpain) got too horrible I had a nubain (a narcotic pain relief) around 2 pm..
The baby is healthy and I'm doing well also, just exhausted beyond words right now. Staying in the hospital until Tuesday night provided all goes well.

A beautiful life has come into this world. Congratulations, Phoenix!
I recently became an uncle (again XD), and I got to hold my new niece, and I realized there's nothing like holding an infant in your arms. Although I've yet to hold a baby that was my own, so I can only imagine the ecstasy you're in.
