Starshadow, I've been meaning to ask you - what do you use to colour your drawings? The uneven application of colour looks like marker ink, but it's hard to tell from a scan.

I used color pencils and I used my phone camera to take the picture and upload it. I know it sucks.

Ah, that makes sense then.

Do you try to follow the grain when you colour? By that I mean doing all pencil strokes in the same direction.
Just throwing this one out there, but have you done any playing around with different techniques? Like, doing the edges with a dark pressured line, and then softer pressure on the inside so that the edges stick out more? Or blending different colours? Funny enough, the white pencil does a wonder job when it comes to blending 2 or 3 colours together to create a new effect. You can always play around on a scrap piece of paper to see if you can give yourself some new ideas to make SS look even cooler :)
