I know there are some people here who own video game consoles. I'm getting Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for the PS3 because I have more personal friends who are buying it for that system rather than the Xbox 360. I'm just curious to see if anyone else here is planning on buying it, as well. I already have Beast Bot on my friends list, but I just want to make sure that I'm not missing anybody.

Just kidding, but it is a good investment is you have a high definition TV and like to play Blu-ray movies and video games. War for Cybertron is cheap now so you can experience it in all its glory, as well as the uber awesome Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I've owned my PS3 Slim for over a year now and my XBox 360 Slim for over 6 months. Only 2 days ago did I decide to buy a 42" plasma screen TV to compliment these systems, and that was only because I'm THAT excited for this year's game list.

This game is fantastic. Anyone else play this yet? I'm in love the the variety of characters here. Sure, it's a smaller roster than MvC2 but there's no clones. PSN ID is A27Alak is anyone owns it for the system.

I was sorely tempted given that both of my fav Marvel characters-- Deadpool AND X-23-- are in there, but I've eventually decided against it mainly because:

-I really, really, really stink at fighting games
-I don't really have many people to play with, and this would be a game I'd pretty much only have fun with with other people
-Don't really care about the Capcom side of things
-There's already tons of games coming out that I want

Heh, this thread is still up tempting me eh? Yeah, strangely I haven't gotten Marvel vs Capcom 3 either. Mostly since Online play sucks and locally everybody I know only does FPS and anyone I used to play fighting games with moved off. So the few times I attempt to bring out a fighting game at a party, does not end well. "Hey, I brought some games." "What the.. Killer Instinct?" "Ah yeah, haven't played that in 15 years.." "If you haven't played it in 15 years why are you winning?!" "I understand the basics?" "Basics of what? You just have to bash buttons!" *sigh*

So.. yeah, well that and the controller I was using for Streetfighter 4 broke.

Unlike Beastbot though, there hasn't been much for games I have wanted lately.
