I'm really digging the look of it. The energon crystals were a nice touch as well as the faction symbols being implemented in game. Quick question: is Polar Claw's bat drone a kamikaze weapon? It was flying straight at an enemy but the clip cut into a different scene before the results were shown.

Anyway, it looks good!

Thanks Alak for the question, because it made me think of something I totally should have done; yes the bat drone is a kamikaze weapon, but as of right now the very second it explodes, you go right back to Polar Claw, and never see the explosion. I will change it so you see the explosion and waits a second to return control to Polar Claw.

I have been messing around with post processing chains, and the results have been interesting.

Pictures of the characters in the character selection menu was one thing, but having the 3d character in the menu just works better.

I created WIP land mines, and now RazorBeast can lay up to three down.

Did he have that ability in the canon storyline? I only recall shoulder cannons.

If you need/want help with sounds I would be happy to help? IE: sounds for the transformers, like beast modes, nature sounds, explosions, etc. I'm really interested and becoming pretty good at designing sounds.

I don't think RazorBeast had any land mine laying capabilities, but it was more of an ability I wanted to create, and he is a character I hadn't given an ability to yet. Once I create the abilities I can switch them around between characters as needed.

Now that I have finalized my character list; I feel I should start working with some writers to begin planning the story. Using a storyboard program like storyboard pro http://www.atomiclearning.com/storyboardpro to create a good visual presentation. I will create some basic limitations for the writers, and be the approving authority for quality assurance and technical limitations. The number one reason I started this was to create a new beast wars story that is controlled by fans, that can be continued indefinitely. If possible I would like to get a team of people working together to create story plot, dialog, and create a storyboard.

Here is the planned cast:

Maximals:
Armordillo - Completed
Rattrap - Completed
RazorBeast - Completed
Airazor -
Tigatron - Completed
Cheetor - Completed
Dinobot -
Rhinox - Completed
Silverbolt -
Polar Claw - Completed
Optimus Primal - Completed

Predacons:
Razorclaw - Completed
Snapper - Completed
Terrorsaur -
Quickstrike - Completed
Manterror - Completed
Blackarachnia - Completed
Tarantulas - Completed
Waspinator -
Scorponok - Completed
Inferno -
Megatron - Completed

Extra:
Tigerhawk - Completed

For simplicity sake I had decided not to worry about complex animations, like facial expressions or individuals hand gestures. For characters talking I will use their glowing eyes to indicate they are talking; not ideal, but easier. This is just something done quickly to see how it would look, so the quality is low. Does the glowing eyes kind of pull off bringing a little life to them?

I've been following this thread on and off, but I wanted to break my lurker status to say a big thank you to you, mcshooterz, for creating such an awesome looking game. I had a look at some of the youtube videos you posted of the gameplay and was very impressed. Please keep up the fantastic work! I am sure many on this forum are eagerly watching your progress. :)
