Picture of A Friend

Really wanted to draw something and ended up drawing a picture of a childhood friend of mine, based off one of her model shots. ^.^

Since I don't want to post it on my main DA account, I'm opting to show it on my second one, and thought I'd share it here too.

It was mainly a study in hair more then anything else, and attempting shadows/ highlights with other colors like greens and blues.

I know it's nothing great or close to some other works of mine. It only took about twenty minutes soo..yea >.>

Figured I hadn't posted any artwork here and if anyone cared to see it, there you go..

This is very nice, Lady Venom. Love the pose. Since you had commented on one of my drawings there (don't know which is your main account), I took the liberty of glancing at your gallery and your style is quite unique. I like it.

OOP, I hear that a lot. One person said I have a style they hadn't seen in years but I have NO idea what style their talking about (not being purposely ignorant, just naive).

I thought my style was pretty similar to other people, but I'm starting to like being told it's not (yes, a little ego in a spot lacking it, is nice once in a while

)

MissLadyVenom is my main art account, but I'm starting to ween myself off of using it for art updates. I had an incident there with someone not on DA stalking me there (seriously, I have had more stalkers then I can count on one hand and that's starting to really get aggravating).

So I've had another account on DA under a different name where my new stuff is being uploaded for when I'm ready to leave that account in the dust. Just so they don't follow me ( she said she was backing off, though I'm not sure I fully believe her), I'm not giving it out to anyone.

If it's found, that's fine, but I'm not willingly giving out my new name.

LV I love how you did the hair, makes it look like it's moving! The eye is also done well.

Are you kidding? It looks great! It's got so much character you can see in her eye. The light colours give it so much energy and life, it's great Lady V!

I think her eye is the worst of it >_< Krista has such an interesting eye color it was nigh impossible to properly capture!
