For those celebrating today, have a merry christmas. If not celebrating, happy holidays!

*gets ready for work* After work, I'm heading over to my great aunt's house for christmas dinner with the family.

Ooh, I had to work on Christmas two years ago but I recall it being slow and pretty relaxing. Hope you all enjoy Christmas as I know I will!

Thanks Wicked Woman! Christmas has been and gone here in Australia (it's already boxing day here) but I want to add my own merry Christmas wishes to this thread. I hope everyone enjoys this period, whether it's just a holiday or a religious celebration.

(Don't eat too much cake! )

My sister and I were lucky to get out of England, having left England at different times. It was snowing very heavily as my plane TOOK OFF :P

Merry (late) Christmas, y'all! I had a great one, traditional stockings, present opening morning and Christmas dinner in the evening :D I hope everyone's rest-of-the-holidays are merry and full of leftover Turkey and mince pies  xxx

Belated Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a great holiday. I can't believe 2010 is almost over. Where does the time go?!

Hoping everyone had a great christmas! I too was working christmas day and the day after, but for me it truly sucked.. I work in a health care facility, so Christmas is crammed with demanding family members and lots of people calling in sick for work (convenient.. :p ), so I spent 3 pm to midnight on christmas day working two people's jobs (since they moved my partner to another unit to cover the lack of people showing up).

So without exaggerating I can say I literally cared for twice as many people as I'd normally have to do, by myself, and did not even get to take out the unpaid obligatory half hour break I'm supposed to have during my shift. Missed christmas dinner with family and all.

That was my workplace's christmas gift for those of us who spent christmas day at work. :p

At any rate I'm thinking about taking out my vacation time during the holidays next year, since it'll be the first christmas with our son or daughter and I don't want to miss it.

Fortunately we did get to celebrate some on Christmas eve. :)

Pretty late, but I thought I'd chip in and say I hope y'all had a good Christmas.

Hopefully everyone will also have a good New Year. :D
