Razor One at your service :)

I'm brand new so far as BW is concerned, I've watched all three seasons but I havent participated that much online forums, chat or otherwise.

Some things about myself? Hrrm. I like TM Cheetor, Blackarachnia, Silverbolt and Dinobot. I've read a lot of material in my time ranging from HG Wells to Arthur C. Clarke and George Orwell.

I read a few of the fics here and liked what I saw. I've added a couple of my own and hope to add more as the struggle between writers block and sleep deprivation continues with the golden opportunity of creative lucidity lying in a tenous no-mans land somewhere in between.

I also have a tendency to babble

Indeed, welcome! Your "babbling" as you call it is most welcome, as well!

Ditto on the Cheetor, Dinobot, and Silverbolt!

Do you have a particular HG Wells book that is your favorite, or that you found to be a most interesting read? I've only read George Orwell's 1984, but I thought it was quite interesting.

HG Wells, eh? I like his books. especially war of the worlds.i've seen both versions. the 50's one is funny and weird but the modern one just creeps me out.

The Island of Dr. Moreau is one of the few that I havent had the pleasure of reading yet. None of the book stores seem to sell it and none of the libraries seem to have it =\

My personal Favorite of Wells is the Time Machine, followed by WotW and The First Men in the Moon as well as The Invisible Man.

And thanks for the warm welcome! It feels good to be here :)

The Time Machine is my favorite as well, I've always wondered where the Time Traveler finally ended up. The Island of Dr. Moreau and WotW are tied for second place. I think I've read The Fisrt Men in the Moon, although I'm not sure. I may be thinking of a different book with a similar title (but it was very good none the less).

You're probably thinking of the Jules Verne duo where they build a giant cannon and get shot around the moon and back to earth.

In the Wells version, a special gravity resisting substance called "Cavorite" allows their ship to journey to the moon, and if I may say, the chapter where Wells describes Dawn on the Moon was absolutely fantastic.

Nope, something different. Ah well, it was still a good book.
