This has been such an eventful past few months! The wedding, honeymoon, school, work... And a few days ago I found out I'm pregnant! I'm expecting a boy or girl (won't find out for a few months) in June of 2011..

Thanks all ! It's going to take a bit for it all to sink in.. The timing wasn't exactly the best, but we'll find a way to work through it. I have a couple months left of school and was hoping to be settled in a new job first but oh well..
Will finish school, and the job will probably have to wait due to nobody's going to hire after my belly really starts showing. Now finding a house seems rather urgent all of a sudden. So chances are we are moving in March, provided we can find a nice house with a back yard and such (for the dog) and an extra bedroom or two for the little one(s).
The morning sickness comes and goes. It's not too bad so far. I have developed the superpower of "bloodhound sense of smell" though.. It gets a bit overwhelming sometimes. And I'm only a month along, and I swear my pants feel a bit tighter already!
Totally bizarre thing is that the baby's father (Warwulf on this board, although MIA for a while..) I originally met at another tf board. This is going to be one messed up baby.

Not a messed up baby, a super cool baby!
Any child born of two TF fans is going to rock.
Congratulations, Phoenix. That's great news. I hope you have a smooth pregnancy and that the morning sickness doesn't trouble you too much. You must be so excited!

It still hasn't quite dawned on me, to be honest. This is all very new to me. First child to either of us, so we're just taking things as they come.
I'm trying to be good, taking prenatal vitamins along with extra vitamin D and DHA supplements to help the baby get the best possible terms. It's still nerve wrecking to even think about becoming parents, though.. I sure do hope we'll manage all right.. And that by June we have a house of our own with a couple extra bedrooms, so that we have space for our growing family.. And hopefully a back yard for the 5 month old puppy to run in.
It's just crazy how much has happened to me over the course of the past few months.. But of all of it, this is definitely the biggest. I find I'm both terrified and excited at the same time, which I'm assuming is normal for any new parents-to-be.

Well two weeks later.. I seem to be going through phases of symptoms. I had quite a lot of nausea earlier, but the last few days I've been struggling with fatigue and tender breasts instead. But all in all it's going all right.

watch out for the cravings. I've heard certain cravings determine the gender of the baby (salty for boy; sweet for girl... or vice versa...maybe...uh...
)
Well congrats anyways. Hopefully things turn out alright for you. i know several people who were unexpectedly preggers and they turned into fabulous parents so *thumbs up!*
You'll be sure to show a picture of the little one(s) once they're born and you're all settled in. We'd love to see the little 'Cheetor' and/or 'Airazor'. And take care of yourself as well. Stress is not good fo anyone at this time so if you start panicking(sp?) take a seat or lie down. k?

Supposedly if you look tired during the pregnancy you'll have a boy, if you look happy a lot then it's a girl

Almost Christmas and we don't know the gender yet. We went to a preliminary ultrasound last week, but it was just to test for age accuracy and to make sure development was going normally. Which it is.
Due date appears to be around June 19th of next year.
As for predicting the gender based on cravings, it could be anything! My cravings have been all over the place, from chocolate and candy one day, to cottage cheese, and hot dogs the next! I feel like I have gained much more weight than the scale at the dr office says I have..
The worst nausea is starting to let up. And the extreme fatigue (caused by the progesterone levels btw, thus not a very good indicator of gender.
) is also getting better.. A poll where people guess what it will be might be just as accurate as the old wive's tales, as I've had a little of both on most that apply.
We'll see if anything changed during the second ultrasound.
