Marv Wolfman, who wrote the BW episode "The Probe", helped to develop the idea for Beast Machines and also wrote 5 episodes of the series, has agreed to answer some questions.

Marv is also a comics book legend having worked for Marvel in the 70's, 80's and 90's.

I'd like to know what he thinks of the "stigma" attached with Beast Machines. I am personally a fan of the series and like alot of the things that they did with it, however there is a great deal of complaint from most people about the development/mishandling of various characters. What brought about such dramatic changes for so many characters in beast machines?

Would he like to see another Transformers series with a darker focus like Beast Machines? If so, then how would he see a series like this coming to be?

Would there be the possibility of another series with great CG and excellent story writing in the near future?
